Whit Davis Lumber Plus

I've been using Whit Davis for my lumber needs for a long time, I liked the process of driving in the warehouse to pickup the lumber and talk with the employees abit while they/we would work together to make sure I got good quality wood for my projects.
This being said my last visit was not as pleasurable, I placed my order ok but when I came around to go in the warehouse the employees had already pulled my small order of 8 boards, yea I'm just a diy guy, anyways they are sitting there on a forklift outside the warehouse with my order, I'm like we'll ok I'll hope they got me some decent lumber to work with and then they just dumped it on my trailer and left.
I know your thinking what's wrong here why is he only giving 2 stars
Well it's like this for me, I like to see what I'm buying when it comes to lumber and help stacking it on my trailer as I'm getting abit older.
If I wanted to just take what I get id go to another local longtime store.
If I want to pick some of or all of my lumber and load it myself id go to the depot store.
I'm gonna try them one more time because I do like the treated lumber Whidavis has, hopefully customer service will come back, I always used to enjoy spending my hard earned money at a place with oldtime values of customer service and satisfaction.
My key points are, hard earned money spend for quality products and wonderful customer service and satisfaction.
This particular visit didn't make me feel as though I received what I usually expect from Whitdavis.

The + IS service! The people here are friendly & helpful. Very nice selection of interior & exterior items for home, business or play.
