We have a great partnership with Whaley Construction. They are s great asset to have especially when we are facing leaks with our solar installs. We can always depend on them to verify the source of the leak and fix it for us

I worked as a sales representative for Whaley Construction Group for a short period. I’m sharing my experience to help others make informed decisions before working with or hiring this company.

Unfortunately, I was never paid for the jobs I brought in, despite multiple follow-ups. That was frustrating in itself, but what concerned me more were some of the practices I witnessed while I was there.

One of the biggest red flags was seeing the company offer to waive insurance deductibles for homeowners. In Texas, this is illegal under Insurance Code 27.02, which clearly prohibits contractors from offering to waive or cover deductibles as a way to secure business. It’s considered insurance fraud, and while homeowners might not always realize it, they can be held legally responsible too.

I also noticed materials being reused or substituted with lower-quality alternatives on some jobs, without clear disclosure to the homeowners. That kind of lack of transparency just didn’t sit right with me.

Whaley Construction Group is a new company, but in the short time I was there, I saw enough to decide it wasn’t a place I could stand behind. I chose to walk away, and I wouldn’t feel right staying silent about what I saw.

I strongly encourage homeowners, insurance professionals, and potential employees to do thorough research before getting involved with this company.This is simply my honest experience, and I hope it helps others avoid the same issues I faced.

Not thoroughly happy with my overall experience. While there were some positives of working with this group, such as timeliness on getting the roof done and getting the roof itself approved through the insurance, there were multiple negatives such as lack of communication, failure to get gutters and the garage approved for repair (while leaving multiple markings to outline damage without cleaning off) and most importantly, they did not provide the correct shingle color which has left my roof an absolute eye sore. I had high hopes when I initially agreed to work with this company but ultimately I was let down in the long run.

Had a great experience with Vincent who helped me through every part of the process.

My roof replacement was a smooth transition, and I have high praises for the back office as well. They were able to handle my HOA and pulling city permits on my behalf.
