Great service from Dan. He gave me a very reasonable bid and, when I accepted the bid, replaced my deck rails the very next day. His workmanship is excellent and he was also very quick. I heartily recommend Vertex!

Dan was willing to tackle the re-build of our bay window which had been added by the previous owner who had clearly chosen a sub-par builder. The work was completed early and on budget inspite of the current high cost of materials. All this was done with a minimum disruption of our daily routine.

If you are looking for a hard-working, honest carpenter for your home improvement project, do yourself a favor and hire Vertex Contracting.

Dan did a wonderful job on our small basement project. He was professional and did quality work FAST. His work allows us to move forward with our project, and we will definitely call him for Phase II.

Dan is great! He's done 3 projects for me so far and is scheduled to come back next week for a fourth project. First off, I had a water leak in the ceiling in my living room. My insurance company sent someone in to tear everything up. Dan came in and put up a temporary fix to keep me warm over the winter. Then after the association put on a new roof, Dan came in and fully repaired the ceiling and the wall. Then he repainted my whole living room, dining room, kitchen and upstairs hallway. He put in new vinyl plank flooring through my entire living room and dining room. While he was here, he painted the floor around my new water softener and furnace in the basement. My next project was my main bathroom. Dan came in and tore out the old tile shower. He put in all new tile and worked with Charlie from Plumbtek to put in all new shower fixtures. Dan also painted my bathroom, hung my new pictures, repaired a leak in my bathroom closet and then painted the bathroom closet. Next up is going to be my bedrooms. Dan is coming next week to paint my bedrooms and either fix or install a new ceiling fan. Dan has helped me pick out the colors, the flooring, the tile, etc through all these projects. He is here when he says he will be and cleans up when he's done for the day. I'm disabled so he had to move everything on his own through all these projects and make sure the space was still accessible for me when he was done. My family was just here for Christmas and couldn't believe how great my place looks. I wish I could post pictures on here. I will hire him again for any projects I need done in the future.

Dan was very professional, worked hard, completed work on time. He was available for questions, and responsive to customers ideas. I would hire him again.

Dan is 5-star all the way. Started on the day promised and finished the job early. Exceptional carpenter able to translate our design aspirations to the finished product. Cleaned up every day. Came in on budget. Successfully worked through our daily list of design options and issues. Our project scope included total remake of mud room / furnace area and substantial makeover of master bath. Entire project completed within 6 weeks.

Dan arrived at the time he promised and performed everything that we discussed at the price of his estimate. I will use him again for handyman or construction projects.

Dan built a beautiful porch on the front of our house. With that, he installed a new front door, changed out a window, hung a new light fixture. It was so fun to see the design come to life. Dan's knowledge and skills are awesome!

Dan's a terrific guy to work with and, with my experience, was upfront and honest with opinions and suggestions. Not to mention his rates and fees seem very fair. Had a relatively small project that needed to be done and he was the only one who even bothered to respond from about 35 different contractors reached out to on various platforms. Quality of work seems to be excellent and he and whoever he brings in on a job are very pleasant and respectful. Not to mention how well they clean up after themselves.
Be warned, though, probably due to the quality of work, he is in high demand so probably not going to be able to get him in on a rush job. But still, give him a call, you never know.

Dan completed a bathroom and kitchen remodel for me and it was a great experience! He was knowledgeable and willing to make adjustments to get the floors and paint colors just right. You can expect a reliable estimate and timely completion of the construction. I have a small exterior concrete project coming up and I plan to call Dan!
