Vietzke Trenchless Inc

I am selling a 1920's rental home on the South Hill, and the inspection showed a large root mass so large the inspector could not get his camera past. Inspector, Roto Rooter, and Kalin excavating both examined the line and said it would have to be dug up and replaced ($8000+ bid). Vietzke looked at the video and immediately noted the root mass was in a private common main shared with my neighbors (news to me, and missed by both other companies) and assured me that they can nearly always get roots gone by hydrojetting them. After getting concurrence from the neighbors I had them come out ($200 per hour with a 2 hour minimum) and Brad Shupp scoped and blasted any roots, including the "too large to remove--you'll have to dig it up" root ball. The roots were stubborn but in less than 2 hours the lines were clear,. He scoped all the way downstream past my neighbor's line to ensure all was clear down there. He managed to turn the equipment upstream from where mine joined the comon main to blast the roots coming from the other neighbor's side. Then we had a heart-warming chat about repair referral commissions, honesty and conscience and sleeping well at night illustrating one of the most scupulously honest people I've ever met! I was able to watch all of his work on a video screen as he went, and take still photos with my phone of the before and after views. He climbed on the roof to use the sewer vent pipe for access to avoid dirtying up the home. Absolutely the best experience, great results, and I would call no one else for future sewer problems in Spokane, and will ask for Brad!

Buyer beware when dealing with Vietske Trenchless, especially if there is an issue with their work at any time after their repairs. Their claims of “satisfaction guaranteed” and “peace of mind” are meaningless. If you have an issue, or future repair, caused by their work, you are most likely to be simply ignored, deflected, and blown off.

Our story: We recently dealt with a repair of a damaged sewer line under our rental house. Initially, we believed it was simply a blocked line. But, after calling a plumbing service (not Vietske), and signing what turned out to be a $13,800 contract—including the need to tear out a large chunk of our foundation, plus the excavation and repair of a hole in the middle of our living room—we discovered that the line in question had actually been damaged by a previous repair to a water line; one which ran parallel to the sewer line beneath the cement slab of our house. This water line repair was done by Vietske Trenchless. We completed the repair—as we didn’t want a large hole and open sewer line in our tenant’s living room—and called Vietske

Danny, from Vietske, came out to inspect the section of sewer line, plus another copper water line (all of which we kept, and still have), to assess the damage. Danny admitted that the damage would have been caused by the repair of the water line. He admitted it was Vietske’s fault! He also said he would need to “talk to Nate” about what Vietske would be willing/able to do. So we waited. And waited. And waited.

Finally we called Vietske, and ended up calling them a total of four additional times over the ensuing weeks/months speaking at various times to “Austin” and “Paul”. Every time, we were told that “Nate” makes these decisions and that “Nate” would be getting back to us. “Nate” never has. Months into this now, even after admitting fault and responsibility, we are still out the cost of repair to our sewer line and are getting no “satisfaction” in dealing with Vietske. We are getting nothing more than ignored.

Vietzke did a great job getting my sewer line replaced - Alex and Noah were especially great, professional and efficient, started and finished the job within three days and all ahead of schedule.

Alex, Noah and Patrick went above what was expected. Yes, my sewer line now works and that's great, but it was the little stuff that really made this team great. I am 100% certain that my floor is cleaner then what it was before they arrived. The finishing work was done so nicely and everything was cleaned so well. After the extremely long and hard hours they put in over the last 3 days they always showed up with a smile and a good sense of humor. I hope to never need their services again, but I will not use anyone else as long as I live in the area.

Brad did all he could to try and clear the blockage. Was able to diagnose a bigger problem but Brad was great to work with.

I was told by another rooter service in Spokane that the sewer pipe from the house to the street had collapsed near the sidewalk and needed to be replaced which they estimated would be $9000. Paul, the technician with Vietzke, scoped the line and found tree roots had almost completely blocked the pipe. After several passes with the hydro jet to remove the roots, they ran the camera through and showed me the pipe was clear to the street and had not collapsed. This saved me about $8700.

Vietzke Trenchless Drain and Rooter was recommended to me by another tradesman. Our tech, Brad, was efficient, friendly, personable, and on time. He did the service (sewer scope) and explained the results well. He was able to take our payment on site and cleaned up quickly. This company also has a competitive rate. Their office staff are friendly and easy to work with as well. 10 stars to this company for their professionalism, kindness, and quality service.

I would give Brad, the technician, more than 5 stars if I could. Completely professional and knowledgeable. I’ve been using Paul and Brad for years and they are fantastic. Today Paul helped me inspect the sewer line from a very steep roof and I felt that the quality of work was above average. Cannot recommend these guys enough, they do really good work.

Mainstream electric told me it was gonna cost 2,000 to hydro jet my pipes, vietzke did it for 400 and did an incredible job. Thank you very much!

Excellent service! Reasonably priced. I needed them over Labor Day weekend and they were out within an hour. I had a kitchen sink that had been clogged for 2 days. He was great he was polite the service was wonderful I would highly recommend them

Kipp and Brad were truly amazing. They came out to the house and listened to our scenario as shared by a handful of other plumbers around town. I have used 2 other local companies for drain clearing. Not as informative and knowledgeable as Paul. Very impressed. Haven't received the bill yet, so not sure about price. If service any representation. I won't be price gauged for a drain clearing.

My older home needs the pipes hydro cleaned every other year. The access is from the roof and some places won't do it. I mentioned to one of my neighbors that it was time to clean them again, and she had heard Vietzke was cheaper than my previous rooters. I'm glad I called because they were able to fit me in that day and saved me $800. Like others have said, Brad was friendly, answered my questions, and was able to do it by himself which hasn't been my experience previously. Give them a call.

They exhibited a very high standard of professionalism every step of the way while exceeding our expectations overall. Im a home inspector in Spokane Wa. (AFFORDABLE HOME INSPECTION LLC).I've been utilizing Vietxke for sewer scopes for a few years now. Danny at the office has always squeezed me on to their schedule even with short notice and after hours. Their technician Brad has always on time if not early. Their customer service, attention to detail, ltheir quality reporra and report turn around time are all top notch in the industry. If you are buying a home in the Spokane area regardless of who your home inspector is DO NOT let them talk you out of a sewer scope . The little money you spend on it could save you thousands.
