Leaven Furuike and his work partner (Urgent Island Restoration) did an excellent job on repairing the drywall in my bathroom. They were punctual, polite/kind, considerate, very skilled and cleaned up after themselves very well. My wife and I are very pleased with the job they did.

this company has helped us twice with water damage and black mold. both times they have taken every precaution to prevent mold spread by using tarps and tape to seal off areas, including air vents, and even covered our floors to keep them clean while they work. Jacob and Julian are the two who most recently helped us and they did an amazing job! ensuring ALL mold was completely & safely removed, even took the time to wash down our front porch from dust once they were finished! very friendly, great communication and reliable, highly recommend this business!

Demetrio and another guy did an excellent job. 1 and a half full living room walls of mushy drywall and wetness completely replaced and back to brand new in 3 days! They even went as far as to perfectly rehang my TV mount and curtain rods. Big thanks to Demetrio and Urgent Island Restoration!

UIR came to our rescue after some internal flooding during a recent storm. They sealed our bathroom up from the elements, then finished the job over 2 additional days. The price was right, but the team of Liko and Michael were probably the best part of our interaction with UIR. We would highly recommend using them for urgent and non-urgent home restoration and repairs!

Highly recommend they were timely and very respectful. They work extremely fast without compromising the integer of their work. Demetrio was working in my house and did an excellent job very professional and took pride in his work, completely restored my bathroom in a week looks like nothing ever happened. GIVE HIM A RAISE.

After waking up to my downstairs flooded my day was ruined but Demetrio & Chris came ASAP and made it better. They were very efficient, hardworking and made the mess a little less daunting. They were so nice to my very loud and nosey kids. And had no problem explaining to me the week long process of drying my house out.

In the past two months, Urgent Island Restoration has been out to do mold remediation and the most recent job was laying down new flooring after a corroded pipe resulted in jackhammering the foundation (this required a sub contractor). After the pipe issue was completed, Brandon laid the floor and he was excellent. He was communicative and cared about the work he did. Two jobs and two jobs done well.

I recently had water leaking behind my tub/shower wall that required the services of Urgent Island Restoration. Demetrio and Liko were the field techs assigned to remediate the mold growth and removal of the wet building materials. They also removed my toilet and disposed of the damaged vanity cabinet. Both Demetrio and Liko were very patient and explained every step of their process while setting up the protection of my flooring and the containment area. They spent the time to assure that even the minute details were addressed. While the work area is currently going through the final drying process with the use of a dehumidifier and air scrubber, I am being given the results of the daily moisture tests and happily, the moisture levels in the framing materials has been dropping substantially.
I highly recommend Urgent Island Restoration if you need similar work done to your home. I am so thankful that Demetrio and Liko turned this unpleasant situation for my family into such a pleasant experience.

Had our whole room and bathroom flood with sewerage water. Called up Urgent Island Restoration and Kaulana came out quickly to do an estimate. He was very professional and worked quickly with our insurance to get the work going. I then met with Sal who helped me pick tile and walk me through the process. He was readily available via text whenever I had questions or concerns. Called me with updates everday! I absolutely LOVED the communication and kindness with this company!!!
Then came the time to do the work. Demetrio.. Brandon and Dave did an AMAZING job! Above and beyond amazing. Words can’t explain how happy I am. I didn’t worry one bit during the whole process. They worked quickly but very efficiently! They were very kind and respectful with my house. The way they explained things to me and talked to me was very professional, kind and put me at ease. I don’t think I’ve ever worked with a company that was this idk… PERFECT. Literally from beginning to end perfect.

I really appreciate the hard work Aleks from Urgent Island Restoration did. He listened & answered all my concerns with the mold around the vents in 2 of our bedrooms & ceiling fans before the job started. Overall - the job itself looks great all in a timely manner with great customer service.

We started the New Year with an unexpected water leak and damage from our upstairs neighbor in our condominium unit. We contacted our neighbors to take immediate action to resolve this situation. Our neighbor called in a plumber (535 Plumbing) and discovered there was a pinhole leak that has been ongoing for at least the past month while we were away on holiday vacation. The plumber was part of Urgent Island Restoration and he quickly found and fixed the leak. He recommened we contact the company to address our unit's resulting water damage. As it turns out, Urgent Island Restoration (UI) is a one-stop-shop for water and fire damage remediation, restoration and renovation. We were able to make just one phone call to get assistance and make us whole again.

After notifying our condominium's resident manager about the issue since damage also affected the outside corridor wall from our unit, my husband called Urgent Island Restoration. Urgent Island Restoration sent a project coordinator, Kaulana, immediately. He came with another worker who used a moisture detector and visual inspection to determine the extent of the water damage. We were saddened to find that the water had seeped under our bathroom's less than 3-year-old luxury vinyl plank flooring and about 75% of the interior drywall including the entire ceiling. Due to the long period of time that had passed (more than 72 hours) before the slow water leak was discovered, Kaulana advised we'd have to go through a standard water damage protocol to address possible mold contamination. Kaulana, who was our single point of contact, developed the estimates and all the necessary paperwork to get the process rolling. He also coordinated the work crews.

Within a week, a two-person team, David (foreman) and Tim showed up to set up a portable contamination tent, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers while removing all of the wet building materials. Our place looked like a scene out of the movie Contagion for a week because that's how wet our bathroom was. Urgent Island Restoration coordinated a hygenist (Pono Environmental) to take air samples after a few days of drying out our bathroom. Meanwhile, David worked on the outside of the common wall to remove and restore it to its original structural integrity and appearance. While chatting and watching David safely demolish, remove, and restore our bathroom and hallway, we were impressed with his meticulous attention to detail, quality, reliability, and politeness. He also took photos to document the work progress. We would have total access to these photos should we need them for billing or insurance purposes.

While David worked, we met with Leilani at the Urgent Island Restoration home office to select new flooring and bath tiles to complete the restoration. We were advised that is better to install porcelain tiles directly on our subfloor slab to preclude possible future water damage.

It has been about two weeks since the mitigation and remediation process started, and we're ready to begin the restoration & renovation work of our bathroom through Urgent Island Restoration. We liked working with this "one-stop-shop" as they are fully certified or licensed professionals. They are efficient and caring about one's health, safety, time, and property aesthetics. They do it the RIGHT WAY, NO SHORTCUTS.

Demetrio with Urgent Island Restoration was phenomenal. Called prior to arriving, explained what he was going to do before even starting. Fixed our front step which was causing us to trip out the door due to a root lifting the steps. He even removed our furniture off the porch during the process to keep it from getting dusty & cleaned the dust off our front porch when he was finished which was totally appreciated! He was friendly & professional! Would 100% recommend!

No one wants a mold issue and I found myself in that situation for one of my rentals. Urgent Island Restoration jumped right in as soon as I called and took care of everything. Very professional, very prompt, and they did an amazing job. They relieved me of all that stress and I am forever grateful. I would highly recommend them to anyone in this situation.

Pros- they are very polite on the phone, in person, and over email

Cons- they don't follow through. I decided not to go with them ultimately because there was way too much confusion with their subtractors. They expected me to follow up and coordinate with the subcontractors, but I expected them to manage the people they hire, not me.
After I decided not to hire them, I was charged 6 months later for "coordination" of tests.
