We live in Lexington and have a high-end home that we wanted done very well. Many of the local roofers cut corners. Valley Roof had no issues coming from Harrisonburg and were meticulous. They went above & beyond and the project manager has continued to answer questions well after the project. He is a top notch professional, articulate, kind and detailed. Can’t thank them enough!

We have used this company twice, to enclose our back porch and to replace our entire gutter system. They are always friendly and efficient. It’s amazing how quickly they work. We had a minor issue with the gutters and they came right back out the same day and fixed it for us. A great experience both times. They have customers for life with us. I was very impressed with the crew that did my gutters. They were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. They did an outstanding job and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We were really excited with the job they did on the roof, it started off nice. Some minor complaints like tar paper, red dust from the chimney, and some weird tar dust that I had to keep blowing off the porch. Considering the last roofing job we had 20 years ago this was totally acceptable! Unfortunately, the pain came shortly after job completion and continues today. We continually find nails in the yard, including old roofing nails with one ending up in my tire. No follow through. They promised to use plastic around the property and run a large magnet around our yard, but we continued to find nails. We contacted them and sent pictures of the nails found and they said someone would come out to check the yard again with a magnet. Maybe... never saw that person but my granddaughter and nephew found 2 more nails today while hunting Easter eggs in our yard! Guess the kids were better than a magnet? We chose Valley Roofing because of their reputation for exceptional service, but unfortunately we did not experience that at all. I don't do reviews, but I feel compelled to do so this time, because after multiple communications with the company, their response is that our experience 'is unusual'... so they get my "unusual" review! Buyer beware!

Fast, honest, dependable, quote and bill the same, quality materials, installer was fast and very detailed and particular, will use them again!

I reached out to Valley Roofing for a quote to clean my gutters, which have a gutter guard system. I had planned to do it myself but quickly realized it was more than I could manage. I called on a Monday, and they had someone scheduled for the very next day. Zach called with an update and let me know he had already taken care of the cleaning. When I asked about the cost, he told me there would be no charge based on the time involved. I work in customer service myself, and I truly admire the level of professionalism, kindness, and integrity shown throughout this experience. I was expecting to pay upwards of $300, so this was a huge relief. I can’t thank Zach and the Valley Roofing team enough. I’ll absolutely be calling them again and recommending them to others. We hired Valley Roofing to take down our very large deck and replace it with a newer deck and screened in porch. They suggested a design that works great and we love. We ran into an issue with the composite deck boards. Valley Roofing stuck with us throughout the process - calling the manufacturer over and over to get us a replacement. In the end, they replaced the problematic boards and changed something else we didn’t like for free. John was the project manager. He was very responsive, helping us through the long warranty process and in the end helped us get exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend!

Harlen and his crew built a beautiful new deck for us. He and his crew went above and beyond. The craftsmanship is furniture quality and all of our neighbors are sure to be jealous. We couldn't be happier. Unfortunately, the photos don't capture the beauty or the quality.

From the first consultation to the final walk through, the folks at Valley Roofing were amazing. We live in a historic district so there were multiple hoops to jump through to get our porch, privacy wall, ceiling, and deck rebuilt. They stuck with us, and the end result is stunning. Scot and Steven did an amazing job. I was notified prior to their arrival and the work was completed in a timely manner. They reviewed with me the work that was done and showed me the photos that were taken during each stage of the work.

Valley Roofing saved the day for us. Their crew expertly installed an extensive section of half-round guttering where another company had badly bungled the job. Yes, the VR cost was higher but in the final analysis it was a fair price and, in our case, a very good value.

We are also quick to report that VR was prompt and professional at every step of the process. The quote was provided quickly and clearly, and the work was done on exactly the schedule they promised. Importantly, we were promised follow-up service in the event any fine-tuning of the installation was necessary.

And, finally, the team members were all as friendly as they were competent and professional. In short, the customer service was exceptional.

We were very happy with Valley Roofing. Steve took a lot of time explaining and showing how all the various roof materials would be installed. He patiently answered our questions and provided information we requested. The installers were methodical, efficient, courteous, and amazingly mindful of protecting our plants and trees around the house. While we find an occasional roofing nail or small piece of old shingle, the clean up was great. Communication was generally good but it’s a big company so be aware that there are several people you will interact with at different times. Highly recommend.

Valley roofing did a good job of repairing my roof. They even moved my appointment up so that I wouldn't have leaking. I did think that it was very expensive.

Just moved in the house in July. Have had to need services of various companies and most disappointed. Prices were out of line and some a little arrogant when questioned. Valley Roofing was a pleasure. The initial visit gave detailed description of the repair with photos and the price was reasonable. They came on time, professional and treated us like customers. This was the best experience I have had with any contractor, ever. The designer and crew showed great knowledge and experience and explained every aspect of the project clearly. When the county rejected our initial covered deck plan, they modified the design to create what has become the showpiece of the neighborhood. Everyone was great to work with. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Estimator came out to figure cost and plus give ideas to improve my home. Things that I had thought about in the pass, so it cost a little more, but it is worth it. Work was professionally done. Workers respected property.

This happened to us the first winter after moving into a new house built by a reputable builder. This problem description by VR is awesome and underscores how knowledgeable they are.

Mike Brubaker is a treasure. He helped me with all the pre-project anxiety that i had from previous unpleasant home improvement projects. He was professional, obviously very educated and experienced in roofing. He led the roofing crew with respect and care. He was part of the team. He made me feel that he would make sure the job was done right. If i was the company owner, I would do whatever is necessary to keep him happy.
As for the crew, led by Pablo, they were all great. All were respectful of me and everyone else. I would keep them happy too. I was amazed at the speed that they worked, and how well they all worked together.
These guys are great. I would recommend them to everyone.

Regarding window replacement, the team was very nice, but the quality of the new windows is terrible. Also, installation was a mess. I smell mold around some windows. Feel wind blowing in around some windows. Windows are not uniform in size. Top half of windows drop down so window is not locked when it is supposed to be.
