Shane, Ray, George and six other members of the team did an excellent job of inspecting and replacing our roof shingles (September 16 -17, 2024). Office manager Keri kept us informed through out the whole project. She provided us with 13 photos of our roof, covering all angles, after the job was done and recommended us to register for PABCO Warranty Registration for a peace of mind.

It is a good deal for us: high quality of work with an affordable price. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs roof shingles replacement.

They used black duct tape on our vents all 3 vents fell and we had black mold . Ruined all our furniture. Maybe they are lazy and cheap or the Mexicans don't understand how to do things right . Still haven't heard back if they are replacing my beds.

EDIT ::: Owner can't find my name because he looked up the wrong name his cheap labor works did a terrible job . This is after we had the mold guy out to do the cleaning after weather guard re did the roof and replaced 27 pieces of plywood.

And I did call the company more then once I was hung up on ignored or put on hold for hours .

So stopped wasting my time with the low life owner and made this review. Make sure your work was done right !!!

I discovered a water leak coming out of my bedroom closet light fixture. We had just experienced a heavy downpour and I knew my roof must be leaking, I feared the roof would need to be replaced. I contacted Weatherguard in the late afternoon and the owner, Bob, showed up the next morning. He showed me the cause of the leak, said my roof was in great condition and he pulled out some fir needles and debris from around a vent. All I needed was to have the roof blown off. I greatly appreciated his quick response and honesty.

Unbelievable...I have a 4,000 sq.ft. house and they almost had it done in one day. My son called me on the phone when they arrived and reported, " Yep, there are ten guys up there"!!!
I really needed that since my OTHER CONTRACTOR just paid himself first.
Weatherguard did a GREAT JOB and each seemed happy to be working!

Have used them on two different projects and they are very good to work with. All their employees are professional and friendly. They are the kind of folks I’d like to sit and have a cup of coffee with, just friendly and great service.

Competed several well-established roofing companies. Weatherguard costs were in line with others. Only Shane took time to fully explain the complete process, all selected materials (and why), and how they would be installed. Weatherguard showed up on-time with a large crew and a porta-potty. Crew was conscientious and hard working. Did the job in a bit over a day for a large roof (I had added a task to insulate parts of the attic). Cleanup was spotless. Roof looks fantastic and I'm confident the job was done right!

Weatherguard Roofing recently replaced roofs on my home, attached garage, large detached shop, two carports and a garden shed. The garden shed and two carports have flat roofs so they required torch down roofing instead of shingles.

I was very happy with Weatherguard's work. They used quality materials and the workers were closely supervised. Time will tell how the roof holds up but I'm optimistic it will be several decades before I'll need another one.

We had our roof replaced along with our skylights and they did a great job from start to finish. They provided an estimate the day they came out for a site visit and Shane took the time to walk me through the estimate. They were very quick, covered everything around the house to prevent damage, and cleaned up exceptionally well. They provided progress updates and pictures. I would highly recommend them!

We purchased our home with a roof that had been installed by Weatherguard three months prior. The material started malfunctioning and Weatherguard honored their warranty with multiple repairs. After several repairs, Weatherguard put on a whole new roof! Great company, crew, and office professional! We recommend them to anyone.

I needed a semi urgent roofing repair done, even though I called during their peak busy season, Weatherguard was able to fit me in and repaired my roof before the rainy season.

Keri at the office was a true pleasure to work with and was flexible with payment options. In summary I could not be more pleased with Weatherguard Roofing and give them my highest recommendation.

Excellent job. Managed to get us in about 2 weeks out instead of waiting for over 2 months for a repair. Cleanup with perfect, crew showed up on time, and got right to work. Fully recommend to anyone with roof needs.

Very satisfied with the overall experience with Weatherguard Roofing. Shane offered a very professional and detailed proposal. The proposal was very competitive with the other 4 proposals received. The crew (awesome bunch) showed up when they said they would. It had snowed, but they took that in stride and went about their work. Their expertise and communication were instrumental when the scope of the job changed, giving me peace of mind knowing that I was being taken care of properly. The new roof looks fantastic. The crew had done what I thought to be a good clean up when the work was done, but they returned (not asked to do so!) a couple days later after the snow melted to do another clean up!!

FAIR, HONEST PROFESSIONALS
As a new customer to this firm, I had called 2-3 others (going down the list – Weatherguard not being exactly alphabetically favored): “not avail”, “no answer”, “out of business”, “only install”. I was pleased to receive a living person answer. They had someone out, across town the next day. They found leaf accumulation damning the flow of water around a kitchen vent. They cleaned that away. Solved the immediate problem. They suggested, for the future, work that might need to be done due to the pitch of the roof, but no pressure, no scare tactics, not even an estimate for the additional work. Their charge was phenomenally modest. These people are fair, honest, professionals, seeking to serve the client first. Richard Faiola, MD

Very shady company. You need to make sure hold their hand through the entire process to make sure they do the job correctly. Trashed my yard, landscaping, caused my attic to be filled with mold and failed to replace my roof per contract. I had to call several times over several months to get them to fix it. The fact they DID the repairs proves they knew they messed up and probably hoped I was too ignorant to notice a bad job.

A couple of years ago, we had a small leak from some faulty attic vents and called a few companies to get quotes. Weatherguard had been highly recommended to us and provided a reasonable quote so we went with them. We never felt pressured to do more than was needed to fix the leak.
Just recently, we had signs of a leak in a different area. We called them again and they were even more wonderful to work with. They had pictures from the last visit and were able to hypothesize what might be wrong, based off of changes we had made to the home. Shane quickly and professionally found the problem and showed us pictures. He was able to fix it right then, with the assurance that it should last until we needed a new roof, a few years down the road.
One of the companies we received a quote from for the first leak, was intent upon us looking into a new roof at that time, saying it wouldn't last much longer back then.

Weatherguard Roofing did an outstanding job on installing a new roof on our house this week. The crew was very professional, arrived at the scheduled time and our roof looks amazing. They took extra care with cleanup around the project and left the yard looking better then when they came. It was a great experience, I highly recommend them!

Best price and they do best work, put tarps down for any nails/debris, they hand nail, and do correct flashing. I am a real estate agent and only use them for top quality work.

We had our shake roof replaced with composition shingles. They had to put plywood sheeting on the entire roof. Their workers did a great job including removing our chimney and replacing a skylight. Only had a couple of ceiling issues which they repaired. Would recommend them for roof replacement. Only issue was with the salesman who did not do a follow up. He did a great job as a salesman however. Keri at the front office was super. Top notch company.

This is by far one of the best roofing and roof cleaning companies in the entire Thurston county area. I will use them every time the need arises. I have read a prior review and feel it is ashamed to see a company that operates with such integrity get hammered on over an unfortunate event. No need to slander

I wish I could give a zero star review. Weatherguard Roofing was recommended to us by our realtor. We had them give us a bid on how much it would cost to clean our tile roof last Fall, when we purchased our home. The inspector told us that the valleys really needed cleaning or we would have water issues. We felt the bid was reasonable if they did everything that was in the contract. We had never had a tile roof before so we depended on them to be the experts and follow the correct protocol. In Sept., they sent a person who was in an unmarked vehicle and really didn't engage with us. It didn't give us a good feeling but we had to assume they were sending a professional who knew how to clean a tile roof. He did not. I won't go into the details but he didn't follow the protocol in the contract. We have tile roofs on most of the homes in our neighborhood and we immediately heard from our neighbors, post process, that he didn't clean the roof correctly. It cost us $1,000 to have that done. Fast forward to December. The rains came and because the the valleys weren't cleaned properly we had water coming into the walls of our home. Several weeks of mitigation and repair (by knowledgeable people) required an insurance claim of over $17,000. When subrogated by our insurance company they took no responsibility. Needless to say, our neighborhood is well aware of what happened and the company that caused this damage. We heard there was a similar claim against this company and found that they were using unqualified individuals to do tile roofs. I've waited a while to post this review because I thought they might do the right thing.
Follow up to response: We did give you the opportunity to respond to our water emergency. We called you as soon as the water started coming into our house. Your person said you were too busy to respond and provided a recommendation to contact another roofing contractor. It was an emergency, water was coming into our home. We called him and he referred us to a former partner, who was willing to come out that day to help us. Your person did call back the following week. We could not wait that long for someone to come out and mitigate the damage. That was the direction of our insurance company. No one else had been on that roof, since the cleaning from Weatherguard. The debris was parts of our roof. In your response you didn't respond to the quality of the job (per the contract) or the qualifications of the person who did it. It said, in the cleaning contract, that the valleys would be opened up and cleaned out. They were not. We didn't get back on the roof, following the cleaning to inspect it. We trusted that the job had been done as agreed. As you well know, the problems don't always show up right away. The Fall weather revealed the problems. If your company didn't have the knowledge of how to clean a roof like ours, I would have expected you would have turned down the job. The fact that you're not willing to take any responsibility for this problem is unfortunate.

Had our roof cleaned and gutters cleaned. They were wonderful to work with and did an excellent job!!! Would highly recommend to anyone that needs roof work done. No mess afterwards and appreciate the service.

Came and helped me with a leak that was actually from my window at no charge. Same day within a few hours.

These guys did a great job for us. We had leak in our garage roof. They came out a day after I called. Estimate arrived a day later. It was very reasonable and the repair crew came out a few days later to take care of the leak. Prior to that, the estimator -- Caleb -- climbed up on the roof in the rain and did a temporary fix to stop the leaking which I really appreciated. The repair crew was prompt, friendly and professional. I don't know where the other negative reviews are coming from (perhaps nervous competitors?), but I was completely satisfied and wouldn't hesitate using them again.

Roof Doctor does not repair. They send a cleanly dressed person in a fancy truck and give a high bid for a new roof (my roof is 11 years old). I should have read between the lines when they refused to send anyone unless the owner was present. Also, they were able to move quickly, while Weatherguard had 70 people ahead of me. I will stick with Weatherguard next time.

Mom was quite nervous to have her roof checked, but had Shane came out to do an evaluation. He was kind, knowledgable, and so helpful. Thank you so much for your time, and your patience! You are the best.

Weatherguard has done more than one roof for me in the past few months. Caleb was the salesperson I worked with. He is very knowledgeable and thorough in his approach and made sure no detail was missed. Their prices are very competitive and the quality of work and timing was great as well. I will definitely use them again in the future and would highly recommend them.

I called Weatherguard Roofing to inspect a roof for a real estate client, and very close friend, who is in the process of purchasing a home... home is at the age where it was just the prudent thing to do. Caleb Bulloch is the name of the tech who came for the inspection, and he didn’t try any upsell. He said that the roof is in good shape, and that he wouldn’t be worried about buying the house because of anything to do with the roof. Thanks Caleb & Weathergard!

I had done business with company for 16 years and never dreamed it would end like it did
Weatherguard had replaced roofs on duplexes, fourplexes, and single family homes and the bill always matched the estimate. I trusted them to provide a good roof at a fair price. In June of 2018 they quoted to reroof a duplex which I accepted. It came with a standard wording that this bid included replacing 10 sheets of plywood if necessary. On the day of installation I received a phone call from their office that there would be a few more sheets replaced. The word few means 2 or 3? Well, when I got the bill, it stated replaced “ALL sheeting” an additional $7900 added to their quote. I couldn’t get over how a few could end up all?
I had to hire an attorney for the first time in this landlaording business. During my investigation of what went haywire, I happened to got up into the attic below the roof. There was the proof right there, they had not replaced 100 % maybe 50%
We settled out of court for much less than they billed me for. This experience was beyond weird, how could they go from a five star to a 1 star. Since then I have encountered others with bad experiences with this company. Beware of this company

Called for an estimate on a roof repair and someone came over the same week and even sent the estimate the next day. However, that was the last I heard from them. During a five week span I called once and emailed three times without receiving a response. Finally decided to go with another company. It's possible our job was too small for them.

I was surprised to see my storm damaged roof was repaired when I got home from work less than 24 hours after calling. Certainly can't complain about that kind of service! I really appreciate you guys taking care of it.

So pleased we used this group. Had requested a bid several years ago and was advised the roof was still good for another 5 years. Instead they cleaned it and it looked great. When it was time for the new roof, called them back and they did a terrific job. Great upbeat crew with conscientious work ethic. Super clean up. Highly recommend.

Weatherguard put a new roof on my house 16 months ago. They came in literally at 1/2 the price of the other bid I had. It was just after a pretty good 3 day rain storm so there were plenty of people looking for roofs and repairs at the time. They were able to provide a date within the week. They came and ripped out the old (including plywood) and put in the new in a single day. They used quality materials, and included all the bells and whistles (liners etc.). They did a great job cleaning up after the job as well. I really appreciated their front desk staff (very nice young lady) who took my calls and did the follow up, very comfortable to talk with. The guy leading the project, Shane, was a true pro and made sure the work was top notch. The end result is a great roof that will last decades. Like I said it's been over a year and everything is as good as day one! I would hire these folks for every roof job I will ever need in the future.

My parents and some friends recommended Weatherguard and I am so glad I choose them too. They beat out a couple other highly rated companies with their estimate. Sometimes that isn't always better since the quality may be worse, but I had those personal positive reviews to reassure me. Josh and Keri did a fantastic job walking me through the process and continued to help by sending someone back to add something small the inspector called for (we are selling the house). During the install I think I counted over 13 guys working on my roof (quite a bit of sheeting had to be replaced too). There were two places that were slightly damaged and Josh had a contractor come out and fix those up. Anyone can make a mistake; I was just happy with how quickly they fixed it! Hopefully I won't need a roof on my new place for another 10 years, but when I do, I'll be calling Weatherguard for sure. Best price for a superb product.

Worst customer service ever and will claim they did the work even if they didn't. The receptionist is beyond rude, can't claim an actual date services were supposedly done, gives 2 days it may have been done yet I was home both of those days and they were never here. Billed the property management company for work they never did and when I said I would report them to the BBB, the receptionist began yelling at me and finished with "go ahead and complain" before hanging up on me. How can you claim you did the work when you were never here and the roof is still leaking?

The roofing materials got taken to the wrong house so they had to reschedule. They wanted to reschedule for a day when it was supposed to be really rainy and I told them I didn't want my roof put on in the rain so I asked them to come that Fri when the weather was supposed to be good. They then told me they already had scheduled other jobs. I told them if they didn't come Fri I would hire someone else. Suddenly an opening on Fri came up. They came that Fri and did a good job, however, they used a large tarp I had on the roof and took it with them when they left. I called and left a message asking them to bring it back and never heard from them. Those things were the difference between 2 stars and 5.

We had a leaking roof and they came and looked at it the next day. Sent an estimate to us immediately and were there a few days after we authorized them to being work. We live out of the area and the neighbors said they showed up early in the morning and had a very fast crew and got the whole thing complete in a day. Months later I was able to see the work in person and everything looks very good quality. I did a bunch of landscaping on the property and did not find even one nail or shingle scrap left behind by them! They also stuck with their estimate even though some significant cost-affecting issues were encountered during the project. Very professional people. We called around to 8 different places and they had nearly the lowest price as well.

Weatherguard scheduled a roof repair, one that was necessary as the wall nearest the leak had begun to mold and needed to be replaced asap. For two and a half weeks Weatherguard ignored their responsibility to perform the repairs or even contact anyone concerning the delay in service. When I was finally able to reach them they claimed a sick roof repair technician had caused the delay. Weatherguard did not perform the job they were hired for and exhibited an unprecedented level of unprofessionalism in their customer service, communication and attention to details (both macro and micro). I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone I know.

These guys are great! Had a leaking chimney had one company come out made the leak worse and charged $200 another company gave us a $500 estimate to replace the flashing but said 2-3 weeks for repair. Weatherguard Roofing came out same day gave us a great price and were out the following morning to fix it. Kip did a great job took his time and made sure we were nice and sealed up! I very seldom write reviews positive or otherwise but in this case our experience was so over the top Positive that I felt compelled to publicly thank Shane, his crew, and Weatherguard roofing for a job well done!

I have waited to write this review until after it had rained a few times to make sure that they were as good as they appeared to be. They were. I have a 2000 sq foot rancher. Shane, Charlie and their crew stripped off the old roof, repaired a few spots that were not visible on initial inspection, and had the new roof on in about 8 hours. Never once did Shane come to me and say that they had found a problem that wasn't covered in the bid. His was not the cheapest bid we had nor the most expensive. But they never asked to renegotiate the price due to those problems. They just fixed it and moved on.

His crew was neat, very courteous, clean and cleaned up the mess around the house after the job was completed leaving my property in better shape than when they had arrived. I can highly recommend this company to anyone needing a roof. You will be in good hands.
