- If I could give this company a -5, I would. I contracted them to put on a new roof on a flat roof.
- The project manager told us the new roof would not accumulate any water as they would pitch it.
- Rain was forecasted that evening and the project manager and I suggested putting a tarp to area what had already been laid down.

WE CALLED ATLAS GC AFTER A BAD STORM CAME THROUGH OUR AREA. A LARGE BRANCH HAD 'PIERCED" THROUGH THE ROOF ALLOWING RAIN IN TO DAMAGE THE CEILING INSIDE AND THE HAIL STORM HAD DAMAGED SHINGLES, GUTTERS, SIDING, AND WINDOW TRIMS. ADAM CONNOR FROM ATLAS CAME OUT TO DOCUMENT THE DAMAGE AND EXPLAINED HOW WE COULD GET A COMPLETE REPAIR DONE ON THE HOUSE AND EVEN WALKED US THROUGH THE INSURANCE CLAIM PROCESS. ALL WENT WELL AND THE HOUSE IS BEAUTIFUL THANKS TO ATLAS AND THEIR TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS.
If I could give this company a -5, I would. I contracted them to put on a new roof on a flat roof. Let me begin. The project manager told us the new roof would not accumulate any water as they would pitch it so water would run down to the gutters and out. The old roof was accumulating water and I was afraid that eventually water would be seeping into the house.
The first day, the roofers came, pulled to old roof and placed the first layer before leaving for the night. Rain was forecasted that evening and the project manager and I suggested putting a tarp to area what had alredy been laid down. The roofer said it was not needed. Well, at 11:00 that night, after it started to rain, water came pouring down my bathroom and dining room ceilings. Also was cascading down a big picture window.
Th next day the roofers came back with the project manager. The roofers did not want to replace what they had already laid down (which was soaking wet) stating it would dry. I had to insist that it be replaced. While they were taking new insulation to put back on, some of it which was wet because it had stayed out all night, I had to be the one stopping them from putting the wet pieces on.
They proceeded to put the roof on over another 2 day period, (This project was supposed to take 1 1/2 days.) It later rained and I saw water pooling on the new roof. I called the project manager and he said that pooling was to be expected with any flat roof. Unfortunately, while discussing this issue with the project manager over the phone, he started yelling at me. I told him that was not what he sold us. I had pictures to prove it and had sent them to him, but at the time which he denied receiving. So I sent him the screenshots of the texts that were sent. So he came back and argued about it as did the roofer, but eventually they found a way to improve the condition of the roof.
In the mean time we had their handy man ands dry wall repair person. repairing the damage that was done inside the home, which required me taking additional time from my summer vacation. That took 3 more days.
Throughout all this, siding was ruined, flower beds were crushed, a window screen was torn and my barely month old laptop was ruined as water had damaged it.
In addition, I would like to add that the communication between the Atlas project manager and subcontractors was poor and inconsistent. Timelines and expectations differed. For example, the project manager would say a job would be finished that afternnon after we had seen the subcontractors leave 10 minutes before.
They did repair and replace all damaged goods. However the stress and extra time that I needed to take from my time off was unacceptable.
I hope by sharing this information you can make an informed decision regarding their services
Used Atlas Contractors for roof and gutter replacement. Adam and his team had their work cut out for them with a 40 year old shake roof removal, but they nailed it! New roof looks great!
Went with the gutter rx system offered and that works great as well! And all for a very competitive price!
