Update 1/12/2024 Company appears to have folded in mid 2023. Jason came out to quote me a repair (summer 2023) but several messages to the company and direct to Jason have not been returned for over 6 months. Such a shame.

Update 3/6/24. Jason called and explained just a bad run of circumstances. His team came out and did another phenomenal job. So happy to get my work done with them. Five stars!!!!

Installation day was August 18th, and I couldn't have received a nicer birthday present. Your crews were on time, friendly, and efficient. We really appreciated all roofing materials being delivered the day of the installation instead of dealing with huge bundles laying in our driveway days before. The large crane hoisting everything up onto the roof was quite impressive to watch indeed. The entire roofing effort, from initial tear-off–to installation–to final clean-up, was completed in just one day. The gutter replacements were completed in only a few hours. We absolutely love our new roof, and are extremely happy with the MaxDef Shenandoah color choice we made. With it being such a popular color choice, we are so grateful that Ted was able to get it for us before it became unavailable.

We have since received numerous compliments from family, friends, and neighbors on how beautiful our new roof looks, and how well the Max Def Shenandoah compliments all the colors of our brick, siding, trim, shutters, entry door, and window flower box. Ace Roofing was very professional. We had heavy hail damage and Ted McLaughlin, the owner, explained the process throughly. The new roof was done in one day and looks great. Ted and his crew were very professional, friendly and did excellent work. The yard was spotless when they were finished. What I appreciated so much was the fact that they brought the shingles the day they started work on the roof. Other roofers in the area brought their supplies as much as 3 days before they started the job and left them piled on the driveway. Ted didn't do his -- he was so considerate of us and his crew. Many other neighbors used Ace and all were very satisfied! I highly recommend!

Ace Roofing was working at my neighbors house and I asked Ted the owner to come and take a look at my roof. Ted said that I had hail damage and I should call my insurance company. They came out and said they I did have damage and to file a claim. Ted gave me an estimate and I thought that I would get a second opinion but after watching Ted and his group I didn't want anyone else to do my roof. They were very professional, on time and cleaned up perfectly. I could not have picked a better company.

I've been dealing with Ted at Ace for a few years now, at first with smaller jobs, like replacing the boots around vent stacks. I had hail damage this year and was very impressed with how hard Ted worked to get the claim approved with our insurance. Once approved, Ace quickly completed the roof to meet my schedule. They did a great job!

Can’t say enough good things about Ted and this Company. He took care of everything. He dealt with the Farmers insurance adjuster, got the approval, and completed the replacement with professionalism. His crew worked with great efficiency. The clean up was perfect. He did everything he said he would do. Hard to find that today.

Had Ace Roofing replace the roof on my 3-car detached garage 2 weeks ago and it looks great! They even helped mount a large cupola on the roof as well. Will be using them again when the house needs a new roof next year!

From the very beginning, working with Ted at Ace Roofing Services was a breeze. Ace Roofing replaced the roof at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church, Elgin. After an initial inspection, Ace owner Ted McLaughlin suggested we contact our insurance company for consideration of a hail damage claim. We did and the claim was paid. Ace was the only contractor who suggested this action. The roofing job was completed within the scheduled church activities and in a most professional manner. The site supervisor and the work team were professional in every aspect of the work. The job site was left in excellent order, clean and no visible damage to property. We recommend Ace Roofing most high to any commercial or residential project.

Ted and the team at Ace Roofing Services, Inc are top notch when it comes to addressing your roofing needs or concerns. Our home had a few roof related issues and after getting 3 quality quotes from other roofing contractors and comparing them to the Ace Roofing Services, Inc quote they were by far the best deal and the quality of the tear off and installation of the new roof was excellent. There was one minor issue during the installation but it was promptly and professionally addressed. Ted walked us through the options of shingles and the Landmark Pro shingles (Driftwood) and improved roof vents suggested are great. We have been very pleased with the craftsmanship of the installation and the team did an outstanding job of cleaning up our property when the job was completed. Wes was a true professional as he explained every detail of the project. Had ACE roofing do a complete new roof on our horse barn back in 2008. This was a mega project for us. ACE roofing did a wonderful job. They removed the old roof, repaired the beams, replaced damaged siding, got rid of all the old staff and finished the job on time and to our complete satisfaction. Ted McLaughlin had all the experience needed as well as a very skilled workforce to make that happen. Just a few weeks ago I discovered a leak in the garage of our home during a rainstorm. I called ACE roofing again and Ted and his team came the next day and fixed it perfectly.

We recently used Ace Roofing to replace our roof after extensive hail damage and lost shingles. The whole experience was seamless, Ted helped us pick the best new shingle color for our roof and was very informative. The Ace Roofing team was very nice and professional, they checked in when they arrived and made sure to let me know if they needed the gate left open so my dog wouldn’t run out. They even entertained my 3 year olds love of everything construction and answered all his silly questions. Highly recommend!

We needed a new roof on short notice with a tight timeline. We called Ace and they responded right away with a reasonable estimate and a speedy slot on their schedule. They did top-quality work, were personable and professional, and finished the job right before the onset of an unseasonably heavy snowfall. There's little doubt their timely workmanship prevented potentially costly repairs. They even painted the chimney to match the new shingles. We would certainly call Ace again for any future roofing needs.

Your roof is a big part of your home, and you want it done well, so it can be a little intimidating to go about finding someone. But in short order it all became easy for us. Ace Roofing was referred to us and we gave them a call. Not only did they respond very promptly, but we found they are very knowledgeable, did an excellent job, and cleaned up everything. Ted immediately responded to leak in my roof. After reviewing the situation on a 15 year roof he professionally replaced the roof very competitively with a better roof. He also reviewed my attic and increased the vents to improve the ventilation. I am very pleased.

Ace Roofing just replaced our roof. We requested a quote by e-mail and Ted responding very quickly, came out and inspected everything and then scheduled a time to go over the entire proposal. Ted was a pleasure to work with and my wife and I were both quickly convinced that Ace was the company to hire. Ted scheduled the start of work within a few days after we accepted the proposal and was very good at communicating with us throughout the project, especially when weather forced a day's deferral.
