Every communication and on site visit I had with them was great, all the way from original phone conversation, to the site visit, all the way to Jackson and his crew performing the work. Wright Choice Construction was the best choice we made during our home build process. Building a home can be scary. You invest a tremendous amount of time, money, and stress into every decision you make. My wife and I are not the typical buyer. We wanted to be heavily involved in the build, we had tons of questions, and we wanted to feel like we were part of a team during the entire home building process. We loved everything about working with Wright Choice. Out of the gate, Tim Wright spent considerable time answering our questions, giving advice, and helping us plan our future dream home design. We never had an issue getting ahold of Tim. Tim met us at the site on several occasions, helped plan the best location for the home on the lot, helped us navigate several unforeseen pitfalls, and spent hours on the phone with us. We knew we were in the right place after our initial phone call with Tim. He made us feel special and excited. Once the build began, we started to work with our personal build rep, John Wright, who is just as incredible as his dad. John is a treasure trove of knowledge, he is incredibly hardworking and is extremely responsive to questions. Even now, years after the build, when I send John a text with a random question, I generally receive a response in a matter of minutes. John is exactly what you would hope for when working with a home builder. In the end, the home turned out beautiful. We got everything we asked for and we feel completely confident that we made the best choice by picking up the phone and calling Wright Choice Construction.

Not only have I worked for Daniel and his team, they also built out and finished a two car garage into a master suite for me. It was John who took the time and got the work done with professionalism and craftsmanship. I can’t stress enough how important it is to pick the “Wright” builders to help you accomplish your goals. These gents are top notch!

From the moment we met with Daniel and Tim, we knew that this was going to be a good fit. One of the many things we discussed were their values. Which includes honesty, integrity, and quality. Throughout our build, not only did everyone on their team uphold these values, but they surpassed all expectations.

Our project manager was John. We could not have been more pleased with him. His attention to detail is incredible. The man is a perfectionist and can see a flaw from a mile away. There were several times throughout the build that he would see something that we probably never would have noticed, but he would point it out and say it wasn’t right and that they would take care of it. He was able to build our forever home with superior craftsmanship and nothing we asked them to do was impossible.

Communication with their team was always simple, quick, and unmatched. Whether it was a quick text, call, or email. Everyone from the field crew to John, to Madison in the office, they were on it.

Apart from the quality and thoroughness, John, Daniel, and frankly everyone on their teams are just the sort of people that you want to hang out with. They are personable, entertaining, and just downright fun. So not only did we get an amazing house out of this process, but we got new friends as well.

From beginning to end, with Wright Choice Construction, you are going to get a whole different experience than you will with other contractors. When they say they are a Christian business, they mean it. They live by the standards that they set out. We never saw anyone on their team drinking, smoking, or cursing like sailor. In fact, over lunch one day, my wife saw the workers get together and pray over their lunches. So cool.

We have heard horror stories and how building a house can be so stressful, but that is the total opposite of our experience. Although building a home takes time and effort, with WCC, it truly was a joy and honestly quite fun. So If you want true, and honest contractors that do an incredible job, there is no one that you will want to work with other than Wright Choice Construction.

Every single person in the Wright Choice Construction crew was more than amazing to work with. Josh, Daniel, Laura, John, Christian… I could go on and on. They all far exceeded our expectations of what a custom home builder does, and should do, when turning our dream into a reality.

Daniel runs his company based on high morals, steadfast integrity, and complete professionalism. They won’t cut corners, stick you with surprise costs, or pressure you into decisions. With absolute transparency from day 1, Wright Choice provided us with a service that is unmatched by any of their other competitors.

We even left another builder at the beginning of our journey because the other builder would go weeks and months before responding to emails/calls and even gave us a phony invoice that was significantly less than the build of the home would have cost (their invoice quoted us for windows throughout the house that were not even up to fire code). The other builder had the mentality of reeling us in with a lower price quote and then planned on sticking us with thousands of dollars of overages when the price came out above what our loan was approved for.

I will be recommending Wright Choice to friends, family, and anyone in the market for a custom home. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for my family and I. We have our dream home that will undoubtedly stand the test of time.

Building a home is probably one of the most important and expensive decisions you will make. We chose Wright Choice after several recommendations from people in the Bedford area. We had spoken to several other builders but they all tried to lead us towards more expensive homes not in our price range. Wright Choice was given a price we were comfortable with and presented a plan that met our needs in our price range. We found them very easy to work with and we feel that we received a well built home. We would recommend Wright Choice without hesitation.

This contractor is not a man of his word. I'm a neighbor of a house being built on my road and countless calls to him asking him not to trespass on my land to get to his job site has failed. I spend thousands of dollars in stone and regularly grading only to have him and his crew cut across my land and not care. They recently tore up the road and even though they were notified, it still hasnt been fixed. Even NO TRESS PASSING signs don't work. He's only focused on getting a paycheck for his project and not respecting people's property and their hard work and money invested.

John and Daniel were great to work with throughout the building process of our custom built home!! Easy to communicate with throughout the process and answered any questions we had. We could not be happier with the outcome. They handled everything from excavation through the finishing touches.

We had a vision at Liberty High School: build a brand new soccer clubhouse. Wright Choice Construction helped turn this vision into a reality. We met with several contractors, but none stood out like Wright Choice. From the start, they were excited and engaged in our thought process. From breaking ground in November, to completion in February, they were professional and diligent. Our boys and girls soccer teams were able to use the newly constructed "soccer barn" throughout our 2024 spring season. Phenomenal company! Doing major renovations can be a scary thing but working with Wright Choice Construction was a wonderful experience! They improved our floor plan, maximized the space & layout of our kitchen, and created a large, much-needed storage room, plus painted everything & installed new flooring in just under 3 weeks!! They paid close attention to every detail, kept everything incredibly neat & clean while renovating, & finished early & under budget. They are true professionals with a strong work ethic who serve their customers with excellence! Why go anywhere else??

I hired Wright Choice Construction to help with my roof trusses. They were able to get them installed in a timely manner. Working with Daniel on this project and the delays because of the truss company, he was very understanding and accommodating; the customer service was appreciated. It took his guys about a day to set the trusses and deck the roof. Once the guys were finished, I went out to pick up the scrap wood they piled up next to the job and was drawn aback to find multiple empty beer cans littered near the site and an empty 12 pack case. I do not know if drinking while working is common practice but do find it very unprofessional and unsafe. I did not appreciate seeing that his guys were drinking while working. If one of those guys fell off the roof because he had too much to drink and really got hurt, it could have come back on me. I am let down by their actions and poor judgment.

Wright Choice Construction did an amazing job with our kitchen renovation. They were patient and knowledgeable through the processes of planning, designing, and executing. They really listened to our vision and did a great job of communicating with us along the way. They were very proficient with moving the plumbing and electrical as well as removing walls. We appreciate their attention to detail and the focus they placed on the finishes such as trim, cabinetry, and flooring. The process moved along in a timely manner and was consistent with their price estimate. We love our final product and highly recommend them for any home renovation.

My husband and I reached out to WCC for an estimate on work we wanted to get done. We specifically asked about extended an existing deck and building a new garage. We had some major challenges to overcome with both of these and so we were skeptical we could accomplish our goals.

When Daniel arrived we explained what our situation was and what our goals are. He immediately understood the challenges we were trying to resolved as well as the desired end results. I have never felt so well understood before.

After the intro Daniel walked around the property with us and helped us understand what could be done and how they could address other issues with our property he had noticed at the same time, while the equipment was on site anyway, saving us money overall. He even guided us on how we could fix some issues ourselves, saving us money we would have gladly spent to have someone else do the work.

To top things off, our cat wasn't afraid of Daniel at all and he's afraid of everyone. This might sound like an inconsequential thing to add to a review, but we would be living here through the construction and it's invaluable to know that our cats wouldn't be traumatized the entire time.

We haven't started on the projects yet, but when we do I know we will be just as happy as with the estimate meeting and process.

Wright Choice just completed a master bedroom addition to our home. We are very pleased with our bedroom and their workmanship! They did high quality work for a fair price and they completed the job quickly. Daniel looked at our original plan, made suggestions for changes that we went with that made our master bedroom and bath much more functional! We had a home designed and built by Wright Choice and it is beautiful. It's exactly what we wanted and was built within a reasonable time frame. They were very helpful in making choices and guiding us through the process. The end of the building process didn't run as smoothly as expected due to some things that needed to be fixed before moving in. However, overall they did a fantastic job and we love our new home.

Wright Choice was the Best choice we made to get our custom dream home. We brought plans from a modular style and they helped tweak them to the most efficient, most fly version that we didn't know would be possible. They would do what we wanted but went above and beyond with suggestions that produced such remarkable results we are so grateful for. For example. Our deck boards are on the diagonal (so interesting and classy), our 12x12 peaked ceiling has stained tongue-in-groove boards instead of drywall (which would eventually show cracks due to the stresses of that much ceiling -the Wind!) It looks so amazing now and yet it wasn't even planned. Thank goodness they spoke up with options. They worked with purpose, skill and professionalism. We appreciated their attention to detail and pleasant manner. It is Extremely Rare to come across such a crew. They weren't all brothers but their camaraderie felt familial. They acted responsible to the unit and respectful of the house project. For instance, when other contractor crews came out to do their part, we'd inevitably have to pick up lunch trash or gum. Never the Wrights! We enjoyed the experience to the end and can only Highly Recommend them to anyone needing a house built or project undertaken. Wonderful people!

Wright Choice built a new bathroom in our basement. We had a very positive experience. The quality of their work is excellent but the thing that impressed me the most was the communication. They showed up when they said they would. They called and texted to talk about any issues in a timely manner. It was easy to contact them with our questions. We have never experienced that level of communication in any previous construction project. I highly recommend Wright Choice.

Wright Choice Construction built our new home. They really worked with me in the beginning when drawing up floors plans, etc. We really enjoyed working with Josh, Jordan, John and Daniel. They are such great, down to earth, guys! They are hard workers and very quick. I enjoyed having them at my house and they didn’t mind me stopping by daily! Highly recommend getting Josh and Jordan to be the ones at your house! It would help with confusion and communication if Josh also organized all the other contracted workers to each house, rather than the dad, Tim.
We tried to do some of the work ourselves which they allowed us to do although, we could have used more notice when it was our turn to do the parts we were doing.
They started their part of construction in October 2021and finished beginning on April 2022. The “allowances” were pretty low in each area and we ended up paying a lot more than our contract stated.
Our house is perfect and I am so happy with the outcome!

I just want to say what an awesome job the guys at wright choice construction did with replacing our back deck. They completely took down our old deck and replaced it with a new larger one. This was all done in less than 4 full days. The quality of work they do cannot be matched. They were very nice to work with and I cannot say enough good things about them. I am glad I will be able to enjoy my new deck just in time for summer!

I’ve worked with Daniel and his crew now for a few years , as a vendor/ contractor and as a customer. They have always provided a great experience when came time for us to do work on their jobs , something , I can say usually doesn’t happen with a lot of other customers we work for. Quality is 2nd to none, I travel all over central Virginia working for homeowners and contractors alike and can honestly say their jobs are better built , cleaner and more organized than most others .

My wife and I can’t say enough good things about this crew. Excellent work and a very sturdy deck that will outlast me. You can tell these guys take pride in their work and craftsmanship. I’ve already told family and friends if you stop by don’t bother knocking on the front door, just come around back because that’s where you’ll find us enjoying our new deck. They do not make them like Wright Choice Construction nowadays. Daniel and his crew have always been professional and take pride in their work. I needed Daniel to fix siding that he did not even install and he was more than happy to assist. They also added ship lap and back splash in our kitchen and did a phenomenal job!

My husband and I hired WCC to renovate 2 barns -- roof replacement on one barn, and re-siding another barn and finishing off an interior office space within this same barn. Daniel was able to fit our smallish jobs in between his larger projects in a timely manner, and he was great about communicating and answering our questions. The crew provided quality workmanship. I hope to be able to get WCC back if we have more projects.
