What people say about “Yellowfin Roofing”?
Customer feedback for Yellowfin Roofing is decidedly mixed, with significant criticism focused on workmanship and reliability. One reviewer detailed multiple failures of their roof replacement, citing ongoing leaks despite warranty claims, which raises concerns about the company's quality control. On the other hand, numerous customers praised the company for their professionalism, clear communication, and efficient service during roofing projects. Yellowfin Roofing has the worst workmanship of any company with which I have done business. Ever. Four years ago, they replaced an old roof on my house. Their replacement has failed three times. It was patched once and replaced twice, and it still leaks. The roof is under warranty, but the warranty is useless if Yellowfin can't make the roof watertight after three failures in four years. Tomorrow, the roof -- which is leaking in a new spot -- will be patched yet again. On Friday, I will replace all of the damaged ceiling drywall and insulation at my own expense. I asked Yellowfin to reimburse me for repairing the interior damage, and the company said it wouldn't. It would send its own work crew to fix the damage, the company said. Two problems with that: First, I would never have known that the Yellowfin warranty included interior repairs if I hadn't asked. Nobody ever informed me that was a possibility, and I paid for all of the internal repairs the last three times the roof leaked. Second, I'm planning to sell the house soon. I need a watertight roof and a clean interior by Monday. Yellowfin says it will schedule an interior repair at some date in the near future. Nothing specific, and nothing this week. It's probably just as well that I'm paying for the interior repairs. My crew will get it right the first time, and Yellowfin's crews didn't get it right the first time, the second or the third. Don't let Yellowfin anywhere near your roof. These people are incompetent. Oh ... and don't get angry over the phone with Dan Stedman (who runs marketing and operations from Phoenix, AZ for a company with Delaware Valley customers). And don't say you'll sue in order to make yourself whole. He'll cancel any repairs and threaten not to honor the warranty. He also won't tell you who owns the company ("It's none of your business!'), which is suspicious. According to public records, the company is owned by a guy named Daniel Parncutt. Bottom line: Yellowfin is more concerned about what customers say when they're frustrated than it is about not making customers frustrated in the first place.
Jag roofing company and crew members were wonderful people. They provided great roofing service, cleaned property, very knowledgeable and friendly. Courteous service highly recommended. Thanks A.O.
Had a new roof put on. Bob came to our house and explained all of our options. The 17 person work crew showed up on time and immediately went to work. A project manager answered any questions we had. They finished the roof in one day. It looks great. We are very satisfied and would recommend Morse to anyone needing a new roof.
