Ward's Ace and Country Store

The night manager I don't remember his name but he was awesome!! He went above and beyond for me hand delivered my dogs food after his shift on his own time up to my family's property so I didn't have to drive from slc in the storm.. I will never shop another hardware store anywhere I will go to malad just to buy from him.. best customer service ever!!

Great store with a wide variety of hardware, farm, hunting, garden and clothing. Friendly and helpful personnel. Clean and well stocked store.

I am a local patron of this store and was glad to see them open but it has come to my attention recently that they have some questionable values concerning veterans and the loosely used term of a hero. There was a response to a question of veterans discount availability that reads " there are many professions with heroes that go unrecognized every day. We do not feel it fair to put one group of over another. First responders, school teachers, stay at home moms, those with high risk but necessary jobs, fathers who are just trying to make ends meet for their families... are they not all heroes? Do they not all sacrifice for their communities and country? " this outlook of our veterans is shameful and shows the utmost disregard for the sacrifice that millions of AMERICAN Veterans of domestic and foreign wars have done for the rights of every singe American. It's not about a discount it is about an ideology that is destroying our country today. The original review and response post was removed soon after it it was posted.

I get choked up thinking about this place because my dad would have loved so much to see it. It's an amazing store run by amazing people. Dad would be proud. Shoutout to the general manager down there, he's one heck of a man, and he's done a great job.

This is way more than just an Ace store! All the employees are so helpful and nice!! They have a whole section for Motor Homes! Perfect place to stop if you’re traveling through!! Go check them out!!

This location is amazing! The team is fantastic and always ready to help. Every time I come in they help me find exactly what I'm looking for and create a cheerful and welcoming environment! 10/10 recommend.

The new Ace Hardware in Malad, Idaho, is a pleasure to shop at. The employees are helpful and friendly and do what they can to make your shopping experience a pleasant one. They have a huge selection of inventory, including just about anything you can think of that you might need for home or farm. I love having Ace Hardware in Malad!

Very friendly staff. Was able to find the items I was looking for. Easy access right off I-15. Better prices than the other local competition. I will be shopping here more often and recommend this store to all my family and friends.

I really like the store. It has almost everything and if it does not have what you need you can special order it and it will ship there so fast! It’s a huge store and there are a lot of amazing people that work there.

Love this store! Everything is laid out user friendly. Ask your nearest red vest friend for the location of any item, they are more then happy to scan, lead you right to the item and not leave you on your own to locate it! Loved the smile when I walked in and the hometown greeting! It was very refreshing! Rumor is clothing and other seasonal items including recreational! They offered to special order items and I over heard a sweet elder man speak highly of the help he’s been receiving! I highly suggest giving them a try! I also like the longer hours!
