Chris was very professional and made sure I was well aware of the condition of my roof and what he recommended for my situation. When I agreed to the work, it began much quicker than I expected and was completed in a very timely fashion. He’s a great person to do business with and I highly recommend his business.

OK, there are a lot of “roofing companies” out there, and it’s likely they are all about the same. Since most homeowners are not “roofers” we have to trust the company we hire to educate us and lead us through the entire process of getting a new roof… and it’s not as simple as you may think.

We had hail damage to our roof in May; clearly it was time for a new roof. Our insurance suggested we call Chris Grimes at Verde, telling us that they had found Verde to be responsive and reliable. So we called Mr. Grimes. Our agent was right, Chris was super-responsive from initial contact through completion. Further, Chris led us through the completely bewildering dealings with the insurance company, ensuring we were treated fairly.

The roofing business is not the world I’ve lived in; I am so grateful that Mr. Grimes had the knowledge, experience, and patience to guide us. We now have a gorgeous new roof! Thanks Chris!

Chris and his crew did an extraordinary job on our new roof and various exterior and interior repairs. We were 110% satisfied with the overall service Verde Roofing provided to our family. Our insurance company basically denied our claim after the first go around with them, but Chris really helped us navigate through getting them to reconsder and fully cover our hail and wind damaged roof. Chris definitely over delivered throughout the entire process, and we will not hesitate to recommend Verde Roofing to family, friends, and neighbors. Please consider this a 7 star rating because 5 doesn't do our experince with Verde Roofing enough justice.

I had a small leak in a 5 year old house garage corner. A neighbor recommended Verde. Chris came over in a day to take a look, flew a drone to take a look. I got a very reasonable quote in a few days. And a couple more days I have the roof fixed. Original builder had rushed it (see picture)

I told Chris that there was an active minor leak and he immediately scheduled someone to come over check and fix the issue; the charges were also nominal; he later sent him once again to check the whole house roof and not just the leak to make sure all is good

Very professional company. Verde Roofing was recommended by a good friend. I thought I had extensive roof damage from the April storms and requested an inspection. Chris came out and took a look and assured me the damage was minor and I didn't need to replace my roof. Big relief to me and I impressed with the company and the service. No high pressure sales talk to file a claim and try to get a new roof when it wasn't necessary.

Chris came to my home to check my roof. He used a drone, as my roof is a Spanish Style with metal components and can’t be walked on. He did a fabulous inspection!!! He identified my roof as a Class 4, which reduced my insurance payment. Chris is the owner; he was thorough and extremely professional and polite. He has your best interest in mind and is honest, organized and prompt! I highly recommend him and his company, Verde Roofing! It is great to know there is someone who sincerely cares and advises as if you were family.

Chris Grimes, owner, was actually on the job site during our attic vent install and repair. He was very honest with us without trying to upsell more than what was required for this project. We were extremely impressed with Chris and feel like his employees are modeled after him as well.

Chris and his team were super responsive. We sprung a leak on our roof that came through an electric socket in our bedroom ceiling during intense rain. They came out and replaced the little turbine thing on the roof and patched it up quickly. They did not try to sell us a new roof - but fixed the problem professionally. They also cleared out our gutters which sorely needed it as our roof is too high for us to get to. It’s great knowing there are businesses out there that are so easy to work with AND are honest. Highly recommend Verde Roofing.

I wish there was a way to give 10 stars for Chris Grimes (owner) and Verde roofing. My wife and I recently moved into our home and discovered a faulty roof system that we did not know about.

After 4 companies had come by and struggled to identify the issue or provide a concrete plan, I finally found Verde and they blew all the others away. He and his team knew exactly what to do and provided a transparent cost estimate and had a crew there in days. It took Verde just a day and a half to completely finish the work and the roof looks amazing - and considering the entire roof was compromised after years of water seepage, that's something to be admired.

Whenever you have a big job come up at the house, it always comes with anxiety and Chris G. is the best to guide you through it. I cannot recommend Verde enough. Working with them was hands down the best experience I have had as a homeowner.

He even came out when the insurance adjuster was inspecting the house and was able to show some damage that the inspector missed. He worked tirelessly with the insurance company and followed up with them multiple times when we didn't get any response from the insurance company.Chris explained the process and forms in detail and made the entire process hassle free. My last roofer had installed horrible gutters that didn’t work over the front entrance to my house and caused a hole in my front bed from not draining correctly and water pouring out over the top of the gutter. When I contacted Verde roofing - Dameon looked at the gutter - noted immediately that it needed wider gutters and downspouts to accommodate the drainage from the many roof surfaces. I also needed covers because of a large tree near the gutter that caused further problems. He inspected the rest of the roof gutters while here and suggested covers for two other spots near trees. When they came to install the gutters, they were fast and efficient. Thankful that I will no longer have issues! Thank you Verde Roofing!

Chris worked hard to find a matching cement roof tile. He did an excellent job replacing it. I highly recommend him and would hire him again.

Chris Grimes might just be the most professional roofer in Dallas but after all my experiences with contractors over the past year I can say for sure he is the most reliable Dallas.
Chris was thorough, noting damage that went beyond my roof and working with my insurance adjuster to be sure everything was considered. The work seemed like it was over before it started, they were in and out in a few days. The best thing was, when it was done it was done. No lingering punch lists that make a project drag on. He even got me a great deal on a hail resistive roof upgrade. Reroofing and insurance claims are always a headache, but Verde Roofing made it so simple I highly recommend you call them the next time Mother Nature takes out your roof.

Chris and his Team at Verde Roofing did an incredible job start to finish! They installed a new roof on my dads house in Allen, TX. And they installed a new roof on my house in Lake Highlands, Dallas, TX. Both our roofs were damaged when storms rolled through our areas. Chris assisted us in getting our claims submitted to our insurance providers and helped us throughout the entire process. I was very impressed at how clean they left everything! I gave Chris at Verde Roofing a call on a Monday in order to schedule an inspection on the roof to a house I was looking to buy. Even with other clients and some life circumstances, he was able to make it out on Wednesday of the same week, and had the thorough inspection report done for me just about 48 hours after my initial call. This responsiveness was very important to me, as I was in the middle of an option period and time was of the essence. He was kind, respectful, and professional throughout all of our interactions.

I called Chris on a Sunday and he went out of his way to come check out a roof. He is very responsive and was the only one that is willing to come out on a Sunday. Chris is very professional and we talked about all of the issues with the roof. The next day, he came out again to speak with my insurance adjuster to make sure that the claim will go smoothly.
