Val is highly recommended. I spent quite some time trying to find a contractor to repair my deck. Most would not touch the job. Val was recommended by a friend of a friend. I couldn't be happier. I had a large post and stair stringer that were rotting. The post supported a stair landing as well as the roof 20' above ground. Made me more than a little nervous. They were very professional, careful, and quick. Everything accomplished in one day. Most impressive part of the job is how clear they left the site.

Val was so cheerful, professional, punctual and just down right amazing. His quality of work was excellent and I am looking foward to using his services again when the need arises.

I had to change the plans several times for my HOA approval and they met all of my needs every time without complaint. Highly recommend and will hire them again for any future projects.

VAL Building solutions recently constructed a patio cover on the back of my house. They came on the day we had snow and cold weather. It only took 2 days even in the cold. They completed the job, cleaned up and put the patio chairs back in place. Very happy with the job.

We were looking for a new deck in 2020 and had called multiple contractors. They would either quote tens of thousands more than the going price, not quote at all, or give me a start date months out. It just so happened that my kitchen was being remodelled and this contractor recommended Val Building solutions. Val and his son Igor came within the next couple days and I had a reasonable quote and a start date within a reasonable timeframe. I hired them on the spot and a couple weeks later my deck was underway. Val and his worker showed commitment and integrity as they came early every day and worked a full day. They paid close attention to detail as not only was the job structurally sound, but it was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. They were also very cheerful while they worked and it was nice watching them as I was working from home. They didn’t leave a mess and cleaned up after they left. I could tell they took pride in their work even till the end. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in contracting out their home project.

Val and his crew installed a large wooden fence around a small neighborhood I own of 11 houses. Quality was #1 and communication was great! Highly recommended.

Val was recommended by our kitchen cabinet installer (Paul) after he saw the dismal shape our deck was in. Paul mentioned that Val and he attended the same church and did excellent work. When Val and his son Igor first came to see us we were slightly confused, Val communicated via his son Igor due to the language barrier. There was a lot of gesturing and relaying of ideas but they were pleasant and professional. We took a chance with Val since Paul was such an honest guy and went above and beyond his statement of work on our kitchen, we thought he wouldn’t give us a bad recommendation. We were not disappointed. The crew did amazing work and also went above and beyond what we expected; pull out old tree stumps, gave recommendations to save money and did extra work because it was needed not because it was asked of him. We were so please that we even recommended him to our neighbor who also used Val to rebuild his own fence and trellis. We’re glad to know that he’s doing more intricate work beyond fence/deck. I’m sure we will have more opportunities to call upon him again!

Igor and his team did an excellent job on our back yard remodel project from June to Aug 2022. We will be contracting him to preform a fence project in 2023. Thanks.
