Had us sign the contract with said monthly payments, then decided to do credit checks, just to say oh no, you have to pay a higher monthly payment. Blake, tried to blame our credits as to why they had us sign contract with monthly payment that worked with us. also they had us do a review before anything was said and done, even before signing contract. Lots of false advertisement and false statements to rope you in. This was the 7th roofing company we had come out and quote us, before we decided go through with this company. We obviously backed out.

Great service from Frankie. They came out and fixed a skylight leak quickly and affordability. I’ll 100% be using them for any future roofing needs. Highly recommend.

Blake the salesman did a good job explaining the whole system to us, I wasn’t expecting a presentation and honestly thought it was silly at first but afterwards I’m glad they did this because I wasn’t aware of all the different options. I came out more knowledgeable than before and it really helped me understand what I was spending my money on. Kinda wish other trades like HVAC, plumbing etc would do this.

Roofing crew had my old roof off and new roof on in one full day, with the upgraded intakes and ridge vents, which take extra time. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Only recommendation for these guys is take a little time after the jobs finished and clean up a little better afterwards, had to rinse off some dirt and debris that were left on my house. Small issue but I do maintain my house well and those little details go along way with me.

Kendra came and we inspected the finished product, I noted some minor issues I had and she was totally understanding and willing to get someone back there to help fix them asap, lots of companies are well versed in deflection and making things seem like there not a big deal but it wasn’t like that at all. Gives me major confidence that if any further issues arise that they will be here for me.

I can now feel confident with my new roof and gutters and can recommend them to my friends and family.

Great company to work with! Blake the gentleman that came to do my quote actually listened to me and gave me a very accurate quote. I know the roof was in really bad shape and a lot of the planking needed to be replaced. His quote actually reflected a reasonably accurate amount of planking in the quote. It did end up being a few more boards which you never fully know until the shingles are off. I truly appreciate the thoroughness of this company. They also did my entire roof in a day! I am blown away at how amazing this company is and have referred several people so far.

Valiant Roofing did a great job on our house! There was, as is with most home projects, a few hiccups. The company did an amazing job making this right and ensuring the job was done to our satisfaction. I especially appreciated the crew that came to do our gutters. They ended up having to stay longer than expected to re-do some of the job. Overall, I'd highly recommend. Valiant replaced my roof almost two years ago and I signed off without getting on a ladder to look at everything I could. While looking into a gutter leak I noticed gouges on a small area of the siding near the new roof. I took a photo of it and sent it to customer service. They looked at it and promptly remedied the issue. Great experience all around!

When I moved in, I knew I would need a roof replacement. During that homebuying process, the quote had been done through Valiant via our realtor, so we contacted Valiant and had two other quotes done when it was time to get that replacement completed.

It was no contest, and Valiant did a great job. It's now 6 months since service was done, and the roof looks great and has been absolutely issue-free, shrugging off changes in weather and firework showers from 4th of July celebrations. Would definitely use again (though it may be years before that's necessary)!

Valiant Roofing installed new shingles on my summer home. The staff provided photos of various roof colors they had installed recently, which helped me in my roof choice. The crew came on the day they said they would, installed new shingles and 2 new solar tubes. They did a great job, finished in 2 1/2 days. They were friendly but business-like. They took great care to keep the solar tubes spotless and to clean up after their work. I would use them again and highly recommend them. Their price was very competitive. My roof looks great with nicely color-matching vents! Very attractive.

very clean and professional. when I called them about a few cosmetic blemishes they came right out and took care of them right away.

Jack and his team were wonderful to work with from getting a free no strings attached inspection to ultimately scheduling in the work and seeing the finished product. The roof on a home I just purchased needed a lot of work done to bring it up to code and general repairs due to negligence from the previous company that installed the roof. Jack was very clear on explaining which issues needed to be repaired asap and very importantly which issues could be ignored for now as they would have a low probability for causing serious issues. This to me is the mark of an honest contractor which to be frank are few and far between these days. Bottom line is if you need some roof help or someone to give an honest opinion/quote for a job, do yourself a favor and give them a call.

Our original roof had been improperly installed and was leaking and there was mold damage. Valiant was able to put us on the schedule quickly and replaced plywood and installed a new roof and additional venting that was needed. They also called in a specialist to treat the mold. They did a good job cleaning up afterward.

I had a leak in my roof after a storm which was dripping down into my living room.  I called several places that had no one available for at least a week to give me an estimate.

I called Valiant and they were able to send Blake out the next day. The repairs were made the morning after that.  Great service and turnaround. Blake was wonderful to work with - I appreciate him explaining the issue and providing the before and after photos.

I would definitely use them again based on this experience.

I had a small leak in my roof above the garage. Valiant Roofing fixed the leak very quickly for a fair price. Very pleased with the work they performed and communication through out the project. My roof will probably need to be replaced in couple of years because it is getting old and I will definitely give them a call for a full roof replacement.

UPDATE A YEAR and HALF LATER:....
Well I eventually ended up needing a full roof replacement. Had some more leaks in other places on my roof. It was time for a new roof...started my roofing research again....and came back to Valiant.

Valiant Roofing did an outstanding job on installing a new roof on my house. I totally recommend them. I really like the fact that they are a Owens Corning (OC) Platinum Preferred Contractor, offer material and workmanship up to 50 years and have in-house crews. I was impressed with Valiant's price, workmanship, product line and warranty offerings. I am a very picky person and I normally conduct a ton of research on things I do not know much about. I interviewed several 4.5 -5.0 google star review roofing companies and Valiant was much more professional in all aspects than the other companies. After I signed the contract, Valiant was able to quickly fit me into their schedule and finished the job in a couple of days. My roof was 22 years old and Valiant was extremely careful about meeting all of the newest roofing code requirements. They installed the roof in a very professional and safe manner. Roofing site was left clean when the job was completed. Another reason I chose Valiant, was because they use OC shingles which in my opinion (based upon all of the research I did) are the best shingles on the market for the Northwest area. OC offers 30 and 50 year roofing warranties. I was supplied with all of the warranty information at the end of the job.

This company is by far the best experience I have had! They regularly kept me updated. From the moment I called for an estimate they treated me as a person/family. Blake came out and did the estimate and was very thorough on options and explained everything in great detail. Kendra and her crew did an amazing job from day one, because of their dedication to detail and hard work my neighbors are jealous of my new roof. I will definitely recommend them and use them for future exterior upgrades!
This company and the people know how to treat customers, you really do walk away feeling that you now have new friends.

edit2: Valiant just finished the last bits of the project. Long story short, they replaced the kitchen sun tunnel as it was incongruent with the newly installed roof, and also went out of their way to order yellow-tinted diffuser as the new one added a blue glow.

I weighted the star-rating and went with 5. Jack has been on top of resolving my concerns. Valiant Roofing didn't have to do any of the above, but they did and I would be happy to recommend them to anybody. No job is going to go 100% smooth and their response speaks volumes over the competition.

edit: Jack (company rep with whom I communicated/planned the job) contacted me within an hour of leaving this review and scheduled a time, same day, to resolve my issues. He just left after fixing the live-wire threat and cleaned the sun tunnels. One of the sun tunnels still needs some work and a company rep is going to come out and fix it within 2 weeks or so. I'll further update the review then.

I contracted Valiant Roofing to replace my aging shingles as well as install sheathing on top of the wood slates used back in the 60s and my experience with the company has left a lot to be desired.

I corresponded with Jack Divine on all planning and he was definitely helpful and was the only decent part of my experience with Valiant Roofing. The contracting company (or maybe it was a team employed by his company?) directly contributed to an experience leaving me unable to recommend Valiant Roofing to anybody.

The whole reason I went with Valiant Roofing was their Platinum partnership with Owens Corning and the fact they could get the specific shingle design I want. It was my great surprise, upon checking the work, the contractors were in the middle of installing a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT pattern. They had to stop construction, remove the already installed pattern, and wait to get the correct pattern delivered before resuming work.

But I am getting ahead of myself. first, after old shingle tear down and after installing new sheathing, the under-layment they laid out was full of huge wrinkles. They contractors on scene did nothing to fix it until I called the project supervisor and asked them to intervene.

Both these events left me with little choice than to observe the workers install the roof so other corners weren't cut, I had zero confidence at this point.

Roof is installed,

I went to inspect the roof after the contractors left and found numerous (at least 4 instances) of nails being shot through the wrong part of the shingle and also being exposed to the elements. I called the project manager and she came by personally to inspect and clean up more mess left behind. She recalled the contractors to come by and resolve the substandard shingle nail job as well as further clean the work area. After this the roof job was done.

I called the company later to complain about debris in the sun tunnels. They sent out the same team to clean and I'm still upset at this interaction and this is the reason I even wrote what I'd say is a critical review.

I asked them to fix the alignment of the sun tunnels as light was escaping into my attic, and to clean the debris. They did not clean the insides of the sun tunnels as I requested. They ignored one of the sun tunnels completely and did a lackluster tape job on the other which did not resolve the escaping light issue.

When I pointed out the remaining debris, they suggested I call Jack Divine and contract him to install a completely new sun tunnel as it would be cheaper. What?

Okay, so fast forward to today, I'm inspecting my attic and I look at one of the spots in the roof where previously existed a vent. I see a LIVE romex cable touching the metal panic installed by Valiant Roofing. No effort made to safely cap it. I was not even notified of the fire danger. Completely messed up if you ask me.

For what it is worth, there was a language barrier (I don't speak Spanish well) between me and the contractors doing the work. This made communication extremely difficult and I felt my concerns for this over $18000 job mostly ignored.

Super pleased with Jack at Valiant Roofing! He is timely and communicative, and very thorough! Having a reliable company on your side is imperative, and I am thankful for his responsiveness and professionalism. Thank you, Jack!

I can’t say enough great things about Valiant! We had siding work and framing repair from rot, post replacement in the crawl space, vent addition in the attic and roof work. The work that was done was excellent. Jack at Valiant is knowledgeable, professional and truly cares for his customers. His employees were also kind, professional and very informative. They always took pictures and sent them to me before and after each job. They took the time and care in each job as if it was their own home. I would highly recommend Valiant for any roofing, siding, and attic needs.

They did a great job and I know it was done right the first time.. you get what you pay for and for the price, I know it was a great value. We had the 50 year roof put on and it will be the last roof for us. Now we never have to worry about it ever again. The crew of four knocked it out from tear off to replacement of 44 sheets of plywood in three days. Clean up was flawless. I think they even cleaned out the gutters. So if you need a new roof, and you will, go with this company. I highly recommend them.

We had a giant limp stab into our mainfloor roof on a REALLY steep pitch during this last storm. I couldn't safely access it on my own so I called Valiant. They had a guy out within the evening to assess the problem and made sure we could make it through the weekend ok. Then Monday they got it all taken care of and patched up. They were communicative and quick, and the repair looks good!

Jack's company roofed my grandparents house and my goodness did they just do the best job. First off Jack is extremely nice without the cheesy car salesman pitch. He knowledgeable, clean cut and very kind and this was him at the start all the way to the finish. Just a genuine person. They communicated with us promptly, did a great job with clean up on the tear off, then they installed the roof not only fast but it was all straight and the details were done with top quality craftsmanship. The crew was very respectful of my grandmothers landscaping, patio furniture, cars etc. I have used other roofers in the past and naturally there were some sort of issue here and there. This was smooth and fast along with good pricing. I chose not to take the cheapest contractor and I am glad I didn't as I have learned that lesson in the past. Don't make my mistake and take into the consideration of how many headaches do you want with the cheap guy. Thank you again for doing the Howden Residence in Boring! If I could give them 10 stars I would. We had just come off of a difficult experience with another company and everyone at Valiant went above and beyond with every single detail. As the job progressed small and large surprises came up and they were responsive and supportive through all of it. They took time to explain everything they were doing and why and offered different solutions along the way so we understood our options. We ended up doing a little more than we originally anticipated and I am glad we did because the quality of the results are fantastic. Not only is the quality of the work amazing but everyone we came in contact with from the owner to the person cleaning up at the end of the job were friendly and engaging. Valiant just finished replacing our 24 yr old roof. The entire process from quote to finish was responsive and professional. We called Valiant and explained the situation and they sent Aaron out for an inspection the next day. He identified several areas that needed repairs and got us scheduled for the fixes within days.
