They have been great when I've needed windows and lumber. Very helpful when ordering windows and keeping me updated on when the windows were expected to arrive. On lumber they are very reasonable and even mentioned thier discount lumber pile when they asked about my project and knew some twisted boards would be sufficient. That tip alone saved me $100s due to today's prices.

They were able to order a hard to find solid 12x6 high grade wood for a mantle/floating shelf project at an affordable price when I could not find what I needed elsewhere. Great service, fast response via phone for price quote (same day), and they were willing to deliver as well.

We purchased a 28 window package for our 23 year old house.
We had decided to change the kitchen window from a regular slider window into a bay window.
Our contractor told WW Builders EXACTLY what the measurements/application were needed. When we got the window, the contractor opened the box and found out IT WAS NOT EXACTLY what we needed. It was INSTEAD for a NEW construction. They (WW BUILDERS) should have told us NOT to order the window BECAUSE it is made ONLY for NEW construction and would NOT FIT!
When we called WWB, they told us that they DO NOT RETURN windows! Even though they looked up the window for us to buy. We bought what THEY told us would work for our house and the measurements. So it was their mistake BUT we are left with a BIG $900. window that they will not return and we can't use because it won't fit.
They could easily sell it to someone with a NEW construction or return it to the window company. It is a fine window BUT they wouldn't return it to the company. Just took our money and won't help us out with their mistake.
I would look for a different supplier.

Small outfit providing building materials to contractors, primarily. They beat home depot prices on shingles, and they were delivered to the roof. Better shingles then Home Depot I think as well. My only complaint is they are a M-F shop (Never open on weekends) Not the best supplier for a typical DIY'er, but there prices are pretty competitive.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
