Velazquez Painting and Construction

Called them to do a quote to paint my house. Another written review showed them to cover rotten wood, not give written estimates and be unprofessional. My appointment was 10am, after calling them at 10:30am, they called me to say they are late and heading here (45 min). He shows up at 12pm with excuses, no updates. Asks me how much I want to pay for the job!! Then quotes $400 to $500 per hour for the job on the spot, no written quote... I am going with someone else or doing it myself for that cost.

I requested a bid on a project. Was told it would be an hourly job likely taking a couple of days. Based on the hourly rate quoted to me the cost would be between 4-500$ dollars. The proposal sent to me was > 2750$ for the same project. Another contractor completed the project for the $400. When I asked Velazquez about the inflated quote, they did not respond.

It took weeks for a return call. When a young man showed up for estimate he assured me he would send it by email. I waited a few weeks and contacted him again. He said he’d send it that evening. Four weeks later I called the company and complained. Who would want these folks at your home?

These guys prepped and painted our trim and exterior doors. They were nothing but skilled professionals. Nice and considerate too. 100% satisfaction. Viva Velazquez!

We have a vacation home Antonio Velasquez has done a ton of work on. He had to do French drains, new columns, cement pad and walkway, painting, and other general construction. He's very particular about his work and makes sure it's done to the highest standard. He's been very helpful with the insurance company as needed also. If you want work you can trust this is the way to go.
