I’ll start by saying you should read all the glowing reviews that others have left and you
should believe them. Valley Roofing & Restoration is as exceptional as every reviewer says they are. Tom and Michelle are a great team. There was no sales pitch, just an honest appraisal and estimate of the job at a very fair price.

Despite the rainy spring weather, the job - new house and garage roofs - was completed earlier than we expected and with minimal disruption. The work crew was efficient and skilled. Our extensive flower beds were protected and the cleanup after the roof install was thorough. The roofs look great! I think it’s important to end by saying that it was pleasure communicating with Tom and Michelle. One Sunday afternoon I sent Michelle a text thinking I’d get a response on Monday morning. I got it 15 minutes later. Obviously, I can’t promise you they’re always that prompt, but we were never left to wonder if our communications had been received and read. They’re great people to work with.

This company did a great job with replacing my roof and new gutters too! No complaints here. The estimate was very reasonably priced…ended up being a bit more than expected (which owner had forewarned me could happen in advance) because the plywood underneath my roof was old and rotted out. That wasn’t Valley Roofing’s fault though..I appreciated their honesty. They got it done in the time they said they would. It was a pretty hassle free process with a professional invoice in the end. Owner Tom and his wife Michelle were both super nice and professional throughout the whole process. And now I have a nice new roof for years to come! Thanks Valley Roofing

I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am to have found Valley Roofing and Restoration. I was having some cracking and water spots on one part of my ceiling and wasn’t sure what the issue was since my roof is only 10 years old. Tom came to my house and almost immediately recognized the issue as condensation from lack of roof ventilation.

A month later I had his crew out to do a partial roof replacement on the one section of roof, which included replacing the plywood under the shingles as well as adding venting. When they first took the shingles off, the plywood underneath was still wet from the condensation! I can’t imagine how much worse it could’ve gotten if I ignored the issue.

The new roof looks great and the shingles look pretty much identical to the already existing ones on the rest of the roof. The crew also did a phenomenal job cleaning up afterward!

From scheduling with Michelle (who’s such a gem, thank you for all your help!) to consulting with Tom to seeing the crew’s work, you won’t be able to find a better roofing company. Definitely give them a call, you won’t regret it!

I chose Valley Roofing after interviewing a total of 3 different roofers. Not only were they the best price choice, but they impressed with extensive family roofing experience and 5 star ratings by clients. Valley is a local, non-corporate business run by Tom (the roofing) and Michelle (the administration) and staffed with an amazing crew of very hard workers. Tom thoroughly explained the process, answered all my questions, helped me problem solve several issues I had with my ancient roof, and supervised the job. Michelle was unfailingly responsive and patient with my changing thoughts on the details of the project. In one day I had a new roof with the yard completely clean of roofing debris. I had Valley Roofing come out and replace my garage and shed roof. (been over 20yrs). From the initial consultation through the final inspection, they provided a lot of helpful information, proactively helped set expectations, and were extremely responsive to any questions. When it came time to install our roof, the team worked really hard to get the roof installed carefully and quickly so that it was finished in two days, even despite challenging weather. Our roof looks great, and they did a thorough job of cleaning up after.

Tom and Michelle of Valley Roofing and Restoration (VRR) were amazing to work with. This was a big roofing job with a house, a garage, a porch, and a detached shed. Great experience working with Valley Roofing. My roof would leak when it rained so I reached out to a few companies and went with Valley Roofing. Tom and Michelle were great to work with, very friendly and were always available to answer any questions I had. Long story: The entire process, from estimate to a new roof, was seemless. Communication was great, the crew was there at the time/date projected (to the minute), and the end result was absolute quality. The crew worked like a well-oiled machine; most of the work was done the first day, even with a lot of planking rework required (house is almost 100 years old).

A couple of highlights:
The crew was right on time, everyday, and extremely professional.
The communication, from estimate to scheduling was point-on accurate.
The materials used where high quality.
The price, in comparison to quality, probably can't be beat for this area.
My gutters and gutter guards were reinstalled to how they were originally installed (this is very rare, and I was pleasantly surprised).

Roof work in progress can look like a warzone, but when the crew finished up you wouldn't have even noticed they were there. Great clean up.

Had to postpone because of the weather but when the crew did get here (after two days of rain) they really did a great job and finished a 2500 sq. ft. roof in one day! They did a super job. Cleaned everything up nicely. They really hustled all day long. Well done.

From start to finish Tom and Michelle were great to work with. Tom came out to the site within days of asking for a quote. The job consisted of striping two layers of old shingles and applying new shingles. The quote provided was by far more professional than the other two quotes I received. The satellite print of the roof, work-scope and bill of materials for the job was all in the quote. If you need a roof replacement don’t hesitate to contact them, the crew worked non stop all day and did a great job cleaning up after they finished. Plus a lifetime labor warranty. As I said in the beginning they were great to work with.

We had a metal roof installed on our home in Apr. 2023. Prior to that, Valley Roofing was the only company that visited our property to inspect the old roof and provide a quote (all other roofing companies simply provided virtual quotes). Tom and Michelle were very easy to work with, explaining the tradeoffs in different materials and setting expectations on work schedule (which later turned out to be accurate). The actual install only took one day, and we are very happy with how our roof turned out. I would highly recommend, at the very least, for you to consider Valley Roofing and Restoration for your next project. I am confident that after speaking with them and learning more about their services, you will find they compare favorably to local competitors.

Without any hesitation, my wife and I would work again with Valley Roofing Restoration. Having to get a new roof is typically a stressful situation: financially, logistically, and often emotionally (depending on the circumstances). In our case, we uncovered some potential mold issues that we suspected were caused by the workmanship (insufficient flashing) of the previous owner's roofers. Because several family members are highly sensitive to mold, it was critical that we address this issue immediately.

During the tedious process of calling different roofing companies for quotes, Valley Roofing Restoration owners, Tom and Michelle, were everything we needed to make this stressful decision less stressful. They were prompt, clear, empathetic, and simply answered all of our questions honestly, setting clear expectations without overpromising; it felt like we were dealing with people of integrity, which has not often been our experience when working with contractors. Their quote also happened to be the most cost effective at almost 32% less than the vendor we were initially considering, using the same materials and warrantee. So my wife and I quickly decided to move forward with Valley Roofing Restoration, with the expectation that the work may not get started for another 4+ weeks, pending weather and permits (other vendors were telling us that they might not get us on the schedule until 5-6 months later). Much to our delight, Tom and Michelle were able to commit a crew to start work one week after paying our deposit.

The work was completed on budget and took exactly how long Tom estimated (3 days). On day 1, Tom showed up and introduced us to Ernesto, the project lead and made sure we were all on the same page regarding the many details and concerns we previously shared with Tom and Michelle. Throughout the build, Ernesto was accessible for any questions or concerns I had and was forthright with his explanations. At one point, we had a question about a dryer vent that was potentially impacted by the roof work, and Michelle showed up personally to assuage our concerns and explain the next steps to resolve the issue. The crew was efficient, respectful of our property and our neighbors, and their cleanup was thorough.

In addition to getting our roof replaced, we had the challenge of coordinating the roof work with the availability of the other contractors and inspectors (mold remediation, general contractors, etc.). Not only did Tom and Michelle work with us on this timing, but the crew even removed siding in the affected areas to expedite the mold remediators' assessment, and they worked it out so that Ernesto could put the siding back after the mold remediation was done. We had one moisture concern in the attic come up after the roof was done and again, Tom promptly showed up to inspect the issue. His assessment was that the moisture was caused from the prior roof and that we shouldn't experience any new moisture, but offered to come back if he was incorrect. Since then, we've had multiple rainstorms and confirmed that no new moisture resulted.

Again, with all the stress and money that went into this, my wife and I felt very lucky to have found Valley Roofing Restoration. One of the most important criteria we had in deciding who to use was trustworthiness and accountability; both of which we got from Tom, Michelle, and Ernesto. That they were as well-priced was just the cherry on top. We've already referred them to 2 of our neighbors from our previous neighborhood :)

We found ourselves in need of a new roof this fall, got a wide range of estimates and ended up choosing Valley Roofing and Restoration. Tom and Michelle were excellent to work with. The roof itself looked great upon visual inspection, but me wanting to make sure everything was done right I asked him to walk the roof after installation, and he did it without hesitation! Which put aside any worries I may have had. His work is followed by a Lifetime Warranty which can be passed onto the next homeowner if their info's shared within a certain timeframe per the contract. I was provided the manufacturers warranty for the shingles. All questions and concerns were addressed timely. Communication and customer service is second to none! Very professional business the roof technicians were top-of-the-line. And they left the house better than when they started good product for a reasonable price. Definitely five stars.

Having never needed a new roof before it seemed a bit daunting to me but from the initial visit with the owner Tom Morin we pretty much knew who we would be hiring. His wife Michelle reached out and let us know the scheduled date of install and when the dumpster would arrive. The crew showed up early morning on time and worked in the heat all day, 13 hours to get the job done. With a few last touch ups needed Tom assured me someone would be back to take care of it. I highly recommend Valley Roofing and Restoration when ever it comes time for you to replace or even repair your roof. Great company, quality people. A very honest operation! I was impressed the minute I got the quote. It was very detailed and they did exactly what they said they were going to do, and cared about the work they were doing. The crew was fantastic! No compromises on what you were promised and the final product. And the price was almost half of what some of these crooks out there were quoting, with their salesman type approach full of BS and inaccuracies. Tom's crew showed up on time to rip 4 old layers of flat and replace with rubber. They also replaced a couple shingle porch roofs. Tom's estimate and description of the job took into account the price of any surprises that could arise such as missing or damaged wood. This job from start to finish was organized and effortless to them. Very impressive.

The crew stripped away 3 layers of roof - had to lay all new plywood sheets and worked 12 hours to get it all done in one day. They cleaned up the job site and if the dumpster wasn't in the driveway you wouldn't even know that such major work had been done. I highly recommend Valley Roofing for all your roofing needs.
