We have used JR Walker Roofing several times. They replaced a flat top porch roof and this December they replaced our shingle roof that included 2 small flat roofs, lots of eves, and metal trim. They did a wonderful job - They were prompt, efficient, thorough and they cleaned up the property when finished. They were very detailed in finding and fixing small issues as they worked. 100% pleased with JR Walker Roofing! Three companies were highly recommended to us. Prices were all comperable. JR Walker was the only one that came out when they said that they would, were timely sending the estimate, promply scheduled a date to start the project and followed through with everything. Taking pictures of everything they even pointed out a large crack in the chimney that no one else had mentioned. They were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Everything was very smooth from beginning to end. Highly recommend!

From the first email I knew I was dealing with a professional. I got a no nonsense quote after a speedy site vist to evaluate my roof. Not only did Jesse take care of the roof, his company also fixed my chimney which was damaged and removed several old satellite dishes that the previous owner had installed. When I was ready to book the service the entire process was done within a week. Can't say enough good things.

Seriously could not be happier with Jesse and his work! I called him in the middle of the night on a Sunday when our roof sprung a leak during a storm. He called me back within six minutes to schedule to come check things out the next day. He sent photos and explained what he thought the problem was and discouraged us from doing unnecessary overkill work to our roof and instead fix a few problems that we knew were on our list to eventually tackle anyway. He sent over a detailed estimate, had great communication throughout the process, communicated rain delays ahead of time, and did thorough and quick work. As new home owners of an old house, we’ve been on a steep learning curve but Jesse made this process so easy. We’re so grateful!

Jesse came out and quickly identified why we were having a leak from our roof. He fixed it on the spot. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, very experienced and tremendously helpful. I plan on using him again and I would highly recommend him to others.

Bought a house last year. The roof was replaced by Jesse in November of 2017. We found out while having some other repairs done that the roof was in bad shape. Holes in the plywood. Buckling in a few areas. I had Jesse come out to take a look. See what he could do. He was extremely unprofessional. Told me that he didn't deal with me and the job was signed for and he wouldn't back his work. All the photos of his work are from the outside. People go check your attic and make sure the job was done right.

JR Walker Roofing was the best experience we’ve had in ages with any kind of vendor or service. I had no idea I would actually take the time to review a roofing company but this company is next level awesome. The work was amazingly professional, they cleaned everything perfectly, had ultra modern tools, worked fast and blew us away by what a good job they did. "If it sounds to good to be true it is" this is so true I live my life by this saying until week of hell having 3 roofers from home advisers come to our Delaware home and give us extremely high estimates, and my own cousin tried to fast talk me. Finally frustrated I was telling my neighbor how bad all these roofers are back stabbing business. He recommended J.R Walker roofing whom is owned by Jesse Walker and he done a great job for him. Sceptical I was but I contacted Jesse and didn't even see him but got a price for a top of the line roof thousands cheaper than any roofer, cant be. Spoke with Danika from J.R Roofing and explained how frustrating I was with all the other roofers in Delaware and how Jesse's prices are great and she explained to me how he is a hands on owner, roofer, salesman , and he has a great crew. Well I am Jesse's biggest fan, him and his team gave me and my family a great roof. He is honest will give you a great deal. My wife treated his team to lunch and plenty of water because she was so happy. I want to also say His Forman Dominic was awesome and efficient . If you want a good, honest, and trustworthy roofer then give J.R roofing and have Jesse make your dreams come true.

J.R. Walker Roofing put a new roof on my house May of 2019. It was done in one day. The workers were skilled, friendly and polite. The job was well done. Jesse answered my many questions during the estimate, during the work, and afterward. He and Danica in the office were very patient. Their follow up was terrific, they really went the xtra mile. I have to say I shared the post job photos, done with a drone, with my family because they were so impressive. Bottom line, I felt taken care of. Would recommend them as good people to work with for your roofing needs.

I strongly recommend Jessie as a roofer. He's very responsive, candid with what does and doesn't need to be done, and his guys keep the house/workplace clean once the job starts.

I had an issue with one of their drivers (not related to a roofing job) and they called me back the next day and apologized and explained how they dealt with it. I appreciate the thought and care that they took in dealing with the situation.

Jesse and his crew did a fantastic job on the replacement of siding, windows, gutters and fascia on our home. This is the second time i have used his services. The reason I returned was because It was necessary to call him back to the original job to check a problem ( which ended up not being related to his work) . He returned until the problem resolved. It is not often that a company will return after they have your money. I strongly recommend Jesse Walkers Services to my friends and neighbors.

Recently read all of these wonderful reviews and was sure they were going to be with winners when I asked for quotes. They were the second to come out and look at my roof. I made it clear in the email what I wanted - a complete redo - the roof, flashing, trim - everything - Danika said no problem. We had 2 leaks in the roof and one on the porch. They had someone out in a week - it took another week to get the quote. The paperwork did not list anything around the porch, trim, a complete redoing of the roof or replacement of the gutters. It was a roof tune up for my townhome 1100 sq ft $4500 - about what my neighbor paid for his whole new roof - not bad considering my pitch is much worse but not what I asked for. When I brought this up in my reply email I was told "We truly appreciate you considering us for the work that you need on your home. However, we do not feel that we will be able to dedicate ourselves to providing the level of service that you need at this time.
We are still a very small business and we have recently been inundated with a large number of new clients and are it would be some time before we could begin any work on your home.

I wish you the very best with finding a contractor who will be able to take on your project in a more timely manner!" I don't even know what the hell that means - I asked for a new roof, trim because the wood is rotting and there are holes and I get basically told get lost.

Very pleased with J.R. Walker's complete team. I contracted them for a full flat roof replacement and I'm happy I chose them. They do good work and I'm happy my roof will be in good shape for years to come. However, my primary reason posting a review and my pleasure was the communication during the entire project. Delays are going to happen when your project is weather related and this company keep us informed throughout the process. Good communication is always a sign of a good company. I hope I don't need you for a while but in the meantime I'll recommend you to my friends. Thank you.

I did not know it was possible to be this happy with a roofer, but I am beyond happy with my choice to do business with J.R. Walker Roofing. I had a small leak happening so Jesse’s team came out and checked it out and decided it needed to be resealed. I have a flat roof, and these things happen. A week or 2 after the work was done, a water spot formed downstairs in my ceiling and I called them right away. They came out as soon as it stopped raining to check it out and fix it. They found out the problem was not my roof, but on my neighbors, so there’s nothing they could do, right? Wrong, they worked out a deal to help us get my neighbors roof fixed immediately so that the problem would not get worse over the next 3 days of rain we are expecting

I have no patience for dealing with home related problems, and I try to find companies that care about their reputation and the quality of their work for this exact reason. I’m sure I could have had it done cheaper, but no cheap labor is going to care enough to go as far above and beyond as Jesse and his team have. They are now solid on my holiday gift list and the only people I will call for roof problems.

Excellent work and quality materials! Because I have a low slope flat roof and needed a complete tear off, I research extensively and received several proposals. Because the roof protects everything within the house itself, I was considering not only cost, but also material quality and company reputation. I was by far, most comfortable with J. R. Walker Roofing. In addition to replacing my roof, Jesse’s team replaced slates on bay windows and woodwork that rotted because it had been poorly installed by a previous contractor who did shoddy work. Jesse’s proposal clearly outlined the scope of work and materials and he kept me updated throughout the process. Jesse and his entire team were very friendly and clearly took pride in the quality of their work. I could not be happier with my decision to use J.R. I recently had J.R. Walker Roofing replace siding on the back of my house that was old and starting to rot.
