Dave and his team came out to give me an estimate on this small residential job. They were the second contractor I interviewed and I hired them because I could tell they knew their way around an old house. The estimate was very fair and the communication leading up to the workday was great. The team that did the work was really nice, and was efficient in their work and use of time. Really impressive what they could do with my little trainwreck porch base. The photos show the worst corner before and after. Simply awesome. AND they were 100% on estimate. Well done and would definitely recommend.

Restoring and maintaining an 140 year old brick home is daunting and we are very glad we found Western Mass Masons to help us. While it's possible that we could have found someone to do the work a little cheaper, I know this company is the best deal overall. We recently had them point our house's old fieldstone foundation. Their pricing/quotes are fair and reasonable for the scope of the work. Their workers are all skilled, knowledgeable, pleasant, and respectful of your home. Very tidy work site after a complete job.

They fixed a caving in brick wall in our crawl space. They were easy to work with and quickly got us an estimate and got work scheduled way sooner than we expected. The workers were professional and respectful of our property. They kept me updated on their progress as they went and ultimately took less time than I expected. And the wall they fixed looks great. I’m planning to use them again next year to fix another wall.

Dave came out to look at our basement brick pillar that was slowly disintegrating. It supported floor joists above it and performed as it ought to have for a long time, but it was tired. We wanted a lally column to replace the brick. Dave agreed with us and sent a crew to do the job. His team did a textbook-perfect job: they inserted temporary supports to hold up the joists so that they could remove the old brick column, dug down at the foot of the old column to build a solid concrete and rebar footing to support the lally column, and came back after the concrete had set to install the lally column and remove the temporary supports. At the end of the job, they vacuumed up all of the work debris and we were so pleased at their efficiency and timeliness that we gave them cookies to thank them. Now, every time that we go downstairs, we admire their work and smile. We wholeheartedly recommend Western Mass Masons because Dave's communication with us was excellent, the work done was exactly what we needed, and the crew was a pleasure to work with.

Phenomenal job all around from everyone here at Western Mass Masons rebuilding my chimney. The process of getting a quote was very easy, great communication on timing of everything, both crews that came by did a great job, and my roof has a beautiful and sturdy new chimney. Very satisfied with the end product & the price was completely reasonable for high-quality work by professional craftsmen. My old dilapidated bulkhead doors to the basement need to be replaced, and I'll be calling them next year to tackle that project.

This past week the masons from Western Mass Masons tore down and rebuilt the chimney of our home and did a fabulous job. Their crew came when they said they would, were friendly, efficient, and were more than happy to stop and answer any questions we had. The completed brick work is beautifully done. And they took time to clean up all debris associated with the job before they left. We really cannot imagine greater expertise and professionalism than they demonstrated.

Dave quickly responded to my request for an estimate knowing that I needed the work done before I could replace my roof. Called Dave about a leaning chimney stack and needed chimney repointing. This company did a fabulous job and in a timely manner. The workers were great and very professional. I highly recommend them.

We hired them to redo a portion of our garage foundation wall. There where a lot of issues that arose after the existing wall was demoed and excavated. They worked with us and made everything right. Would recommend them if you want quality masonry work done right and a company that stands by their work.

Dave and Western Mass Masons built my backyard fireplace a few years ago. They did a great job and the result is awesome. I recently had them back to build out 2 indoor fireboxes and again, great job, no mess, no drama.

Super happy with how things turned out getting two window wells installed in my basement. Big thanks to Western Mass Masons for all their hard work. Kind of pricey, but this was definitely a get what you pay for kind of thing. Communication was clear and timely all the way through, I had contacted about 6 masons and western Mass was one of the two that got back to me. All of my questions were always answered, everything was explained to me in a way that I understood, and I'm able to make payments as this was a larger project. Always punctual, always friendly. They even let me know when they had made a mistake on something and fixed it immediately and without question. Would absolutely recommend them to someone else for their own project

The person who came to do the quote was friendly and seemed knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Communication with them was fairly quick since I initially submitted a form on their website, and then communication by email after, and they would respond to my emails and questions generally within a day.
I hired them mainly because I had water coming in my basement, so I waited on making a review until we had a few good rainstorms first to see that the job was satisfactory, and I’m happy to say I’ve had no water leaking in again as of this review, given the larger rain storms we’ve had since then.
