We had a leak in our roof when the rain started up this year. I emailed weather guard for a quote to fix the leak. Mike answered in a very timely fashion came out and assessed the situation. He patched the leak for a more than reasonable price and left the job site nicer than he found it. I know who I will be calling when I need a complete replacement of my roof. Mike went above and beyond to get the job done.

Get a second proposal if you must, but Weatherguard does what they say they’re going to do, when they told you they’d do it. what more do you want

After purchasing a 100 year old fixer upper in Seaside, we knew at closing that one of the first (and most expensive) projects was to replace the old, (and ugly) roof on the old beach cottage and also have a new membrane installed on the flat roof garage.
As I am getting rather long in the tooth, roofing a house with this steep roof pitch and consideration of my lengthy healing time if I took a wrong slip and slide over the edge, made my decision to hire a professional easy.
After putting a call out for bids amongst local companies, I awarded the job to Weatherguard.

The bid was realistic and covered the what ifs and the unknowns. I requested a starting date and they did the best they could to work within my schedule as I wanted to be on site during the job.
The job was pulled off and completed to perfection without too many glitches. (stopping rain was not under Paul's control)
The stripping & roofing crews were friendly and professional. Everyone stayed busy and gave a full day.

I highly recommend Weatherguard, to anyone considering a new roof. From my experience It will be done right at a fair price! The frosting on the cake is they accept credit cards for easy payment at job completion. There were no requests for up front payment like other roofing companies required.

The overall roof job was fine. I have found over 30 nails in my gravel parking area. This job was done in March and I found one yesterday, (August). They left metal tie offs on the roof, not sure why - we have a very low pitched roof and it looks unfinished.

We had called two other roofing companies who wouldn’t come out after we part of our roof to wind, but Weatherguard came just as soon as it was safe to get on our hip roof. They had to wait till there were 4-5 dry days because everything had to be removed down to the pen beam ceiling planks and completely redone. The crew worked tirelessly, never heard a word of profanity, and did their best to clean everything up.

Weatherguard re-roofed our 1970s house in Seaside. The whole process was a dream. We'd been ghosted by a few other companies and, with winter approaching quickly, were losing confidence we could sort out a new roof in time. The Weatherguard team was prompt in assessing our project and provided a competitive, clear quote. The re-roofing crew was professional, respectful and thorough and left our job site better than they found it. The foreman was attentive through the whole project, and when a couple of details didn't quite meet standard, they were promptly dealt with. It's worth noting that our roof was in such disrepair that sheeting needed to be replaced. That set back was dealt with efficiently and within a day and a half we had a new roof and peace of mind. Highly recommend Weatherguard.

We were very impressed with the crew who did our roofing. They were industrious and cleaned up the work area after their day's job was done. We appreciated the offer of the senior discount also.

Weatherguard did a great job reroofing my house. They had to replace the sub-roofing with plywood because the original wood roof was shiplap boards. They identified this as a problem up front, and said that these old boards would stop being able to hold nails. I had noticed a few roofing nails starting to pop up, and that the old boards were very brittle, so I knew they were right on in that appraisal. The Weatherguard estimate was fair and accurate and they came in on budget. They communicated well as to when they would be able to get to the work. The actual re-roofing took 2 days. They were thorough, careful, and cleaned up well after the work was complete. The roof looks great. I would highly recommend them.

They gave me a fair estimate. I admit I did not get other estimates sime my aunt had done that a few years prior and they were the best candidate. The work was great. I had more rot on my roof than previous estimate so it cost more, but I was not surprised and actually expected it since my roof was 30+ years and installed by my Dad with no venting. Great company, fair prices and their crew was great!

I had heard mixed reviews on this company but I now swear by them for their professionalism and quality. I am a veteran who needed a new roof and they worked with me in a stellar manner from beginning to end and did an amazing job on my roof. The crew was incredibly friendly and professional and were intent on leaving my property looking even better than they found it. this is for the residential crew that put a new roof on my shop. I thought they were very polite and well mannered. They were very hard workers and seem like they did an excellent job Even though it was very hot outside. They were more than willing to answer questions that i had and if they couldn't they would contact some one that could. This was summer 2018. Our house was built in the 40's with a built on addition. Did a complete tear-off, had to replace several pieces of sheeting, and a couple of barge boards. Installed additional vents to make sure we were up to current code. They came in the lower middle of 5 quotes, completed the job start to finish in a day and half, were professional, cleaned up and hauled everything away when finished. The extra wood replacement they had to do that was outside the spec of the original quote, cost less than we anticipated. They were very fair about that. The roof has performed perfectly, still looks brand new, and the house is so much quieter during rain storms. We are extremely pleased we picked these folks.

This is our third review of Weatherguard in Longview (our second review from the winter of 2022 is below). Weatherguard has now fixed the roof they patched last winter. We continue to be absolutely delighted with this company and its group of professionals. They are responsive, speedy, highly skilled, and really good at treating their customers like grown-ups.

Here is the second review: These folks are just terrific. We called with a leaking roof from storm damage and they were there (1:45 hours away) that afternoon. Stayed late to make sure every leak was repaired (there were many). Solid, dedicated professionals willing to go the extra mile for their customers. They were pleasant, speedy, quick to explain what and why they were doing, and a pleasure to deal with. This is our second lovely experience with these folks.

The Weatherguard team is professional from start to finish. Ian was on top of our project from the beginning. We had to postpone in the spring due to Covid-19. Ian checked in and helped get it scheduled for the fall. The installers were perfesional and kept the job site clean so we could continue to operate our business. I highly recommend them for your roofing project.

They recently repaired a 5 ft by 2 ft area of roof after I had to remove my deck cover. They were able to do the work quickly. That was very nice. However, they did not clean up well. They left a shingle in my raised bed garden. I stepped on a nail. After stepping on it I spent time cleaning up many more nails. They sited a "law" that two people had to be on a job for safety purposes. Dept. of L&I described it as best practices. Not a law. My problem with this is that I was charged for two people when two people weren't here the whole time. The excuse for that was he was matching my shingles. My roof is older and I'm reasonable enough to know they cannot match perfectly. But....they are NOT matched at all. The labor cost was 3 hours each to take care of this area. And the last problem was they left without talking to me. They said I didn't answer my back door. But they certainly knew where my front door was since they used it when they came and were parked by it. I saw them leave. Such poor customer service.

These guys are a 5-Star on all levels! They were prompt, did fabulous work and we were extremely impressed. The quality is outstanding - they HAND-NAIL each and every piece! Even our framers were awe-stricken by that detail. We definitely recommend Weatherguard and will use them again if there is a need. Thank you for the great work!

We had four different contractors give us a bid to redo our roof. With 55squares of tile to remove some work had to be done in a timely manner. One contractor never came back , another was too inexperienced. And a third was way too expensive. Weatherguard gave us the low bid , gave us a time frame and cleaned up each day. The work was completed in the time frame that was suggested and the personnel were friendly and professional. We now have a beautiful roof and a contractor that we trust.

We had weather gaurd come and do our roof in Kelso. We got an estimate and were put on their schedule for 3 weeks out. They came and did the tear off and put the new roof on in one day and came back the next day to do a once over to make sure they were 100%done and cleaned up. I'm very happy with the results. The price was fair and the quality of work is exceptional. I will be calling them again next year for my garage and will continue to use them for any other projects should I need them.

As a builder, I have partnered with Weatherguard on my projects for several years. They are professional, keep to the schedule, and do a great job keeping the jobsite clean. I recommend them without reservation.

They just re-roofed my house after doing the garage several years ago. The garage looked great and the price was reasonable so I had them do the house. They were able to do it in one day and it looks great. I wasn't having leaks, and didn't want to get to that point.
The clean up was very good and there was a lot of communication from them to let me know what was going on beforehand.

Cost was very reasonable. The crew was reapectful and professional in every way. The job was completed in a reasonable time frame. And the quality of their work was fantastic. I'd recommend them to anybody.

We are completely satisfied with the work done by Weatherguard. They arrived early and worked a 12 hour day to finish the job which was tearing off the old roof, repairing some plywood, and putting on the new roof. We have a unique spot where our garage and house roofs meet which required special attention. It required one roofer to come back and work on it another half day or so which they did. We have had a couple heavy rains since Weatherguard put on the new roof and it is working fabulously. They also did an awesome job of cleaning up which included using a big magnet to find any stray nails. The crew of 8 were very friendly and hard working.

We're very happy with the work that Weatherguard Inc has done on our roof. The entire roof was recovered, and the mess cleaned up in one day. (Including running a magnet over the area around the house to pick up any nails that might have fallen.) The workers were friendly, and asked if there was anything else we wanted done before they left. Good job!!

We have a 2400 sq ft, 2- story home, on which they gave me the best of four quotes for a new roof. Then, in two days they tore off the old shingles and replaced them with new shingles. The two days they worked were two of the hottest days and smokiest days of our summer. These guys arrived on time and finished on time and were absolutely great!! The roof looks wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone in the Southwest Washington northwest Oregon area in a heartbeat.
