Initial contact with owner Paul Vartelas, 3 separate jobs completed quickly and professionally.
Each of the following 3 jobs, were professionally completed, quick response, courteous before, during and after, totally cleaned around the house and yard.
2010-Total roof replacement, removed 3 layers of shingles, installed all appropriate roofing requirements. A very big job, in every respect, all professionally complete, a job well done.
2023-Several pcs of trim and siding blown loose in a windstorm, Paul and his team responded the next day to repair.
2025-During a rainstorm, a baseball size hole through my roof, under solar energy panels, allowed water damage in attic. Quick responses by Solar Energy and Valley Roofing and Siding Inc., prevented more water damage.

We have a '50's ranch home in Woodbridge which we have lived in for about 30 years. After about 23 years, our existing roof began to rapidly show signs of wear. Recent extreme wind and rain conditions added to our urgency to proactively take on this costly but necessary home project. Additionally, our original gutters were badly worn and I no longer can safely climb a ladder to clear out the significant debris which accumulates each spring and fall from our nearby trees. Valley Roofing and Siding was recommended to us by our neighbor who incurred heavy storm damage last year. Our neighbor was very pleased with the quality workmanship and ease in dealing with Valley Roofing and Siding and co-owner Chris Vartelas.

I contacted Chris through a phone number on the Company website and described the project in a phone conversation. Within a week, Chris visited our home, climbed a ladder onto our roof and thoughtfully measured the job. About two weeks later, Chris delivered a carefully prepared proposal. We were pleased that Chris also spent the time to go over the proposal in detail. We had a few proposal clarifications to which I provided a written addendum. Admittedly, I can be formal in my communications when it comes to expensive home projects. All of our questions were ironed out and the cost was acceptable to us. Chris assured me that Valley Roofing and Siding stands behind their work, which mitigated our concerns about possible issues related to future product or installation failures.

We had some start date restrictions in our calendar, but Chris flexed to a start date about three weeks out. On the project start date, a crew arrived at 7AM and went to work. A dumpster and roofing materials were delivered later in the morning and the project took off. The project contract was detailed with a scope for the complete removal and installation of a new roofing and gutter system. The system was built to specification, which generally included i) existing roof and gutter removal, ii)
replacement of any aged / damaged plywood and facia boards, iii) the installation of a new waterproofing and roofing system, and iv) installation of a new (screened) gutter and downspout system. We were pleased to see substantive completion of the project in three days. On the fourth day, gutter screens, punch-list items and dumpster removal completed the project. Special attention was paid to clean up nails and other debris throughout the project.

One nice aspect of the project management was that Chris was on site a portion of each day, available to answer any of our questions and to meet with his foreman who manages the project on site. Chris is an affable, knowledgable and consummate professional. He and his brother operate the business which they grew up in and took over from their founding father following his passing. There is no doubt that Chris stays abreast of industry developments and is passionate about his work. It is evident that each of Chris' decisions are centered on quality, fairness and preservation of the solid Company reputation developed over two generations. I did not meet Chris' co-owner brother, but it seems likely that these are shared values between brothers.

Overall, the project went smoothly and we could not be more pleased with the quality craftsmanship, reliability, and professionalism provided by Valley Roofing and Siding from the project initiation to completion.

We can't say enough good things about Valley Roofing and Siding! Paul, the owner was incredibly easy to work with and so nice! I wasn't sure what color roofing I would want so he brought over samples to show me in person. He was so helpful in making sure my vision came to life.

Additionally, his team was so thorough, they noticed where water had been coming in from the roof line to our dining room and fixed the issue. The team also fixed some damaged boards on the side of our house. They completed the roofing, shutters and attic fan/venting in just 3 days!!

Valley Roofing and Siding did an amazing job on bringing my detached garage back to life! After a tree had fallen on it, the roof and siding needed to be completely rebuilt and replaced. Great experience. I never give reviews but this company earned one. Above and beyond any expectation. Chose Valley Roofing after getting five estimates. Picked them for their three generations of stellar reputation. Also they took a lot of time upfront before getting the job to advise me. Valley Roofing did a great job. On time and on budget. I have said ten times at least " wow, these guys are the best". They even sent a man back afterwards, with out my noticing or asking , to paint two little 3rd floor soffet screw heads that did not match the house" Really, where can you get this kind of thoughtful and complete service? I give them an 11 on the 1 to 10 scale.

They did my roof a few years ago which went smooth with no issues. So I decided to have the siding replaced on the house and once again another incredible job, five stars isn’t enough. Valley Roofing and Siding did a top notch job renovating my home. I had my old wood shingles replaced with vinyl siding, some windows replaced, a door replacement and new gutters. From beginning to end, Paul and his team were there every step of the way. The team was very professional and extremely detailed oriented. I was impressed with their craftsmanship and their skill set. They came early everyday and when they were finished they made sure to clean up too. Each day Paul was on site to survey the progress, answer any questions, and communicate any changes or adjustments. Overall it was a great experience and my house looks brand new ! The price he gave me was less than the prices I had received from 2 other siding companies that gave me a price prior to my friend had referal. when Paul's employees showed up to do the repair he was very respectful and professional to his employees which impressed me as well which I assume is why the quality of his work was great. I hired Valley Roofing and Siding to install gutter guards on my home. They did a fabulous job, even pulling apart and thoroughly cleaning the gutters and downspouts before installing the gutter guards. We have some atypical gutters in spots, and the guards were installed carefully with an eye towards aesthetics.
