It was easy for me to narrow down my roofing selection because I had three recommendations from friends and they seemed both competent and more reasonably priced than others. I then interviewed four and easily dismissed the one with a hard sell and slick presentation. Chris gave me good advice on skylights, shingle selection, gutters, and any other questions that I had. I’m glad that I selected C&C roofing. They did good work and Chris communicated well throughout the process. Good results. Good experience.

I recently had my roof done with this company and learned a lot of how to install a drip edge the proper way. Yellowfin came out and replaced my roof and then I had another company come out to replace the facia. When doing the job the found that over half the old facia had nails in it from the roofers installing the drip edge wrong. To install the new facia some of the newly installed drip edge had to be tore out. After learning this I called the foreman of job and he said absolutely the drip edge should have been nailed into the plywood and not the drip edge. Its been 3 weeks and the company has been back once and have not finished. After leaving multiple messages I am at a loss here. So I will attach some pictures.

Update: The company has reached out and came out to address my concerns. They made all the necessary fixes to all the drip edge. I was very satisfied of end result.

Yellowfin was hard at work at our home for two straight days. We needed to get ridge vents installed and needed to get our soffits opened up. Everyone at Yellowfin from consultation to communication to delivery was excellent to deal with. The sales consultant was a great human being who took the time to explain my options, make recommendations, and was transparent. He was not trying to over-sell me for solutions I did not need. I should also mention that Yellowfin's pricing vs. a noteworthy highly rated competitor for the same work was considerably cheaper. I would easily recommend them to others looking for roofing work. All in all, great experience.

We had a lot of questions at that first meeting. They responded with terrific ideas and solutions to meet our needs. I don’t normally write a review but Yellowfin just completed our roof and siding and it couldn’t have went any smoother. The entire crew were friendly and courteous. They answered any questions my wife and I had, very professional. They kept the mess contained, the area very clean and they finished sooner than expected. The new roof and siding look awesome and we’ve already had so many neighbors complement us on the new look.

We had about 22 windows replaced and Yellowfin did an amazing job. The windows are perfect. They open and close very smoothly, the fit into the existing space is precise and the design makes them easy to clean. The installation was completed impeccably. We have dark wood trim in our house and they even took the time to find molding that matches perfectly. Their sales person Dan, responds very quickly to any questions or concerns. Their installation team is very professional- they show up on time and clean up at the end of the day. Highly recommend Yellowfin for windows…or doors, siding and roofing for that matter. Had our extremely leaky roof replaced in october after having recently moved into our house. The quoting process was very straightforward, the sales pitch wasn't some flashy presentation which I appreciated. The quote was very detailed and Dan answered all questions promptly. I didn't get the impression I was being sold a bunch of unnecessary things. Scheduling the installation was easy and the work finished extremely quick. Professional crew, very well done. Yellowfin Roofing made the process of getting the roof replaced very seamless. Yellowfin Roofing was very thorough, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional from the beginning of the process until the end of the process with an existing roof being replaced and a new roof installed. To repeat Yellowfin Roofing was very "knowledgeable" about every aspect of the project.

We had been needing a roof replacement for about a year now. I have a part time job that I drive around New Castle County 3 days a week. Took down names of the businesses that I saw working on roofs or just saw their business trucks. Called 5 of them. They all came in a very timely fashion. Got the quotes back very quickly. The wife and myself decided to go with Yellowfin. Dan had really given a great presentation to me and explained to me in great detail.
The crew for thew roof did a fantastic job! Also had the gutter replaced with leaf guard through Yellowfin. They as well did a fantastic job. Now just waiting for it to rain so I can watch the roof and gutter system working the way it should.

DAN STEDMAN who came to the house and provided the inspection and options for repairing the minor roof issues, provided a very fair quote, and scheduled the work within days due to our time constraints. After taking estimates from seven roofers, we decided to go with Yellowfin. Rick was easy to work with from start to finish. Very reputable company, quick and responsive with estimates which are efficiently and accurately written. We worked with Yellowfin for a rental property to have a roof done this past Jan 2022. As a renter we were so impressed with the integrity of the company that we consulted with them for a new roof when purchasing our own home months later. Once again they did not disappoint and the pricing was extremely fair. We then received a quote to do Board and Batten siding designed with Harvey Cedar Plank. Again, the pricing was consistent, the project manager Glen and sales rep Dan were a pleasure to work with and extremely HONORABLE throughout the entire process. They assured us everything would be cleaned up (as this is a messy project) and true to their word they made a big project go smooth! I am not one to do reviews for the mere sake of being busy but this company is equivalent to the “Last of the Mohicans”…a unicorn in todays world. It is well WORTH the time to get an estimate! We can’t say enough good about the company , owners, and management!

The presentation was honest, direct, professional and within the expected price range. The process for applying the roof and quality they guarantee of the work has held up thus far. We live in a state with full winters and rains often and thus far the roof is doing its job. my landscape did not react very well to the roof installation however I was provided a credit to address that. So far we are very happy with the roof. We also got our gutter repaired and that was quick and done well.

I had a terrible experience dealing with multiple other roofing companies when a storm damaged my roof so severely it needed to be entirely replaced - with the exception of Yellowfin, which has been excellent throughout the entire process and did a great job replacing my roof.

Yellowfin was out to inspect nearly immediately after I called, tarped my roof the next day (unlike other companies they include this in the cost of roof replacement and manage to do it correctly) worked with me on the deposit so as not to exceed my insurance deductible, and inspected my neighbors’ roofs too so we could notify the community association that tarps were needed on multiple units even though THEIR selected roofing company had already been out and should have known. Marc is very responsive, friendly, and strikes me as trustworthy and honest. Fair quotes were provided directly to home owners very quickly / with no regard for whether insurance companies would be covering damage or not, unlike other companies who want to milk insurance companies for every penny they can get.

There was one small issue with my gutter the day after the roof was replaced and Yellowfin sent someone out the next day - and once again identified an issue with how another roofer had “tarped” other units with incorrect materials which had already torn, even though those units were not their clients. They also offered a multi-unit discount even though the price was excellent and fair, the service was excellent, the responsiveness was excellent, my roof was replaced quickly, their warranties are unmatchable, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement.

Unlike companies simply out to price gouge and milk insurance companies for money, this company cares about people and providing great services at extremely fair prices, regardless of whether insurance is involved or not. We need more like Yellowfin.

I interviewed five companies before I decided to go with Yellowfin. I found Dan Stedman to be polite, informed and non aggressive with his salesmanship. If he did not have an answer, he would research and get back to me within 24 hours. He also followed-up after the work was completed. The crew were polite and hardworking. Office staff would promptly return my emails when sent. This is saying a lot in this day and age. After this project was completed, neighbors came by (even from around the block) and commented on what a great job and how hard the crew worked. I can highly recommend Yellowfin.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. They replaced my roof with top shelf materials, excellent craftmanship, courteous workers, and awesome clean up. Recent heavy rains resulted in leakage through the top of one of our 1st floor living room windows. We contacted Yellowfin and they came and assessed the situation. Sealing the window effectively was a must. Hugo and Art, the guys who did the work yesterday, did a thorough job of getting the window sealed. They returned with materials needed to replace the angled downspout coming from the soffit of the main roof above. The videos we had shared during heavy rains showed leakage through the soffit. Committed to getting it right they removed the old and replaced with new, correcting the connection to the pole gutter above. They sealed it all and wrapped up. Last night it rained extremely hard again. The living room was dry and the water came down through the new downspout and flowed out off the porch roof. It worked perfectly. Thanks Hugo and Art!
