We had Atlas Contractors do 4 projects on our house, we were very satisfied with the end result of each project. Ryan and Jim did the scheduling and estimates of each project, which were performed in a timely and professional manner. Both are very knowledgeable and answer your questions with a straight forward explanation, I would strongly recommend this company for your home remodeling. Lastly their crews that perform the work are top notch, especially their window installers.

Joe did an above and beyond job at keeping the project moving. The crew was super efficient and got the project done in the promised time frame despite encountering some surprises that would have really slowed or enemy stopped their progress were it not for Joe having to drive 30 mins twice to the nearest building supply store to save the day. The clean up was perfect with not a trace of building material left in my landscape or yard. Hats off to Joe and the Atlas crew!!! I highly recommend him!

We recently worked with Atlas after discovering hail damage to our home—a situation we were unaware of prior to their assessment. We were pleasantly surprised by the favorable coverage Atlas secured from our insurance company, thanks to Atlas's expertise in navigating the complexities of the insurance claim process. We literally could not have imagined what they were able to secure for us.

The Production Manager at Atlas displayed impressive knowledge and was instrumental in guiding us through the material selection and replacement process. It was evident that he genuinely cared about the quality of our renovation, and his involvement made a significant difference.

However, there were some challenges throughout the project. At times, the work timeline suffered due to a lack of coordination between the carpenter/project lead and the subcontractors. Clear communication was not always present, which resulted in rework and added disruptions to our daily lives. While issues were addressed when escalated, there were moments where we felt somewhat uncomfortable for voicing our concerns, which was unfortunate and lead to further frustration as homeowners.

Despite these hiccups, I’m pleased to say that the final result exceeded our expectations. Our home looks wonderful, and while some rework is typical in construction projects, we felt it was worth it for the overall outcome.

I would recommend Atlas for their knowledgeable team and effective handling of insurance claims, but I do hope they can improve their communication and coordination moving forward. Overall, a solid experience, and we're very happy with the end result!

Ryan and team did an amazing job with large picture window and side windows. The trim work was beautifully executed. All the team members were professional, courteous and efficient. They cleaned everything up. We couldn't be more pleased.

In April we noticed a leak in our roof. After googling we found Atlas & called them after seeing many positive reviews. They responded in around 48 hours.

A rep no longer with Atlas visited & after meeting him he mentioned he’d be able to get us a new roof because we were in the path of the storm on Feb 27, 2024 when a tornado went through Sugar Grove. The rep had a printout showing our property with calculated wind speeds & hail size. This behavior surprised me as I called for a leak in my roof. The rep made his way to the roof & said there was hail damage on my gutters & shingles. I told the rep where the leak was & he pointed out the flashing on a window was damaged & that had to of been the cause of the leak. I said it couldn’t be as issue was higher & further in from the window. The rep found I had shingles missing on the roof which I had already known. I did not tell him since I was met with “I can get you a new roof” after he introduced himself. The rep did patch the missing shingles.

Communication from our Atlas rep went quiet for a few days. A 2nd rep (no longer with Atlas) called & said he would take over our project as the 1st rep no longer with Atlas.

The 2nd rep visited & took pictures of the house as Atlas has software to help pick shingle colors. The software wasn’t working, instead the 2nd Rep brought a folder with shingle colors. I told him Atlas lost my trust due to the 1st rep trying to get me a new roof right when he got out of his truck. I asked for an itemized breakout: how much insurance would cover & how much would be out of pocket.

We visited Atlas to go through the itemized detail. Atlas gave us addresses so we could pick out a shingle color. They explained what day of roof replacement would look like. We were informed the roofing crew would arrive at 7 am to start work.

Morning of roof replacement got notified of rescheduling due to rain. On the 2nd morning of, I woke up at 6:15 to people talking outside. The forecast had rain till around 10. Radar had a storm in the west which tracked for my home. I called Atlas & expressed my concerns but was told, “roofers replace roofs all the time with rain in the forecast, if it rains they will tarp the roof”.

The rain started, 1/3 of the shingles were off. The roofing company tarped most the roof but some workers continued working. I went outside, one roofer saw me & whistled to the other to stop working. I was not happy & called Atlas to ask who is managing my project as no one had shown up like they said.

After my call 2 different Atlas reps showed up. I met them outside & one rep asked how I was. This set me off, I started to swear, “how do you think it is going, it is raining & the roofers are putting felt on in the rain”. The rep went to the roofer & told him in Spanish to stop, in front of me. I told the reps, “doesn’t make sense, replacing a roof in the rain while the roof has one job, keep the rain out”.

Atlas replaced the gutters & downspouts. The 2nd rep stopped after the work was completed & walked around the house. I noticed metal flashing under the gutters was dented/damaged every 3 feet. The company used a crowbar to pry off the old gutters & damaged the metal. What concerned me is Atlas looked at the work after it was completed & did not see the damage.

One week after roof replacement I saw water damage in our breakfast nook. Atlas sent out a roof inspector to assess. The inspector told me to follow up next time it rained. Ten days later I left a message for the inspector & got no call back. It rained again & I texted & no reply. A 3rd time, I texted my Atlas rep & inspector & got no reply. I called the office & explained my situation. A 3rd Atlas rep reached out & said he would help us conclude our project. He scheduled a painter and took care of the water damage.

Atlas was working directly with my insurance company on supplemental claims. I got a call from my insurance agent saying an Atlas employee told her to ‘shut her mouth’ & left a message stating something about being ignorant.

Recently we were fortunate enough to work with Atlas General Contractors and the experience was exceptional. About this time last year a tree fell on our roof and thankfully a few friends/neighbors suggested we contact Atlas. As a result, the guidance and support they lended was top notch. I would highly suggest engaging them for your next project. Without the knowledge they have in dealing with the industry I’m sure we would have had a significantly less desirable outcome . Thank you Atlas for being a customers advocate and partner to do what is fair and right.

We just had two french doors replaced with Pella sliders.Jason and his team did an excellent job . Communication from start to finish went extremely well. The job was completed in one day and we were very pleased with the outcome,as well as the reasonable pricing.

We had our roof replaced by Atlas General Contractors about two weeks ago, in late July. The work arrangement and quality were superb. It was well organized and carried out in near perfect steps. But the most important element in the whole project was agent Joseph Girgenti. He guided us tirelessly through all the complicated and intimidating insurance procedures with unmatched patience and thoroughness. He followed up his work and gave us extra help in many ways. Joe is the best contractor I personally have ever encountered in decades. I have nothing but respect for this distinguished human being.

Atlas contractors of Campton Hills Illinois installed our new Pella Windows professionally accurately and beautifully. We are exceptionally pleased with quality of their work and the cleanup afterwards. They even left us some touch-up stain and paint. Definitely people we will work with again.

I've used Atlas Contractors twice now, and had a great experience with Bryan. Atlas has replaced a window that was broken during a wind storm in 2023, and replaced my roof following damage by another storm in 2024. Bryan is very good at walking through the process, setting expectations, and following up if changes to the schedule are required.

The window replacement was seamless, as was the roof replacement. Bryan showed up to my house multiple times and waited for the insurance adjuster for a prolonged period of time as they were first late, and then had to reschedule the appointment when their tablet wasn't working. Bryan walked through and made sure the adjuster made note of all damage, including some that I had missed to my garage door - resulting in getting the entire roof and garage door paid for by my insurance.

When rain prevented work from happening on the original date (a Monday), they reached out a day ahead to let me know, and got me rescheduled for that Wednesday, bringing on additional manpower to complete the entire roof teardown and reinstall on the same day. Bryan was actively overseeing the work, and the team was extremely diligent in running magnets over the lawn to prevent any nails from being left behind.

I opened a claim for my roof with another company and they were not able to help get that claim approved. I then contacted Atlas and they were able to get my claim approved. They were tenacious with my insurance company. Will rereview once they complete my roof replacement. I expect it to go well given other reviews and their BBB rating.

I worked with Joseph for a roofing and siding inspection in which we found hail damage and very old shingles. We filed a claim that didn’t go through but Joseph was very patient in answering all my questions throughout the process. We then replaced the roof. Working with Joseph, the whole process was streamlined, the crew came on time on the day of the installation and everything went without a hitch. Strongly recommend working with this company as a first time homeowner! You’ll know what you’re getting into.

Cody repaired the rotten siding and subfloor due to water damage from an improperly installed door. He fixed the the subfloor and rotten areas of the wall and made sure the door was properly flashed and waterproofed. He also installed some flashing on the roofline as well. Super easy to work with and kept me informed through every step. Would definitely recommend Atlas if you need repairs done!

Working with Atlas was an easy and truly enjoyable experience. Reached out to Atlas after a F0 tornado and hailstorm damaged the rear elevation siding of our home. Received a quick response and within a week I was working with Joseph who came out to assess the damage and give a quote. After filing an insurance claim I was so impressed that Joseph was on top of it working with my insurance and handling so much of the headache/back and forth with them. Atlas even handled pulling all the appropriate permits for the work being done. We now have an entirely redone rear elevation to our home and Atlas even replaced the entire house wrap prior to installing all new siding on the entire rear elevation with a seamless match to the existing siding on the rest of our house. Joseph was even able to get us a higher quality siding to future proof our home from ensuing storms coming through the area. Work was completed in a single day and Joseph was on site checking in on the progress and even came by to clean up and pick up any nails, scraps, and debris from our yard. We could not be happier with our experience and the way everything turned out. You could never tell we redid that entire elevation of the house with the perfect match in color, grain, and texture!

Working with Jason and his crew was an excellent experience on an initial vinyl window basement project. Communication was professional, and the install is very clean. Then later expanded to a full-home window replacement project. Again, Jason, Ryan, and the whole crew have done an amazing job and take great care in their work. Absolutely recommend! My house was a disaster after a hail storm and Bryan and his team went above and beyond to rebuild my roof and install new siding. I had no idea what I was doing when i first started as this is my first time ever having work done on my home but Bryan was very helpful and attentive from start to finish! He handled everything with my insurance and made the process such a breeze. My house looked like it was straight out of the 70s and now it looks so modern and beautiful! Atlas General Contractors and in particular Oliver Christensen have been so on point for each of our projects (a new roof, more than 20 new windows, an attic insulation upgrade, an exterior paint job, and miscellaneous jobs like rebuilding a damaged furnace flue/chimney and replacing some wood trim/fascia boards) that we’re free to just nit pick and annoy him with all the little stuff and dumb questions. Give you an example- Oliver himself was in my yard at 7AM the morning after our roof was installed and complete with a magnet wagon making sure his roofing crew didn’t leave any nails in the backyard where my dogs play! Whenever we have a question, an issue or a scheduling conflict, Atlas and Oliver have worked with us, even rescheduling an entire crew & project when there was an unexpected death in my family…the Atlas guys kept their distance until I reached back out to them to restart and they were kind, respectful and understanding the whole time. Working with Atlas feels like I have my own team ready to go when an exterior project arises.

I had hail damage on my roof and siding. Called Atlas and they came out and inspected the property. They thought there was enough damage to file insurance claim. Atlas came out with the insurance claim agent to monitor the inspection. All went well and insurance approved both roof and siding. The squeezed me in before winter for my siding and as soon as weather warmed up this spring, they were here doing the roof. All went well and was a smooth process. The rep for Atlas was on hand to make sure all work was done well and to our liking. I would advise people to use Atlas for any work they are looking to get done. Thanks Atlas.

We hired Atlas General Contractors to replace our siding. The crew did a fantastic job and FAST! They were professional and also friendly. Our project manager Joe was there every step of the way to make sure everything was was completed up to standard and even came back to fix up minor imperfections that we noticed. This company really does do a great job making sure their clients are happy, 100% recommend!

Went with Atlas after a hailstorm in September. Had multiple companies tell me that the damage on my house (roof, garage door, vinyl window wraps, gutters) would not be covered by insurance based on age until atlas came out. Oliver assured me that this would be a successful claim and would personally meet with the adjuster when he came out. Their quality of work was quick and professional and always communicated if there was any delay. Atlas will have my business for all future projects going forward.
