Western Products - Bismarck, ND

We had a great experience with Western Products for our windows and doors. Great quality and professional installation. When there was an error, they went the extra mile to make things right. Everyone was great to work with and we are so happy with our warmer, quieter, more beautiful home!

I would like to commend and recommend Western Products for their superior service (and product) hands down. I am so pleased with this company, and without going overboard, cannot sing their praises enough.

Not only were the installers efficient, they were also professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and produced high quality work. I understand now why this company has high ratings.

It’s becoming increasingly rare to be treated with respect as a customer. I will definitely reach out when it comes time to replace my south-facing windows, and any other work that you provide. I will also recommend you to others.

Whatever you’re doing, keep doing it. Most importantly, reward your installers, (and Brenda, too), for a job well-done!

You saved me from future miserable winters!

Here is a Live update 2/26/2024:
Winter weather is moving in. Temperature significantly dropped. The sound of the wind is muffled, and the temperature inside my home remains regulated. I don’t need the plug-in heater or heated blanket to survive anymore. The wind can blow as fiercely as it wants. I’m comfy. Prior to the installation, I’d probably be cussing right now. These windows are well worth the investment!

Update Part 3 (4/5/2024)
They still screwed up my hardware when they came to replace it (it still wasn’t what I wanted). So, I’ll quite likely have to replace the hardware on my own dime to make it accurate to what I actually wanted in the first place. That’s really my only criticism.
Aside from that inconvenience, my HVAC went out over this last week, and the temp in my home was still comfortable. I didn’t need a heater or a heated blanket to feel comfortable. These are good quality windows!

My advice would be to make sure you know and see ahead of time what you are getting rather than trusting that they know what you need. It’s all in the details.

They started a bit later from our original schedule but once Matt got here he did an outstanding job installing seamless steel siding on our house and 2 garages. He worked diligently from dawn to dusk everyday, working alone for the majority of the project. We are very pleased with the final product and would recommend him on any project that you have. You need more employees like him; detail oriented and precise in accomplishing the project. Would recommend Western and Matt on any job. Barry Olson

The siding installers were amazing! They were respectful, polite and professional! They were very detail oriented and made our house look great! We are very happy with the quality of the product and the quality of the work.

The technician was on time and professional. Reviewed what work being done before starting. Then went over everything prior to departure along with suggestions on what other items needing attention.

I am very happy with the new patio doors. The installers were very professional, friendly and proficient. Definitely would recommend Western Products and the Anderson patio doors.

By far the worst experience imaginable.
We first had western products do our windows and sliding glass doors. This experience was favorable. We decided to have them do our roof, which turned out to be a very bad decision. What should typically take 2 days, took the subcontractor (since western products doesn’t do roof installs) approximately 3 weeks. Our neighbors even made a point to ask us who we used, so they wouldn’t ever use them. Left nails all over the drive way, didn’t pick up their trash, and would come at 5:30 pm and work until 10 pm. Never would I recommend Western Products for a roof job. I’ve spent over 45k with this company, only for the salesman to defer any responsibility. So this was a strong F!

Tod and Cory will get you squared away with the multiple products they offer. Siding, roofing, gutters, and windows. Installation as well. Located in multiple cities including our very own Bismarck North Dakota.

The guys who installed the siding and the other crew who put in our windows did such a fantastic job. The cleaned up before they left each day while working on our home and really went the extra mile. With the nice weather yet this fall, I got to experience how really easy our new windows are to operate, heck, how easy they are to open and close for that matter. The siding color we picked looks so beautiful and our windows glisten! I LOVE IT!!! Western Products did a great job on my roof replacement and gutter replacement. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

WP crew installed 4 exterior entry doors and storm doors. They did a great job and even corrected some pre-existing installation errors from an earlier DIY-er. Always good to go with the pros for this kind of work.

Windows look great, stain matches the rest of our woodwork, installer was courteous, efficient , and knowledgeable. We are very satisfied.

Western Products installed a patio door a couple weeks ago. They ran into a couple of problems with some water damage from the previous door. Instead of just repairing the bad spot, they tore out all of the old stuff and replaced everything with new material. I was very impressed with the quality of their work. They were courteous and efficient and worked as a team. I am very happy with the job they did.

The communication about time of installment was not good . We understand things get behind but we were told end of Sept or October. No one let us know there was a delay; we would not have known about the delay if we had not called.

The guy who installed the window did an amazing job. Unfortunately my window was installed a month later than the date I was given.
I had to keep calling to find out what where the window was and what was going on with it. I really think they’re overpriced also.

Great company, does great work, friendly staff, friendly workers. If you have problems, they'll come back and warranty the work.
