My house was a difficult project. It’s nearly a hundred years old. Utah Roofing and Exteriors were fantastic. There were unexpected complications due to the age of the house that extended the timeline for completion, but they were very communicative about why things were going to take longer than expected.

I’m absolutely satisfied with the work that was done and would recommend to anyone who needs roof repair.

Keith and the team were great. They showed up when they said they would, did good, honest, fast work, and were well-priced for the quality. Keith's estimate was literally 20k lower than the next closest quote I had, and he even came in under budget when all was said and done. This is probably the last honest contractor out there. Quality was top-notch: we used Hardie board and had it custom-painted and installed. there were only a few minor issues that we found at completion, and Utah Roofing was back at my house the next day doing touch-ups and adjustments and walking through with me. I think they may have done the entire project again had I said I didn't like it or something... that's how important customer service is to this group. small touch-ups were done quickly and without question and the team was laser-focused on gaining my approval - they had me look at stuff 2 or 3x to make sure it was exactly right and how I wanted it! Best in the business - would not hire anyone else for siding/roofing. In fact, I'm calling them again to fix my roof that someone else messed up!

Prompt and courteous. Prices seemed fair although we didn’t price shop. Hopefully the heat tape they installed on the metal roof and the sealant they applied at joints will solve our ice dam interior leak issue.Time will tell. We will repost if we have any issues in the future…

Keith and Ryan were very helpful and professional working late hours to help complete a project and effectively communicating through out the process. I would recommend this company for future projects.

Happy with the work that was done. The guys that did the roof did a good job. Was told they would be here at 8:30 and didn’t come till noon. So we’re working on the roof and clean up after dark. Left a lot of nails and other stuff around my yard.

Great work, honest bid, our roof looks amazing. We're waiting on the warranty info and some materials got left behind, but we're happy with everything. Ryan does a great job.

These guys did a great job. Clean, quick, organized. The roof & new gutters look great. Ryan even gave me a ride down the road to pick up my truck when he came out to bid the job.

Ryan and his team removed a 50 year old tar and gravel roof and replaced it with a new TPO roof. In addition, soffit and fascia were replaced. The quality of the roof installation, attention to detail and finished product exceeded expectations. Ryan communicated with me regularly, kept me posted on the progress throughout the project and the job was completed on time and on budget. We had to urgently replace old shingles and instal hardieplank and aluminium soffit and fascia around the top of our house to seal our attic and prevent squirrels from nesting there. Utah Roofing and Exteriors gave us a competitive bid, listened to our specific requests, promptly started the project, and were able to finish all the work inspite the rainy and windy weather conditions on time. Rayan was easy to work with. He promptly returned our calls and came regularly to the work site to monitor the progress and solve arising problems. Our office building roof began to leak late on a Friday afternoon and the weather forecast called for rain for the next week. Utah Roofing and Exteriors was able to have a crew onsite to deal with our immediate problem within a couple of hours. There were several small issues that needed attention, but they got the leaking stopped on Friday and returned on Monday morning to complete the needed repairs. Fast and professional service!

We paid a deposit weeks ago and the company just doesn't show up when they told you that they are. They constantly made up excuses, completely unreliable. Do not recommend

Utah Roofing and Exterior did my roof and gutters...everything turned out just beautiful! They were honest, hard-working, and I would use them again if I had another roof.

This company was a customer service nightmare for the entire process. I was scheduled a few times with delays due to weather. No one ever bothered to communicate cancellations. I'd have to call and ask if they were coming just to hear I'd been cancelled again.
Once they started installing, they did it during heavy rains causing water to start pouring into my kitchen through a light fixture. I paid to have all decking replaced and had to catch them trying to replace just a few panels and get them to correct it.
They didn't bother telling me I needed to remove the swamp cooler vent and ended up pushing it through the ceiling onto my floor creating a huge hole in the ceiling I had to pay someone else to fix. There are also holes in my flooring after the vent crashed into the floor with no warning.
They consistently failed to show up when they said they would and calls went unreturned. One time, they did show up while I was waiting for them, parked in the parking lot across the street and then just drove away.
I did finally insist on talking to the owner at the end of the install. He apologized profusely but it it bothers me that the reason I chose this company was the good reviews. I think people need to know what this company was really like.
In the end, I have a new roof but the process was horrible and I think I could have gotten a less expensive roof with less hassle from a different company.

Called on June 22 to request estimate for new rain gutters. Were very nice on the phone. Gave address and details about project and was promised an emailed estimate by June 23rd. When I hadn’t received estimate by June 27th, called and left a message. As of June 29th, haven’t received call back or estimate.

Excellent work meets outstanding customer service. You can stop searching for a roofing contractor because these are the guys you’re looking for. The repair we needed on our gutters was done promptly, professionally, and efficiently. Couldn’t ask for anything more. What truly sets them apart is the customer experience. Maria and crew were organized and thoughtful, always looking out for our interest. Everyone was very transparent about what needed to be done, and they kept us informed about every step of the process, respecting our time and our family schedule. If we need work done on our roof or gutters in the future we’ll be using them again, and I’d recommend them to anyone needing the same.

I would highly recommend this company. They helped me fix some work that a previous company did not install correctly. Their work is high quality and they were always willing to help explain things to me. We plan on continuing to do business with this company going forward. It’s rare to find a company this great that you can trust 100% with your house.

Excellent quote and repairs. Fixed a really botched recent repair from a cost-cutter. Ryan is hard working and super honest. He had to use additional materials, and did more work than quoted. Instead of using cheap materials (like the previous repair) he did the repairs professionaly and correct. The difference was minimal and only for the additional materials. The roof needs to be redone, but instead of upselling me, he advised I have a few more years.

I called for a bid and he came out the same day. Started work the next week. Held up to his end of the bargain. After several color changes he was able to meet our needs. He left my yard clean and without damage. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for a job well done.

Ryan and his crew are the best!!! I have been using them for over 15 years for Fall cleanup on my roof and rain gutters. I had tried other companies, before Utah Roof And Rain Gutter, and now I could never go back to anyone else. I have an atrium window that was leaking and I had several roofing companies come out and caulk it, but it still leaked. Since Ryan''s crew caulked it, I have not had any leaking problems. Utah Roof And Rain Gutter is professional and they take pride in their work. They are trustworthy and reliable. I will not use anyone else!!! We had a gutter come down in the last round of snow & ice. Ryan and his crew were great! The were quick to respond to our call for an estimate, quoted a fair price for both the gutter replacement as well as a long over due cleaning of the remainder of our gutters. Ryan is easy to work with and very professional and respinsive. His prices were reasonable, as well. The roof took a little bit longer to complete than we initially planned, but came out beautiful, and Ryan took care of fixing little details to help make the roof more functional. He also did a chimney repair for us so that we are in good shape for heavy rain and snow.

We hired Ryan after receiving multiple bids to replace the roof, gutters, fascia, and soffit. Many of the larger companies were focused on their flashy brochures instead of listening to what we wanted. After meeting with Ryan, we instantly knew he was perfect for the job. We loved the older charm that our house has but unlike the other companies, only Ryan was the one willing to put in the extra effort of preserving the period details of the house which he was also passionate about. We are not the easiest clients either because we are picky but Ryan was always happy to listen and help us through the design decisions (and indecisions on our part!). As with most construction jobs, they always take longer than expected. Even though Ryan was busy with many other projects, he and his team always put quality first over speed and made sure we were happy with the results. If you want someone who is willing to listen and work with you on your dream home, Ryan is your guy. Moreover, he was always happy to give us options that worked with our budget instead of just giving us the highest price option. The estimate was spot on and given the large size of the project, we barely went over budget ($2k out of $30k) which was a subcontrator underestimating the work needed but understandable because the house is almost a hundred years old and needed lots of love! Ryan is friendly and proffesional and took care of our home like it was his own. We cannot recommend Ryan enough! The work speaks for itself!

I met Ryan from Utah Roof and Rain Gutter almost 10 years ago when my house needed a simple gutter cleaning. Since then he has done numerous work on my homes in Holladay and in Park City. Ryan replaced old rain gutters and added more downspouts on my Holladay home and stopped the basement leak. He inspects and takes pictures of areas of roof needing repairs so we can plan/discuss before becoming a big problem. When the heavy snow in 2018 knocked over the porch frame in my PC home, Ryan installed snow retention brackets on the roof and added rain gutters in strategic places. Not only we don't have to worry of weather damages we don't have to shovel as much. Most important, Ryan is honest, easy to communicate and solves problems with fair pricing. Face it, if you own a home you will have issues with roof/gutters. Ryan helps me sleep at night because I know he can fix the problem.

Ryan has been providing gutter cleaning and maintenance at our home and our business for probably 10 years. Maybe longer. He's the rare contractor who does what he says, when he says at a fair price. Utah Roof and Rain Gutters is awesome. I have been using them for years. They are prompt and professional. They thoroughly clean out gutters and downspouts and make sure that any debris that spills over into your yard is cleaned up and disposed of. I live next door to neighbors with many pine trees, etc. so my gutters are continuously filled with needles, leaves, sap, mud, etc. This means I need my gutters "serviced" at least twice a year. I have them come twice a year not only because of their professional service, but because their prices are beyond reasonable for the amount of work required. They are an honest and respectable company. You won't be disappointed with their services. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for the other services they provide.
