Yoder's Dutch Barns

We recently used Yoder’s Dutch Barns to move our shed that was damaged/shifted from the recent tornado. Mr. Phil was professional, knowledgable and so kind. He worked incredibly hard and did a fantastic job! We were grateful to salvage our existing shed. However, after witnessing his quality of work and care I would gladly recommend them for a new shed too. Thank you for being a blessing to work with during a stressful and challenging time!

Built a shed on my property and did a fantastic job. Two respectful and pleasant young men did this in 5 hours and I had the rest of the day. I added on something’s in the middle and they were happy to accommodate us. I highly recommend

Bought a storage building from them several years back and had them move it from old location to new location. The storage building has held up very well over the years. I highly recommend them.

Awesome selection of buildings and carports. Very reasonably priced. Could not ask for better couple to work with. They make you feel at home and go out of there way to help you! I highly recommend

We drove over from Cedar Hill (48mins) to check out the wood barns and get prices on metal siding for an incomplete pole barn that came with our property.

When we arrived, no one was out in the parking lot,. So we walked around a bit. After a few minutes we decided to try a door with a sign reading, "Office".

Upon entering , we found (I am assuming) the owner sitting at a desk with an employee (son?). They both stared up at me indignantly. I said, "Hi, Sorry. Not sure if I came in the right door. I was wondering if there was someone who could help answer a few questions".

"There was no one out there to help you?", replied the owner. "Well he's probably busy. Anyway. What's the question?"

So I told him that I was looking for someone to finish a side wall and garage door opening of the 24x48 pole barn.

He asked where I lived. When I told him, Cedar Hill, his response was, "Hrm. that's quite FAR".

Really??? Sorry..... But even the text in the Yelp description reads. "WE ARE ONLY MINUTES FROM NASHVILLE, BELLEVUE, FRANKLIN, CLARKSVILLE"

- Nashville is 58 minutes
- Franklin is 1 hour 10 minutes

The two men grumbled a bit more about how far it was and how much work it was to do. So I showed them pictures on my phone. Then, sensing that they were completely disinterested, I asked them.... "If you're unable to do the work, would you be able to you deliver the panels so that I could do the work myself?" (- I'm a 5'6", 55 yr old woman - ).

"We could", the owner replied. "There will be a delivery fee".

"Ok. How much would the metal sheets be each?", I asked.

With a straight face, he responded, "The panels are 3 feet wide and are $310 per foot (in the other direction)". -- Say what?!?! -- I asked again. "Three hundred and ten....". He told me again. Then I wrote it down.

My son & friend who were with me both looked at me as we walked to the car & said, "That's crazy".

He was going to charge me $29,000 for JUST the eight, 12 foot panels. That's not even the front side. INSANE! (I know the entire 24x48 structure with metal sides & roof only cost $10k. So $29k to fill a hole in the side was pure BS).

People have become so lazy. Basically he was telling us to f* off. Very Christian indeed.

PS. ..... Ik ben opgegroeid in Nederland. Deze mensen gedroegen zich niet zoals alle Nederlanders die ik ken. Ze zijn ongeveer zo Nederlands als pizza.

No customer service the first guy acting like it was a inconvenience to ask questions and then told us the building we was looking at was the biggest they sold I guess they judged us on our looks so when we pay cash for a building it will not be them.

Just purchased a complete metal roof with installation for my 70 year old home. I could not be more pleased with Yoder's. The customer service was exceptional. They are scrupulously honest, trustworthy and upfront. They were on time, non obtrusive as much as possible, and meticulous in their workmanship. The clean up was thorough and fastidious. They had a great color selection and we went with the hunter green. The results are truly extraordinary. I highly recommend them. 5 stars all the way!

Love the atmosphere & the Service is top notch. If there's anything that can be built or something customized they'll be able to meet the demand. Also, has payment options if your funds are low at the time & they deliver to your location. Give then a try.. .I promise you'll not be disappointed.

I’m very pleased with the shop they built for me. They didn’t cut any corners and I’m a builder myself and have framed for years. Theses guys know what they are doing, I would definitely recommend this company! Great job on my 16’ x 28’ building!!!

great experience went on Saturday looked around found a few we like for our needs they were about to close so we took a couple of days thought which one we liked went back on Tuesday and paid it was delivered on Thursday fast service great people

Sometimes you find a great business. But rarely do you find a business that is excellent. Look no further than here for excellent. ( If your looking for a roof that is)From the estimate to the job performance and quality, everything was top notch.

I feel that I am being fair by giving a three star review. The product they offer is great. I was excited to arrive and take a look at their lot. I spent about 25 min with my family looking for 2 cabins/sheds for our new property we are purchasing. None of the buildings on the lot have any information to tell you what size the display model is.

We went to the office to ask the dimensions of 2 cabins we were interested in, and the gentlemen was very short and lacked customer service skills. His immediate reply to the dimensions of a specific model was "ohhhh, you can't buy that one. It's sold already". I was not interested in buying that exact model sitting on the lot. I just wanted to know the dimension as a reference. The tone was just very rude, and that was enough for me to decide they cannot earn my business. I can spend the $6,000-$9,000 elsewhere.

Excellent quality. Excellent customer service. Big selection. Great prices. Compared with others from Benton, Humphreys, Houston & Montgomery County. Best value was here. Hands down best.

I've got 3 shield's from them in the past year, love there craftsman ship, and great price. They have my business for life.
