One of the best companies to get your roof replaced. They had a site manager making sure everything was looking good and correct!!! Can’t recommend them enough

They are very easy and patient to work with. They showed us the materials and color options that we could pick from. They walked with us through how the process would go. And patient when it came to finishing payments.

This is the second time we've worked with Weathersafe to fix our home after storm damage. Tom A. is a great project manager, took care of us and fought for us when insurance wouldn't cover all the repairs. Tom won!! The attention to detail and cleaning up the mess was outstanding. We will be using Weathersafe and Tom in the future for all outdoor home projects.

Last year Weathersafe did our siding and roof after storm damage. Did a wonderful job and very easy to work with. They now have a handyman service. I can’t say enough good things about Mike. He just installed our front door and went above and beyond on the entire project. Even leaving touch up stain for the future. Highly recommend the new handyman service. Good job!

Tom and his team worked with our insurance company to make sure all repair was covered. I had several special requests to Tom's work crew. One specific request was to clean up all the nails that fell when the old roof was removed. I was quite happy with the cleanup. I appreciated the attention to detail. Our security camera had to be removed and reinstalled before replacing the fascia. Tom's recommended electrician did a great job - he even corrected the previously incorrect installation. This company prefers to do all communications by texts and email for your project.
I strongly advise to anyone engaging this company to not
provide any upfront money for the job they're going to do for you until they send an email committing to the start date. I provided them with a down payment which resulted them doing the work
several months later. However they gave the expectation that the work would start in the coming weeks.
Their reasoning for an upfront payment is to finance the materials for your project. However, this company
has no intention to start you project shortly after you provide the down payment. They're using your down payment to finance their other jobs.
Once the day had been scheduled to do my roof, they sent an email stating the date and that your driveway should be clear of any cars the day before. Being retired I had every intention to move the one car off of the driveway first thing in the morning. Their supplier showed up very early in the morning and decided to drop off the materials on one side of my driveway and the dumpster was put on the other side. I did text the company back to get them to move the materials to the other side of my driveway which they refused to do. As a result I could not back out my truck properly and nicked the frame of the garage. So my advice to this company is stagger the drops where the dumpster
comes first then materials come a day later and are put on the same side as the dumpster where they belong.
I did offer to pay cost only to have them fix the damage and also finish the gutters which they were supposed to do. Now nothing but crickets since the roof is done.
Once they were finished the job, I decided to check for nails using a magnetic roller. The reason being is the last time my roof was done, nails were left behind and punctured the tire in my lawn tractor.
I picked up over 40 nails around the house with a $20 magnetic roller.
This is roofing 101 (and I've roofed professionally before too). Invest in a magnetic roller and ensure all nails are picked up. Given the number of roofs this company does over the course of year, surely they should be able to afford a few magnetic rollers.
Given my experience with this company I would never engage them again and I don't recommend them.

Not many people look forward to the day they have to replace their shingles. 
Particularly in a day and age when it’s hard to trust “facts” let alone someone who just shows up on your door step. So I want to be clear that in no uncertain terms, our experience with Weathersafe has been really GREAT.

Yes, they did stop at our house after they were already on the roof of our neighbor’s. Yes, we were apprehensive at first. BUT… I have to say that Weathersafe won me over very quickly. With professionalism that I would say should be more of a standard in the roofing industry.

From the very first experience with our Weathersafe Representative, Don Letsche, to the crew who worked on our house with respect and courtesy of not just our property, but also our neighbors’.

We had a very complicated situation that I won’t get too into the weeds with but basically, we switched insurance companies after we became concerned about their honesty and integrity. However severe storms occurring in our neighborhood both before and after our switch, made getting our claim settled a test of both patience and persistence.

I can't say enough about Don, but he always seemed willing to go above & beyond. For the full 6 months we fought with the insurance companies, Don advised & demonstrated true empathy, integrity, and wisdom through out the entire process. He never once gave me an impression of impatience or urgency to get things moving. He was always respectably responsive to both texts and emails that had to bounce between us, and our current, and past agents.

It wasn’t until 5 1/2 months before we finally got officially approved to get the roof replaced and we provided Weathersafe a check for our deductible. HOW MANY COMPANIES do you know, who will work almost side by side with you that long before they see a penny?

Don was also more than attentive to details & potential issues that could arise as they worked on our roof. The estimate of cost was very close to our insurance company's estimate Don also advised about the best way to update our roof venting given our structure's limitations and our desire to install solar in the future.

As far as the work done on our roof, the crew was incredible. They were efficient without being reckless. They were thorough and mindful. Whenever I had questions for the job foreman, he provided clear & thorough explanations. The team also made a structural design improvement to the way our roof ridge met our chimney, to avoid water damage, & wear and tear that would have likely been ignored by other teams.

EVEN the driver who delivered the construction dumpster was incredible. We have a VERY narrow driveway that has tall retaining walls on either side... Have you ever watched semi-trucks back into tight parking spots? It was that kind of situation but with about 3in. to spare on either side. The driver & spotter navigated it beautifully without a scratch. When the dumpster was full, the driver made sure the dumpster was covered well.

Yes, we still had two deductibles since the responsibility for the damage was split between the different weather events. HOWEVER without Don & the Weathersafe Team to help us move through the process, I'm pretty sure we would not have had the knowledge of how to proceed & definitely not the confidence to push through. They were also willing to help us with next steps, if both insurance companies didn’t do what was right.

We are incredibly thankful for their professionalism and the quality of their work. I would work with them again in a heartbeat!

This company is top tier with everything; from job expertise, communication, cleaning up after themselves, and everything in between. We started the job late in the fall (immediately after I contacted them) and got delayed by winter. They even checked in with me once a month to assure me they had me on the first opening in the weather. They communicated with the insurance company throughout the job. Would never use anyone else! After a hail claim last summer, I was referred to Tom Allred from WeatherSafe by a friend. Tom did a great job helping guide us through the insanely complicated process of dealing with State Farm. Our roof, siding, and garage doors were ultimately replaced and with many suggestions from Tom to update the house and improve the aesthetics, the house turned out spectacular.

Our project had its ups and downs as 2022 was a very busy year for the industry, but Weathersafe took drastic steps to make sure we were taken care of in the end.

After my home was hit with hail damage in the spring of 2022, my initial insurance claim was denied. After doing some research of various companies, I selected Weathersafe Restoration base on their established name (in business since 1994), lifetime craftsmanship warranty, and reviews. Bill Pooler from Weathersafe Restoration worked diligently with my insurance company over the summer of 2022 to get my roof and gutters repair approved.

My repair work was completed in the fall of 2022. However, upon inspection there were too many visible nails (shiners) by the subcontractor crew. Of course, everyone including myself wishes that their roof was repair correctly the first time. However, the reality is that sometimes subcontractors can screw up. Now, how contractors deal with subcontractor screw ups is what differentiates the good contractors from the bad ones. Bad contractors will just leave you hanging. Weathersafe Restoration is NOT one of them. They did not leave me hanging when I bought up the expose nails to them. They were very professional about addressing it and came out (without hesitation) as many times as I desire/requested, until there were absolutely no more visible nails/shiners. They even sent their field manager for final inspection, and to ensure I was completely satisfied with the final results.

Fast forward to earlier this year (2024), during a winter warm-up, I noticed that one of the skylight window was leaking water. (This is now 18 months after my initial repair work was completed, with all work paid for). I immediately contacted Weathersafe Restoration. Once again, they did not leave me hanging. They sent a crew out the next day to inspect my skylight and caulk the leak as a temporary solution. Thereafter, they came back out to replace the flashing on the skylight as a permanent resolution.

We've all heard horror stories about contractors that just wants to send out subcontractors to get the work done quickly; so they (the contractor) can take your money and leave whatever happens after that up to you, the home owner. Weathersafe Restoration is NOT one of them. They are a trustworthy company that stands behind their work (and lifetime warranty). They always returned my phone calls/texts and/or email same or (latest) next day and have always been professional about addressing my concerns until I'm 100% satisfied. If you're looking for a trustworthy and reliable roof repair contractor, look no further. Weathersafe Restoration is my #1 recommendation.

We didn't know how the whole process of filing an insurance claim worked, luckily, Tom was a pro, and worked with us from start to finish. Put away your fears of having to deal with a shady, storm chasing contractor. From start to finish Bill was incredible! Super knowledgeable and very professional. He handled every detail. I would absolutely recommend them. They did my roof and skylight repair after hail damage. They were very responsive to my issue. They dealt with my insurance company every step of the way and kept me informed.

When my roof had extra underlying damage, which needed additonal approval from insurance, they worked with them until an agreement was worked out that everything was covered.

My skylights brand was discontinued so they had the rough job of fitting a different window into the old, bigger, hole.
The project manager, Dave, was proactive in asking if the new ones were to my liking. When I explained they seemed to be a little off kilter, he came out and inspected them right away and scheduled a crew to come adjust them as soon as possible. They were fixed within a few weeks worth no extra cost to me.
They were great with communication for when work would be done also. The crew that came was fast and respectful. They finished in less than 2 days for my house roof, garage roof and skylights.

Having a roof and siding after a storm and dealing with insurance is a nightmare. Mark Zillmer, Bryan McKenzie and the entire team at Weathersafe made it so easy. Our roof looks great and so does our siding. Communication was never an issue and punctual contractors always cleaned up. I don’t want any more storm damage but not too worried if it happens because I know who to call.

From the very beginning of meeting our project manager Bill P, to the finishes product of our finished fixed deck, I couldn’t recommend this company more. They made it so easy after my new home was severely hit with gold ball size hail and strong winds. The roof check, to signing the papers, to working with our insurance company to finalize funding, and finally the one day complete fix and new roof was made easy with this amazing company. They set up tarps for debris, cleaned up when they were finished, all the while communicating with us on what is happening. They came back the next day to double check the work, took more pictures, and walked us through what had been done and fixed.

I wouldn’t use any other company other than weathersafe. You can trust them with the work, the expediency, and ease they made it for my family. You won’t be disappointed

My mom had terrible ice dams on her house after the ridiculous snow we’ve had this winter in MN (2022-23) that were seeping into her house. They came out the day after she called, (other companies were either not answering their phones or booked out weeks) and they spent time working hard to get her water hooked up to their steamers since her outdoor spigots had frozen. Very unprofessional. I had project manager Tom A. come out for an inspection I agreed to have Weathersafe replace my roof. When my insurance initially said they would cover 60% of a new roof, Tom said he should be able to get if fully covered. But, I never heard from Tom again. And my insurance adjuster never heard from Tom either. I eventually went with a different contractor who was able to get 100% of my roof replaced.

We have nothing but great things to say about Weathersafe. When the storm first rolled through .. it appeared we had no damage. It wasn’t until Blake Willman who took the professional approach from a local company to “have a look” and the rest is history. He took the extra time and effort to make sure all our needs were met. Blake Willman and his team completed the process in a timely matter and our house looks beautiful! We would hands down recommend Weathersafe and Blake Willman to anyone.

We worked with Zach Chamberlain for our roof and siding replacement project. He was very professional and responsive to all of our questions and addressing any concerns we had. Although we had a few minor challenges, overall our experience with the weathersafe team was positive

Radio silence for over a month after we were to hear from them and after we repeatedly left messages. We were told they would write up the contract and get it to us the following week. An additional week later we were told, with apologies, that they could not do the work. This would have been appreciated had we not been left waiting since June.

My orignal experience was a 3 out of 5 stars. My complaint would be communication of the process. We worked with Zach and the first half of communication was great! We just wish he had informed us more about the timeline of when the roof was going to be replaced, we had to msg. him a few times to get updates. There were a few things we had asked Zach to update such as sending notificaitons to my email going forward and for some reason that wasn't updated correctly. Then a refund check error with the spelling of my name, which I had mentioned prior briefly that my name was wasn't spelled correctly. Then when they sent us the second check, they didn't send us a updated itemize sheet of the refunds either, it was just a check written out to us. I wish they would of also sent an updated itemized sheet with it. We had a roof rain cap that was obivously damaged from the hail storm but it wasn't replaced during the replacement of the roof. We had to go up there take photos and have Zach look into it. Zach's operations team did come out a second time to replace the cap. I'm not sure if the cap and the tube was also suppose to be painted? I see some of my neighbors rain cap and tubes painted to look new. I believe they dont' replace the tube but the rain cap and tube should be painted? Again, not sure of this but the neighbors across from us had their roof redone and it looks like they had the same tube and rain cap but it looks new or at least painted to look new? Saw some youtube contractors do that as well. Not sure if WeatherSafe was suppose to do that? Also, after the roof was replaced, there was a buch of items left out on our front door step, the left over supplies/materials. We didn't know how long it was going to be there which was just a bit frustrating, so I had to reach out to Zach. I wish they had told us, "hey these materials will be picked up in a few days." Dumpster was there for 2 days as well, and I didn't know who was going to pick it up, it was left on my driveway. Otherwise, Zach was good with text msgs. and he does reply promptly. Another issue that we had was getting a hold of the main line, we called maybe a few times over the course of working with WeatherSafe and left a few voicemails and no one got back to us from the main office. However after we couldn't get a hold of the office, we had called Zach and he did get back to us. I sent them a referral, my sister in law, and she also had a hard time of getting a hold of the main office line with no return calls. After a few attempts, instead I told her to just text Zach. I wish they had better communication at the main office. At least calling us back and leaving a voicemail.

*Updating post as of 08/19/2022 - Zach reached out us to see if there was anything else he could do to help us after we had left the original review ontop. He had explain some of the issues above in detail and even said he/or the company going forward will work on making things better for their clients. Any company willing to improve is an awesome company! They also take reviews seriously! Giving them an updated 4 out of 5 stars for reaching back out and communicating.

Main house with about a 10/12 pitch, 2 large garages and some smaller out buildings. Some 60 square of surface area. Through out the process, Bill made it super easy by constantly communicating with our insurance company and us until the job was done and everything was taken care of. The work that was completed was high quality and efficient. We are really happy we chose Weathersafe and Bill to get the job done.

Thor Riley was the project manager I worked with. In the last 6 or so years I have worked with 3 separate companies on big projects like this and WeatherSafe, without a doubt, was the easiest and lease stressful. It makes me wish I knew about this company when I replaced my windows years ago. Thor was always quick to respond to calls and messages and was (is) very knowledgeable and helpful. A minor mistake was made when repairing the roof (some boards were knocked out by the crew that are usually removed or something, very minor) and he was very up front about the mistake and the company offered me two options for making it right without me even asking about it. This shows great integrity in the company (I know in a perfect world this should be a given, but sadly in this line of work I have dealt with some real dirt bags in the past). The problem was taken care of very quickly and I am very satisfied. I realize now I am pretty much writing an essay here, so I will end this review with a big, fat recommendation for this company. A+! Thor is an incredible asset to this company.

Jeff Vetter was out and looked over our roof was on time and very though about his inspection. Brought all equipment needed.

Jack Velte came to inspect my roof after my insurance company stated I had to replace it. The customer service Jack provided was amazing! He went above and beyond in inspecting the roof, documenting the condition, and providing a report that my roof did not need to be replaced. He also did some minor fixes (pounding nails, and caulking some holes) while he was up there, and did not charge me for that. When I DO get the point of needing a new roof, I will definitely go with Weathersafe Restoration and Jack. He was very polite, very informative, new his stuff, and went the extra mile to help me. I haven't had customer service this good for a long time.

This company is not reputable, professional or customer friendly. The service and final results were well below what I expected.
I chose the company because they installed gutters on my first house and it turned out well. Also because they do more than just gutters. They deal with roofs and repairing them after damage. That made me think they were reputable but I no longer feel that way.
They start by coming to you house and checking out what you want done and come up with a plan. At that point they want half up front and only accept checks or cash. I didn't realize this and the rep actually followed me to the bank so I could get cash. Several weeks later they finally scheduled me.
The day of two day random looking guys in an unmarked white van showed up and installed my gutters in a very sloppy way. I took pictures and sent then to Weathersafe and they agreed that it was bad.
A few weeks went by without a resolution. I emailed the company and explained my dissatisfaction with everything. They sent someone out. I was given a few options. Remove and replace, or fix the problems. I lost trust in the company and just wanted to be done. I chose to fix the problems.
A professional looking man came and patched things up. There were still some things I didn't like. Some of the screws weren't looking very tight. The man then explained the there were parts of the facia that were soft, like rotting.
My house was built in 1908 and has never had gutters. Weathwesafe specializes in roofs and gutters. I feel like they should have know of the potential problem, inspected the work site or informed me of the issue before completing the job in a sloppy way.
They just wanted the money and didn't care about the final result. I asked to at least get a discount for all the problem. Eventually I was sent an invoice for the full remaining balance which I paid.
Overall, start to finish it was a bad experience. I should have installed them myself. It probably would have turned out better. But I gave 2 stars because the price was decent and they Eventually did the job.

We called Mark from Weathersafe Restoration and made an appointment for him to come out to see if our roof had hail damage from a storm in March of this year. He met with us and discussed what is all involved in the process. Mark was very helpful and helped us with filing our insurance claim,you could tell he knew what he was doing and was very knowledgeable.
The next step was to meet with Dan as he was in charge of going up on our roof to check it out. Dan had determined that yes there was hail damage. Then we had our insurance adjuster out and Dan was here 1/2 hour early to see if we had any questions. Our insurance adjuster found damage to gutters but not enough for our roof to be replaced. So Dan stayed and we went over the information and decided to have a second opinion from our insurance company with a different adjuster come out just to make sure. Dan was not pushing us in any way to try again,it was our decision and with his many years of knowledge in his job -roofing ,we decided why not try one more time. The second time we did get approval for a new roof and partial gutters.
Bryan e-mailed us the week before our roof install and went through the process of what would all take place on install day.
The roofing crew worked very hard and did a fantastic job. They were very respectful to us and our yard and cleaned up everything very well.
We are very pleased with Weathersafe and would definitely recommend them to anyone. We love that they are a local company who really cares.
All the employees are professional and answered all of our questions right away.
No payment beside the deductible was made until we were very satisfied with the end result.

Had a bad hailstorm this past March and Matt at Weathersafe walked us through the process of dealing with the insurance company. Turned out to be rather more involved than I anticipated, but in the end it worked out and we got a new roof. Very pleased with the work, and would not hesitate to call them again.

They replaced my commerical flat roof at my business. Much cheaper than the bigger company's and once I gave them the go ahead to get started they where out the next week working on it. I didn't know much about flat roofs before getting bids on roofs but Jim walked me thru everything they had to do to replace it . He answered all questions and I could tell he had a lot of experience with flat roofs. I highly recommend Weathersafe for a commercial roof.

I'm very happy with the quality of work, and they did a fantastic job of cleaning up. Great company, from start to finish. We needed three buildings roofed and quickly and they came through even going above and beyond painting vent pipes to match the shingle color. Good clean-up, work long hot days to get the job done right. Highly recommend!

Weathersafe Restoration earned a 5-star review not because of what they sold me but because of what they didn’t. I had a small leak and the estimator offered up a few easy fixes that I could do that didn’t require anything beyond a little caulk. I had also had a number of contractors contact me about “a recent hailstorm in the area”, so I asked the estimator to take a look and check for any hail damage. He gave me the thumbs up that my roof was in good condition. I greatly appreciated both the easy suggestions and the honesty. They’ve earned my (future) business.
