Product is terrific and installers were professional, friendly, and did a fantastic job of cleaning up post-install. I was especially impressed by their attention to detail and made absolutely certain everything was done correctly.

They replaced a sliding glass door that was original to the house when it was built I. 1968! Needless to say, there was plenty to replace and repair to get the install of the new door, perfect.

Western products did an amazing job of siding my home. They started promptly and worked diligently even through some miserable weather. The attention to detail was outstanding. I was consulted and updated frequently as the project evolved. A+ to Western Products and their staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a home improvement project!

The roofers completed the job efficiently in a few days despite needing to work around the rain. They cleaned up the work area thoroughly.

Zack and his crew did an awesome job residing our house. We had a deadline when the project needed to be done, and ended up having lots of rain which pushed the guys back. Zach pulled off many long days and even a holiday weekend to stay true to our deadline!
We absolutely love how everything turned out, we couldn’t be happier. The process from beginning to end was flawless.

Western products installed siding on our new garage to match the white of our existing home. After 5 years the paint began to blister and peel. They have been out to look at it and claim that that particular shade of regular white is not covered with warranty. (Unheard of)They thought possibly someone could use rattle cans to come repaint the house. We have spent thousands of dollars with this company and seem to be a one sided company! They are not honoring the warranty that they claim they have and will not return my calls.
We have had a Bad experience, find a different company that will stand behind their work and product and not just take your money. Don’t pay extra for nothing

Showed up to an appointment to get an estimate. I was 2 minutes late, but whomever was supposed to meet me had already left. Told some others working on another issue they didn't have my contact information. Western Products called me to to set up the appointment, I left them my phone number and email in my initial contact. Drove 30 miles out of town for nothing. Not overly surprised after my call to set up the appointment that they have no communication with each other, but it's still baffling.

We recently contracted with Western Products to re-side our house. The crew worked quickly and produced a beautiful new exterior to our home. They were a pleasure to work with and ensured high-quality results. Thanks for a job well done!

We had windows and a door installed. We love the windows and the installers (Derrick and Jared) were professional and quick. They did an excellent job. We had an issue with the door which Elaine and Anthony took care of immediately. We are very satisfied and would highly recommend them.

All we can say is WOW! Our house looks brand new. We have a 100+ year old house that had stucco siding on it. This was not going to be an easy job, but Brandon and Johnathon, the siding installers, where up for the task. We had several days of below zero weather that really slowed the siding install. But before they could even start the siding, they had to surround the house with wood furring strips to attach the siding. They also had to build out around the doors and windows. Once they got rolling, it was amazing to see the transformation of our house. No more missing stucco, sagging soffit, patchwork done on the stucco. We just cant thank these 2 guys enough. The did such a wonderful job on the siding, soffit and facia.
Then enter Mike and Sam. They came over and installed all new seamless gutters, along with Gutter Gecko gutter screens. They also did a top notch job.
I also have to thank our sales rep Taylor Savageau. With out his help, non of this would have happened. He listened to what we wanted out of the project, helped select the materials and style of siding and suggestions on how to tackle some of the tricky things to get this done.
We feel everyone at Western Products went above and beyond on this project and we could not be happier with the outcome.

I opted to go with Western Products even though other competitors were lower. My decision was based on the history of the company and the many years it's been in business. I had my doubts when the weather got cold with winds that the metal roof project would be scrapped. The crew showed up with a very positive "we can do this" attitude with a lot of smiles. They went to work doing what they do best. I stopped to chat with them for a few minutes asking questions, which became my time for learning more about metal roof instilations, which was most appreciated. Three days later, their part of the roof installation was completed. A few days later the crew came to install the gutters. They too were top notch at doing what they do best. I absolutely love my new black metal roof and have already received compliments on it. I'm very glad I went with Western Products for this project. I would recommend them to everyone. I'm retired and it is a comfort I don't have to be concerned about replacing asphalt shingles again during my life time. The crews cleaned up behind themselves as if they lived here. Couldn't ask for any more from them to be honest. KUDOS to Western Products and their crews!!

I had the roof, shingles and siding replaced. A few issues occurred. The big problem, the siding. I was told 4 times over the last 9 weeks someone would fix the siding problems. Now they say it's okay as is... and don't want to do the work. what the??? Old brown wood siding is acceptable? Would they do this to their own house? Zoom on in if you can. I can't believe the lack of responsibility and customer service.

Brandon did excellent work with the siding on our house. He was friendly and pleasant to work with. The only setback we had was the wrong brick was ordered and the project was delayed longer than expected. Brandon was open in his communication with us and still provided us with exceptional work for our project, despite the delays experienced.

I haven’t even sent them my contract yet but I need to leave a review before I’ve even had the service because these guys are awesome!! I’ve been working with Mike L and he is so nice and so quick with his responses to my questions. When I called their office for an estimate they had Mike at my house the same day. I got other quotes before deciding this was the company I wanted to work with and no one was as quick or great at communicating as these guys. 10/10 on customer service. I can’t wait to have them replace my roof.

I was told Western Products have highest quality and services.

They changed my kitchen patio door.
Paid $11,000 for the one door and one standard room window.

1- Door is defective. Only way door will lock is by using 2 hands and locking it forcefully. Literally an old person could brake their wrist doing it.
2- Door misaligned.
3- I called them multiple times. Nothing is fixed.

They sided my neighbor's house a few weeks ago, and have been back several times since then to fix mistakes, but that's a different story. I have had to deal with their junk in my yard for extended periods of time, which makes it hard to mow. They are too lazy to walk to the street, so they find it necessary to walk across my freshly fertilized lawn to get to their trailers/vehicles. But the worst part is when they blocked my driveway for 4 hours, refusing to move. We called the office many, many times and they kept saying they would have them move. They finally did move, after getting the police involved. Oh, and they are terrible at clean-up; empty soda cans, gloves, nails, pieces of siding and Tyvek, etc. were all over the place. Stay away at all costs.

I own a rugged log house. The frames of the door inside my home are designed like picture frames from Cedar slabs. It was amazing to watch Dale (by himself) remove the screen door, the frame, old door and inside Cedar slabs and replace them with the absolutely gorgeous new door. And it was completed beautifully. I know I am gushing, but it was beyond words. The door is Top Quality and I am pleased to have chosen Western Products to create it and install it. Well worth it.

They never did what their rep., Brady said they were going to do concerning the gutters on our house.
I kept calling their office, leaving messages on their cell phone, and still no call backs. I called the office and asked to speak to the manager of gutters, receptionist transfered me to Al, I told him my issue and he said he would check into it. He never returned my call. I called a week later and left him a message and never called me back.That is very, very, poor customer service. I will never do business with them again and telling others of my experience with Western Steel Products.

Crew that Western Products sent was excellent. They completed the job in one day and I was very happy with the clean up after job completed. They deserve a bonus on my job. Every one I spoke with
at Company was professional. Definitely recommend this Company.

Western products helped us pick out and order swivel rocker patio chairs a few years ago which we've really enjoyed and they've aged well. They also installed a front door for us this year, and we're happy with the door. We did have frustrations with the timeline to start the project this year and with lack of communication from the salesman. Afterward, I had trouble connecting with someone there to discuss our frustrations. I left an honest review here of our experience. Then, two managers called me and took accountability for the issues and made it right. Most of our experience with western was positive and its refreshing to know their management cares when a customer had frustrations. I changed my review from 2 star to 4 star.

Fast and efficient installation of replacement roofing with asphalt shingles on house and detached garage. Cleaned up the site. Highly recommended!

We had all the windows in our home replaced with Renewal by Anderson/Western Products. The installer Dale did an amazing job. Showed up as planed and even worked through a rainy day to get done on time. I will definitely keep them in mind if I need any other projects done!

Western Products replaced my front door and I am very pleased with the finished product. Dale was prompt, professional and paid attention to every detail in the installation. I like the quality of the door and the new hardware. I would definitely use Western Products again.

We had Western Products replace the shingles on our garage. I am impressed! From the callback to my initial inquiry, the communication was respectful and efficient. The crew did a nice job! From start to clean up! They were quick and professional!

New soffits and gutters installed. Soffits work was great. Gutters were another story. Downspouts were crooked, several leaks. Dealing with leaks since installation they have been out several times and still a problem. Were told the last time they would be out to fix in 2-3 weeks and now is almost 2 months.

We ordered windows in the fall of 2022, paid half down, and were promised an early spring installation. They finally committed to June 14, 2023. Well, the day before they called and said it would be postponed longer. Apparently some customers are more important. I cannot review the actual work because it never gets done! To their reply: we ordered the windows 8 months ago. That should be ample time for materials to arrive.

They responded with someone to give a quote the next day after I called. Quote was very specific to the work I wanted done. They performed the work in a timely manner and cleaned everything up after they finished.

Western Products Re-sided our lake cabin. The foreman and primary installer was Mike. They arrived when they said they would, worked consistently, answered all our questions and made sure we were satisfied with their work. Mike even worked on Memorial Day to finish on time! We could not have been happier with the results! It’s like a new cabin! Western’s bid was significantly lower than the other well-known seamless siding company and having used that company in the past, I can say the quality between the two was identical and similarly excellent. I would use Western again without hesitation and highly recommend them!

We had Western Products install Renewal by Anderson windows in our upstairs. They definitely were not the cheapest, but the quality and craftsmanship were worth the price. The sales guy who came out was knowledgeable, and the program he used on his tablet to show us what our windows would like like after the install was pretty awesome. Would definitely recommend!

Wanted quotes for window and deck door replacement so we can budget in advance (about 9-12 months out) since we don't want to finance. Where do I begin with Dan, I'll save you the trouble and just say I found him very curmudgeonly, with a hint of unnecessary sarcasm thrown in, commenting on everything from our dogs to how quiet 'loud' our dishwasher was running. I made it very clear this was budgetary only, he basically ran out of our house when he realized I wasn't going to put a down payment in right away. No thanks!

Arrived promptly as promised. Did an amazing job, finished in one day and completely cleaned up the job site. Very courteous and professional crew. I would gladly recommend Western Products. A class act.

We hired this company for a sliding glass door removal and installation. It took them 6+ months to get to our home for this service. And after it got installed we were missing our sliding screen door. We paid half of the bill and held out on final payment since we were missing our screen door. Another 7+ months go by and we finally get our screen door. During our waiting period we got phone calls every week sometimes up to 3 calls and voicemails each time about the final payment. Highly unprofessional and very unsatisfying service. I strongly recommend using a different company for anyone looking for similar services.

We had a fabulous experience with the team from Western Products. Nathan and Ryan replaced the wood siding on our house with seamless steel siding. From the beginning until completion (about two weeks), the job was performed with efficiency, courtesy, attention to detail, and immense skill. We are exceptionally pleased with the final product and would recommend Nathan and Ryan without hesitation. They are skilled professionals who not only completed the project superbly, but also made numerous recommendations that improved the final product.

With new siding, soffits, and fascia, our house looks better than new. Nathan and Ryan did the details right. We're looking forward to lower maintenance too.

Western Products did an amazing job! They installed a new storm door for us and it's exactly what we wanted. The installer was quick and professional! My wife and I liked how they reached out after the installation to make sure we were happy with the result. I would highly recommend Western Products!

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I went from cleaning out my gutters once a year to water in my basement because they didn't install a downspout, water leaking into the house because they incorrectly installed a corner and now I'm having to clean off the gutter protection because they installed it so there is a bulge on the top and all the leaves and needles from my trees are collecting between the gutter and the roofline. They've been out to the house twice and tell me that everything is OK, but my neighbor who has the same gutter and covers (Installed by someone else) has no issues.

I'd like to update this review and provide a better rating. However, as noted last fall the the build up of material along the roof line (see pictures) didn't allow the gutter caps to function properly. Instead the water flowed along the inside edge and ran off the end of the gutter - on all four corners! We've now had two water issues in our basement because of this. They also attempted to fix the corner but for two weeks we weren't able to use our back steps because of the ice build up from the water dripping from the seams on the gutter.

Like I said I'd really like to upgrade the rating because we've had other projects that went perfectly (and I did rate those accordingly on the Renewal by Anderson page) but after four trips to readjust and redo things it has only gotten worse.

Resided our home. Turned out great. Myron in sales, Elaine in the office, Nathan and Ryan, the installers, were awesome to work with and did an excellent job.

I had facia, soffit and siding done by Western Products. I am very pleased with the attention to detail and the final look. The crew was very respectful of my gardens and communicated with me about progress and needs. I couldn't be happier with the results.

I have had Western Products do work at my house for years. They installed steel siding wrapped all my windows did soffit work also. I have always had a good experience with them . Quality work done on time as promised and their office and job sit crew care about the costumer.

Absolutely fantastic experience with this company. From quoting to finish, everything was explained, followed up with, and was a real joy to work with. The quality of the work and product are top notch. I had an entry door and sidelight replaced and they both look beautiful.

I ordered a storm door the end of April and put down a $420 deposit on my credit card. After them coming out with 2 wrong doors ordered and too numerous calls rescheduling installation with the third door and the installer not showing up on the day it was to be installed I ultimate cancelled the door. Never will I ever use this company again for anything. I’m now dealing with their accounting department trying to get my deposit refund. Tammy doesn’t return my calls or receptionist states they are in a meeting. Jeff one of many who called me stated that he looked at all the notes on my door and admitted that I did not have a good experience at all with them. Never again. Overpriced and the worst customer service ever!!

Update 4/2/24 - While the issue was addressed, we had other issues arise and after inspection. Our whole roof needs to be redone. The crew western products had do our roof didnt address the issues or tell us about the wood and they will not honor the work at all. We got a new quote and a 10% off coupon. Sorry but this company is absolutely horrendous. You couldnt even fix the issue the first time so we are going to pay you more money to do it right when it should have been done this way the 1st time? No thanks, I am sure many other people in the Fargo ND area have the same issue or will find out soon enough.

Again, stay away from this company, poor work, worse support and the management is a joke. All other people in this area, if you found issues after they worked on your home, let us all know about it. I feel a big lawsuit is in order to show that we will not stand by for this type of service.

Updated 10/29 - Our problem finally did get resolved, updated to 4 stars because it took too many times of contacting to finally get it resolved.

I am not sure if this company can be redeemed. Spent a lot of money with this company and they avoid our calls, when I do talk to someone they relay a message to me instaed of talking to me. I even spoke to the manager last time and what happened? No call and no one showed up to fix our shingles yet again.

Stay away from this company at all costs.

Our home looks just like new with the siding done by Western Products and Greg Schonauer. I am sure glad we did that.
