VinylTech is my go-to roofing contractor. I've worked with Gary on a few roof replacements as a result of hail damage. He is easy to work with and effectively communicated with my insurance company. Once the claim was approved, Daniel and his crew swooped in and got the job done. The entire crew was very respectful and took great care of my property. If you're ever in need of a new roof, these are the guys to call! I've recommended them to several family members and friends, and we've all been very happy with the results.

Vinyltech replaced our siding. Kristian was very helpful with deciding what we wanted to do. He came out to the site from the very first day of work. We knew we had some water damage that needed repair but not the extent if it. Since we were out if town at the time work began, Kristian called us with what they had found, even sent video for us to review. After finding our windows had not been installed correctly, the Vinyltech crew corrected the problem. All extra possible costs were outlined up front. When the work was complete Kristian did a final walk around, cleaning up any debris he found as he did.

I have a house built in 1910 that came with original windows. After meeting with a few companies, we landed on VinylTech and I'm so happy we did! It was a pleasure working with VinylTech! Kristian reached out to me to set up a time for him to come by and give a free estimate. When he arrived, he was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the product. He answered all of my questions and had a really nice demo of the product (windows) as well. By the end of the meeting he had an estimate written up for me and told me to call him and let me know whenever we are ready. There wasn’t any high pressure sales tactics, like “make sure all of the decision makers are home” or “this is my best price only tonight if you say yes.” Kristian was very laid back and go with the flow. We ended up going with VinylTech for the 10 windows in our house.

After signing all the paperwork, which Kristian came out to our house for, Chris called us 3 days later to set up measurements. Chris was great to work with and very nice gentleman.

The windows took 10 weeks to come in, we were quoted 12 weeks, so that was a pleasant surprise. Once we got the call that they had been built, Chris reached out to set up a date. They came out 2 days later.

Once they arrived for the install, it was guns blazing! The crew of 3 knocked it out in 4 hours! The quality of the work was incredible. Everyone knows the most important thing about a window is how it is installed. Let me tell you, these guys are professionals and really take pride in the quality of their work! Once they were done and the inspector came out and approved everything, I walked around with the install guys and they answered all the questions I had. I was blown away by how clean the install was. Kristian came out at the end and went over everything with me as well.

Overall, I am so pleased with my VinylTech experience and I will recommend them to everyone I come across that needs a service they offer. I know who I will be contacting when it is time for a new roof and siding!

Last year we had 7 windows replaced, they worked flawlessly, through the seasons. This year they replaced 9 more. As last year the installation was perfect, performed in one day by expert craftsman. they cleaned the area and discarded all the old windows. I would recommend Vinyl Tech to everyone.

Nearly 12 years ago, we called VinylTech for an estimate on a roof. They came and told us to ignore the other estimates and that our shingles still had quite a bit of life in them.. and to call them back in ten years. Lol. Well, here we are. We not only desired a full roof replacement, but wanted to replace gutters, wrap soffits and fascia, add attic ventillation and cover our 1970's cedar siding with vinyl. It was our biggest job to date as homeowners and we did not even know where to start. Vinyltech is a great company if you're looking to have siding done. I have a century house in Elgin, and Kristian was the easiest guy to work with as a contact for the project. He arranged everything and kept us in the loop as far as deliveries and time estimations. A+ to that guy. The crew that did the siding were on-time, efficient, and always took the time to clean up contruction debris around. The best part about the whole thing was that the color choices they had pretty much exactly matched what the house looked like before the old siding had degraded. A co-worker referred me to Gary at VinylTech after he had some windows replaced. The ordering process was very straightforward, he had an example window and answered all of my questions. Once the windows were built (nearby in Chicago) they were installed shortly after. The team showed up and replaced all 10 of the windows in one day. I hired Vinyl Tech first on a roof replacement insurance claim project. They worked extremely well with the adjuster and were able to get the project approved! They completed the job in one day and did an amazing job from start to finish including cleanup! I could not have been happier.

In addition, a short while after the roof was replaced, I hired them to replace my (original low quality builder grade) kitchen patio door. Again, they did an amazing job arriving and finishing on schedule installing a HIGH QUALITY patio door that has made a huge difference in temperature control in the kitchen.

I can’t say enough good things about Gary Mitchell and VinylTech. We had extensive hail damage to our siding and roof, and our house has many (many … oh so many) windows, all of which needed to be replaced (due to the age of the windows) … So, a LOT of work, and very stressful to try to find a trustworthy company, there are a lot of “storm-chaser” companies out there, so I was very concerned about finding someone trustworthy.

But, once I met with Gary from VinylTech, I knew we had found our company. He is knowledgeable and very thorough, and made us feel at ease. He led us through every step of the process and made a stressful situation easy, and the crews that came to our house to complete the work were also wonderful. They were on time every day, considerate of us and our house, and the work performed was impeccable. Gary himself stopped by several times as work was in progress, just to check in and make sure we were ok and happy and that the work was going well.

Our house looks brand-new again! We couldn’t be happier, and even after the work was completed, Gary stayed in touch to make sure everything was perfect, and even to this day (they did our house over a year ago), Gary still makes himself available to us … We had an issue with a bird nest stuck in our chimney, and he helped us find a reliable person to speak to - How wonderful is that, helping us with something that his company doesn’t benefit from at all?!? SIDING SIDING SIDING. This is the main reason I contacted this company. The gutters and windows was a great addition. Kristian with a K was the lead sales man, competent, informative, patient, and never pushy. Ken was equally helpful. Anyone that can sit in my living room, as kids were all over the place, keep their cool, and present their info, has huge checks in my estimation. John, Roman and Mark show up every morning at 7, and work as a well oiled machine, getting the job done efficiently. Why did I choose Vinyl Tech…obviously the price was huge, but more than that, the gut feeling one gets when the right choice is sitting right in front of you. Kristian comes by every day to check progress, answer any questions, and make sure I am happy with the results. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone that can use their services.

I would highly recommend VinylTech. They installed vinyl siding on our home, replaced a total of 14 windows, installed new gutters , fascia and soffits and installed a new roof that involved a tear-off. We dealt with Manny for the whole project. He was very easy to work with and very accommodating. The work performed was excellent on all points. They were very professional and cleaned everything after they were done. They showed up on time for the work and continued to work until the jobs were finished. The roofers repaired parts of the roof that were above what the contract called for. VinylTech also stands 100% behind their work and the products. After dealing with VinylTech, I would go nowhere else for that type of work.

VinylTech not only sided my house, but at least 15 other houses in my subdivision. Great workers, thorough and courteous. Jon was a ball of energy and very upbeat. They did a great job siding my house and cleaning up. They did such a good job, word spread and they sided, roofed, and put in windows in at least 15 other houses in our neighborhood. They are located in town and have been in business over 20 years here. With such competition in this industry their longevity is a testament to the quality of their work.

**Buyer beware** (caveat imptor) is the best way to handle VinylTech. After the contract signing, it was all downhill from there.

Scheduling roofing, siding, and gutter installations were a nightmare since VinylTech didn’t allow preference for dates. Our insurance company spent $30,000 for a 1900 sq ft home to install; siding, roofing, and gutters. The siding staff left early the first day of the project right after lunch, took all the aluminum siding for scrap metal value without my consent, and unplugged our AC unit on a Friday afternoon during the heart of the summer As we found out by our HVAC company the following Monday. The sockets and fixtures blocks were not level. The Port-a-potty they dropped in my front yard burned my grass. As a former smoker, all the siding staff were smokers and I wanted to barf between their cigarette butts thrown all over my yard and the smell of cigarettes every time I entered and exited my home. We were led astray by complications and an additional contract for replacing the soffit and facia was signed because VinylTech was not qualified enough to replace just the roofing, siding, and gutters which ultimately led to us consulting with a lawyer on the unethical contractor behavior also known as bad-faith. To add insult to injury; their billing processes with instant text invoicing and instant payment required was beyond unprofessional.

The worst feeling anyone can have is the regret of choosing a greedy and unscrupulous contractor that believes acting in good-faith is optional. Our faith in VinylTech has been permanently tainted by its conduct.

My story with hail damage. On May 16 2019 a storm came through our neighborhood. A few days later there were people from all over telling us that we had hail damage to our aluminum siding. I contacted our insurance agent in Batavia, and they recommended finding a local business. I found a company called Vinyltech on Angies List and they had a very good rating. The company sent out a representative named Ryan Dewey, who was very easy to work with. Ryan explained the claim process and walked us through the steps required by the insurance company. Ryan met with the insurance adjuster at our home, and a couple of weeks later we received our claim. We were very pleased with Vinyltech and their professionalism, and our house looks brand new. I would recommend this company to anyone needing this kind of work done on their home or business.

I cannot say enough great things about this company. We needed to replace our old aluminum siding after a nasty hail storm. Since our aluminum siding was discontinued, we chose vinyl siding. From the owner, to the salesman, to the project manager, to the workers who installed the siding, the project was done very professionally. We picked out a beautiful dutchlap siding, in a darker color, with a lifetime warranty. The products installed are great quality and the installers did a great job. I had one small issue I was unhappy with... when I contacted the project manager to discuss it, the owner of the business contacted me directly to go over my concerns. He is very concerned with making sure his customers are taken care of well. The very next day, the issue was fixed, and he even made a follow up call to be sure I was happy. I am so happy with the way the house looks and with this company. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Very happy!!

Buyer beware!! Installers of my patio door in my condo were extremely incompetent. They dropped one of my old windows onto my patio, smashed glass everywhere. Then they broke my ceramic lamp base and hid the damage by turning it around so we couldn't see it and never told us. They had a hard time putting in the patio door and proceeded to bash it with a mallet to make it fit instead of taking it out and trimming the frame. The installers didn't speak English and left a trail of glass in the street aftet they left. The patio door is now crooked off by a about 1/2". From top to bottom vertically. It locks and closes ok so the owner said he can't do a anything about it. Do much for customer service. And it's not a cheap door about $2000.

The owner said all the patio doors in schaumburg look the same way. Guess he must have put them in too!!.

The windows and door are s good quality if you can buy them elsewhere.

VinylTech some work on my house after a hail storm. The repairs look great and the guys that worked on the house were very professional. VinylTech did make a error processing my payment, which added some unnecessary stress to working with them. They do good work, but could use some improvement in the administration department.
