Valley Boys Roofing

We hired Valley Boys for roofing our home as a result of hail damage. They inspected and wrote us up for roof replacement and gutter replacement. I am confused as to why they didn't discuss or handle proper air ventilation in the attic at the time of their inspection. They ended up covering over a vent, very much needed and failed to provide any sort of intake throughout the roof area. We thought these were professional roofers and unfortunately at the time of home inspection when we sold the property, 80% of our attic was filled with mold. Upon having them review this, they said that this was not their problem since we didn't specifically ask for this and it wasn't on their paperwork. I would not recommend hiring this company for any services. In my experience, the good business practice is to respond to adversity versus being defensive and in denial.

I needed a second opinion regarding the roof condition of the house I'm going to buy, the roof was 9 years old and the area has seen some storms and hails. I called them because of several signs they left on my neighbours' front yards. I assumed that they've done a good job because the signs were kept for a while.

The lady answered the phone was energetic and friendly and I set up an inspection on the second day with no trouble. Daniel the roof specialist arrived exactly on time with courteous attitude and lot of experience despite the fact that he's a young fellow, which made me at ease watching him climbing up a steep roof.

Daniel spent a good 20 mins inspecting the whole roof with great attention and even the perimeters. He clearly went extra mile by picking up something overlooked by my home inspector, which was a downspout missing.

Daniel offered an honest opinion regarding the roof after he's done inspection, he assured me that the roof was generally in a good condition and needs no replacement at the moment and it could last another several years without major impact. So I parted with him with one less thing to concern and lot of respect for the way they've done business.

So although I didn't have the chance to see their craftsmanship, their attitude and honesty won me over, I'll definetly go to them if I'll need anything done on my roof in the future.

When the storm tore through Millard last year, my roof took a beating! Valley Boys sent Carlos over to assess the damage and start repairs. His crew worked quickly, were as quiet as they could be and cleaned up like they were never there. The roof is now better than the original, with improved ventilation that has helped keep the temperature in my house more uniform. I wouldn't call anyone else!

I called Valley Boys for an estimate in April after the hailstorm. I was put on their list and the first call I received was in June. They left me a message and asked me if they could set up a time to come out and give me an estimate. I just received another call at the end of July and left a message asking the same thing. Seriously? You waited until June to call me the first time and you expect to get my business. I had my roof taken care of in April.

Brett stated they were a preferred vender for State Farm and give the $1000.00 to get in line for the roof repair. yet my State Farm agent said they have no preferred vendors and State Farm has never indorsed Valley boys and on the contrary State Farm legal department is taking action for the false representation and stay away from Valley Boys Why not be honest? my agent asked"did he ask you for a down payment"? yep that's exactly what he did seems to be a pattern here
