Wilson's RV & Park

The ease to get here was nice but not having anyone here to greet was not. At least the email had my site number. But no code for the bathroom. The email mentioned check in was at 1pm I got here at 1:35. When I called I got a message that said the office closes @ 1pm on Saturdays. Not having been here before nor knowing the area I felt put out. Long term seems to be in front and my 20 foot was in back along the back fence. The tree in my section (which is at my camper door) appears to be dead, not pleasant to look at. At 40$ a night I sorta expect a bit more welcoming experience.
Oh and I'm not sure charging for use of shower at 40$ site fee is great either, just seems odd. The light on the power boxes are glaring at night and draw bugs big time. I walked to that side and these bugs were flying everywhere and on my camper. And even though there is a rule for dogs to be leashed, etc. there were 2 that were not (which appeared to be folks here longer than a couple nights)
Not sure I'll recommend or be back.

Charge for shower without full hookups which would be okay if restrooms were clean. Overflowing waste baskets. Dead bugs and mice droppings? Grounds were nice although most the trees had died but they look like they are replacing many of them but that means no shade on your rv for now

We just wanted to plug our EV, which we also use an RV, into one of the 50A RV outlets for 20 minutes to make sure we could make it to Twin Falls. We were willing to pay whatever they asked for this privilege. They said they didn’t want to be liable for any problems and refused. So we limped on to Twin Falls at 60 mph on the freeway with our A/C turned off in 100°F temps and barely made it with 1% battery remaining.

Reply to the owner: I know you don’t offer charging services and I wasn’t asking you to bill me for 20 minutes of time. I was asking you to let me occupy a site and pay whatever you wanted so I could make sure my wife and I didn’t end up stranded on the road somewhere. You could have charged me the full rental fee for the site. It’s also interesting that you are giving different reasons now. You told me on the phone that it was all about liability. You had a chance to make a little extra money, but more importantly, you could have had a positive review. If I had made a reservation for a campsite, paid for it, and then shown up with my car, would you have turned me away? Do you have a policy against electric vehicles? Someday soon there will be electric RVs. What will you do then?

The location was convenient. The park had a few tricky spots to navigate to my spot. I have a 36’ fifth wheel. The power quality was fine at the sites where it worked.
I showed up after hours to the site I had reserved. When I showed up there was now voltage at the 30A hookup. I checked it with my volt-meter.
The next site that I checked was a 50A breaker hooked up to a 30A plug which can most definitely cause a fire.

LOVE this campground! We are definitely going to spend serious time here exploring this section of Idaho. The peace and the friendly employees here quickly helped us relax and enjoy the respite. It’s quiet, green, and has charming touches like carved tree trunk eagles and bears and a whimsical pond area. If you have your own portable ‘honey hauler’, there is little disadvantage in not having a sewer connection on your site. The dump station is large and easily accessible.

Adam and staff are very knowledgeable and repaired the refrigerator in our 5th wheel. Very fair price and extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

We stayed overnight on our way heading south for the winter. We were in our new to us Prolite Plus travel trailer. There were a few things that needed repairs, the staff got on it and got it done without any notice or an appointment.
We have already recommended them to other Snowbirds and will continue to do so.

Very nice small park. The park is very clean and well maintained. Sites are pull through with 30 amp and water. Sorry on sewer at site but there is a dump station. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of open areas with very green grass that is mowed well. Only concern we had was there were lots of dead trees that need to come down before one falls on an RV. They sell RV's and also have a good store with lots of RV parts and also fix yours if you need it.

Park is beautiful and prime location for Hotspot destinations in wendell and twin. ( box canyon, ritter island, shoshone falls, etc...) Bill and bri are friendly, and great hosts. Repairs turn out surprisingly well and professional, and the propane is a really good price. Not to mention they have really nice used trailers for sale.

Captain Ahab of Ahab's Adventures stopped by to visit one of the famous muffler men that resides here at the park! This ones uniqueness is seen with the skewer and hotdog he holds. He seems to be in great shape as well!

We stopped for a water heater issue in our Casita. We we were fixed and back on the road in no time. Thanks Wilson RV!

This is a great place to stay! We had a nice site with green grass and a picnic table. There is also a lot of big open grass areas to walk on and walk your pets on. We enjoyed being able to go see all of the attractions near this campground because it is a great central location. We thought the staff were helpful and friendly. It is very convenient having an RV parts store near the camp too! Highly recommend.

Excellent place Great anchor point for seeing the sights. Bill and Briana are very friendly and caring hosts. Very clean And the price is Right !-

They were fast, reasonable, and bent over backwards to help get us back on the road quickly. Would definitely use them again. Cute RV park as well. We didn’t stay there but looked very nice

Friendly staff and a great place to stay. We have stayed here on our trip south every year for three years.

Easily accessible RV park with large pull through spaces, grassy areas and trees. The park has a homey comfortable feel. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The RV parts store is well stocked with lots of gadgets.

One step up from a highway rest stop. For $45.00 I expect a little something better. Oh, that $45.00 doesn't get you a shower, that's, of course, extra. Lots of empty spaces but we kept on trucking down the road. As more and more RVs become self sufficient, not in need of electricity, what does a place liked this really have to offer?

When traveling on I-84 we stop at Wilson's. It is convenient off and on, quiet, we'll maintained, great response to phone requests , nice friendly service department , and great hosts. Highly recommend.

My family and I stayed here last weekend and we had so much fun! The grounds are so clean and well maintained. I was worried being that close to the freeway that it would be noisy but is was quite the opposite. Very quiet and peaceful day & night. The sunsets alone were worth the stay! We will DEFINITELY be back sooner than later!

Our rented RV had issues on our road trip so we stopped by here. It was 99 degrees and our AC went out, plus the engine light came on. With three kids, 99 degrees hot, and a 5 hour drive, we either we’re going to sleep here or pass out from heat exhaustion. The two gentlemen in the office helped us turn on our generator and fix our back ac! Thank you for saving us! The camp grounds were clean and if we’re ever in the area again we’d stay here. Thank you!
