Had Woods Roofing replace shingles and gutters last fall. Great communication and company to deal with. Had a little ripple in the flashing that the project manager noticed he had someone come back out the next day and fixed it. Highly recommend!

New to the area we had lots of choices, so thankfully we asked around for recommendations, and Woods Roofing came up again and again. Having worked in the construction industry for over 35 years in the Pacific Northwest - I have a pretty high standard. I can say from start to finish, Matt, Ryan, Tom, and Chad were fantastic.

What was so fantastic? First of all of the communication; a big job (roof, gutters and screens) it takes a lot of coordination with billing, insurance, delivery of materials, and the labor. We were always aware of the schedule and what was next and if something changed everyone was on the same sheet of music. It’s also a family run business and with that comes a lot of extra pride and care for you the customer versus some of these bigger outfits that sub everything out. The boss (Dad) even came out and asked how they were doing and checked the crews work. Pride in ownership!

Woods Roofing absolutely hit a grand slam with us and I can say that you will have zero regrets when you hire them for your project.

Woods Roofing reroofed our home. They also replaced a skylight and put new flashings around the chimney and other skylights. They did an amazing job. We love the look of our new roof. They are an excellent company starting with the owners. The rest of the company crew also are outstanding. Matt helped initially, then Preston followed as our project supervisor. They both couldn’t have been more professional or great to work with as a home owner. The crew was excellent also. Worked very hard. Also the care taken to clean up every day and at the end of the project was exceptional. We were very happy with Woods roofing and their great staff! We highly recommend them and would never use anyone else.

They were quick to respond, and sent out a nice estimator. The only problem is he didn't provide us any details into what was going on with our roof. The person showed up, took a few pictures, and when asked what we needed, he said he'd come back after he uses "Eagle Eye". He returned a week later with a binder of photos of our house. No context to the photos, just trying to sell me a new roof with no pictures of anything wrong with it.

I had an estimator come from another business and said he could just patch things up for a couple hundred bucks.

Woods seems like a good place to go with if you're sure you need a new roof. But I'm not so sure they are useful for solving small problems with your roof.

Love the job that Woods roofing did, 13 hours start to finish. I just wish their website celebrated the diversity of their employees. Such hard workers!!!

Woods roofing helped us relaxed our roof after hail damage, they took the hassle out of dealing with insurance agents and helped make sure we got our roof replaced, they did a great job and kept the work place clean and appropriate for our family.

Woods installed a new roof over our house and garage this summer. They also repaired facia and installed new gutters. Our historic house is 2.5 stories with a really steep-pitched roof. It previously had inferior gutters, causing water in the basement, and rotting crown molding that let bats infest our attic. Their crew was not intimidated and completed the entire house according to schedule, solved all the roof-related issues, and were professional throughout the whole process.

We chose to work with Woods after getting bids from two other Sioux Falls contractors. We worked through insurance proceeds, which requires additional patience and persistence. Again, Woods was not intimidated. They have experience with the insurance claims process and put in extra work to satisfy both our expectations as customers and the demands of the insurance adjusters.

Another reason we chose Woods is that they only employ their own crews to do the work, unlike other big roofing companies who hire sub-contractors to meet demand. This allows them to have more control over the quality of work, and to keep their crews working year-round. The foremen who worked on our house, Herin for the roof and Israel for the gutters (if I remember their names right) have decades of experience and have worked with Woods for a good portion of their careers. They were courteous and communicated with us regularly throughout the job.

We highly recommend Woods Roofing for experienced quality work, and even more for the attention of a small business.
