Hired them 2weeks ago to repair some walls due to termite damage… work was done, but had to call them nack to come replace rotten bottom plate that was left, their guys cut my cabinet in half, instead moving it… the forst response to the cabinet was “i dont know what you want me to do about it”…. Then, they cut all through the wall im another room and said “i dont see where i shoild have to pay for that, its incidental”…. An i have still hsd to replace wall studs on my own that they did not replace… will never use them again… why hire someone to just cause more damage and say im not paying for it…
I would recommend Viridis Construction for any construction job. Chris is very responsive and always gives you a fair price. They finish projects on schedule and are communicative about any delays. I've used them for major and minor repairs and will continue to use them.
Contracted Viridis in 2021 for a roof repair after Hurricane Ida. Viridis did a total roof replacement. All was well until July 2022 when we had some heavy rains. We came home to it raining in our front dining roof. We called Chris to come out and inspect the roof. He said it was impossible that it was the roof and proposed that it was the vinyl siding. He made a fix, but unfortunately it was right before the long drought. So it took months to see if the "fix" actually work. When it started to rain again water seeped into the house the ceiling started to sag. After the third time of calling Chris he told us to stop wasting his time and he would only come over if we had PROOF that it was the roof.
Over the next few months we had every sort of handy man/roofer come out and all ruled out the vinyl siding. Window world said it was the roof, two local roofers said it was the roof, and finally we called Leak Busters. He gave us a video showing it was the roof which we sent to Chris. We called out Chris again and he came out to "fix it" but it only made the leak 100 times worse. Finally we called leak busters back. Paid him $600 to fix the leak (it is fixed and no longer rains in our house). He also told us the ENTIRE roof is install incorrectly. We recently had a water damage specialist come out and determine the leak was fixed but we very much likely have mold growing in the ceilings. We have spent hundreds of dollars trying to find a solution and will spend even more to get it fixed. After e-mailing Chris he has left us on read. Do not use this roofer.
