They did a fantastic job! I had Mike Glidden as lead consultant/foreman/manager and he was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and fun to work with. He knew exactly how to deal with my insurance company. When the day came to put on my new roof he came in with a crew of eight and each one of them knew exactly what they were doing and they completed the roof in about 7.5 hours! The work was top-notch, excellent!

Omar was amazing to work with. He worked with my insurance company to sort out the details, all I had to do was pick out the color of my new roof.
I couldn't believe when the work was completed beautifully in just one day!

I worked with United Contracting Group for a full roof replacement. UCG was great. I worked with Derek who was knowledgeable and easy to work with. Derek made it a seamless process throughout. I talked to 5-6 different companies before deciding on UCG and to my surprise UCG was the only company willing to wait for payment from my insurance company. The other companies wanted me to pay them upfront or use their financing and wanted me to deal with reimbursement from my insurance company on my own. Derek is familiar with the insurance industry and not only submitted all the paperwork to my insurance company but also made follow up calls to them. As for the work, Derek scheduled a date and time and kept that date and time. His crew tarped every inch of my yard to keep it clean from all materials being scraped off and replaced. When they finished the roof they cleaned up and even skimmed my pool before they left. The roof looks great. My experience with UCG and Derek was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone.

Wish I could give more than a 5 star review. For this 74 yr old woman having to handle all of the household issues because my husband is incapacitated, I can say there has been nothing but honest professionalism from all I have worked with at UCG. They have helped handle all correspondence for my roof with the insurance company, kept me informed every step of the way and gone above with their kindness in getting things handled. In addition. The roof looks beautiful! The work and cleanup was very neat and timely. It has definitely enhanced the look of our home. So many positive comments from our neighbors. This company did my neighbor's roof. I have debris from when they pulled the old shingles and tar paper all over my backyard. They just threw the old off the roof and some of it landed in my backyard. Very unprofessional to do that to a property they aren't working on and don't have permission to be on.

We had a fantastic experience with United Contracting Group when severe wind in Waddell, AZ damaged our roof. Scott L. and Joe B., project managers with the company, were in the neighborhood and noticed how much damage my roof had sustained. Unlike other roofers who had approached me with high-pressure sales tactics, Scott L. and Joe B. were straightforward and honest.

Scott and Joe immediately climbed up on the roof to assess the damage, and we called our insurance company.

Scott and Joe helped me file the insurance claim and Scott also supervised the entire job, ensuring everything was done right. We had a three-way call with my insurance company, where he handled most of the process, making sure I only needed to pay the deductible as long as there weren't any surprises during the repair. The insurance company required multiple hoops to jump through after their inspector accessed the damage. Scott came multiple times to my house to take pictures and video. The insurance claim was paid and the knowledge of the process from Scott and Joe was impressive.

On the day of the replacing the roof, Scott and Joe's crew showed up at 5:30 am and had everything wrapped up by 2:00 pm. Scott was hands-on, helping with the work and ensuring every detail was handled. The crew was efficient, professional, and cleaned up everything afterward. They even did a magnet sweep around the house to collect any nails that didn’t get in the dumpster. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really stood out. Scott did a second magnet sweep to make sure no nails would get in our tires. He also got on the roof and did a quality control check as well.

What also stood out was the value I received. Despite the high level of service, the cost was reasonable, and the entire process was handled with professionalism and care. Scott's professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication made the whole experience stress-free. We had great conversations with Scott on a personal level through the process. Scott and Joe were a blessing to our family.

It's the little things that make the biggest difference, and that's certainly true with Scott, Joe and United Contracting Group. From start to finish, they were on time, clear in their communication, and just really easy to work with. I noticed a sign on my neighbors home, United Contracting Group. Shingles were delivered, later installed. The job site was meticulously cleaned up. Derick P. the Project Manager for United asked me if I was aware of wind damage to my roof, I am not inclined to let anyone solicit me, but the professional look and approach by Derick was refreshing and he explained how our homeowners insurance would cover most or all of the roof repair or replacement. Derick contacted my insurance company. In the end we now have a brand new roof. Everything Derick promised happened. New roof, quick installation, meticulous clean up and Derick was on site numerous times to monitor the job. We are Very Happy with Derick and United as they performed as promised start to finish and our insurance covered almost all of the cost of the new roof! Robert Smith

We were needing a new roof and found United Contracting Group via a link at the Owens Corning website for a Platinum Preferred Installer. I called and Judson answered and was available to come out that day to look over our roof. He checked out the roof and sent up a drone for the estimate. He emailed the estimate right away and the price was very competitive to the other bids we received. The shingles and supplies were delivered on the scheduled day. On the day of the install, it was forecasted to be 113 in early June, so the crew arrived at 4am, they did a great job communicating with us on any issues and they were completely done by 2:30pm. The old 2 layer roof was completely removed, several pieces of plywood replaced, new underlayment and shingles done–all in one day. The crew also did a great job of cleanup. I would highly recommend United Contracting Group of Scottsdale for any roofing job.

Had some unfortunate damage to my roof / home after a big storm and wasn't getting much support or help from my insurance company. Luckily I got in contact with Riley and his team. They were able to immediately help mitigate additional damage to my property and started working with my insurance on a plan for reconstruction. Was able to get my home / roof back in order in about 6 weeks. Was really nice having a company that actually had my best interests in mind during this really stressful time. Would fully recommend them for any future contracting needs. Ask for Riley if you need help, he had my back.

Erik and Elliot were fantastic from start to finish. They were very knowledgeable and very helpful with dealing with the insurance and able to keep the process moving forward.
They were able to get everything worked out within a couple weeks and start work on the room.
The efficiency of removing the old roof and installing the new roof was unheard of. Start to Finish was about 7 hours. Clean up was spotless and never would have known they were there, ensuring the backyard and grass was clean and safe for the kids to play.

Their team of roof installers also did an excellent job replacing our roof. They started at 7 am and were done by 12 noon the same day. They cleaned up everything and you would never know they had been there except for the beautiful new roof we now have.

I can't recommend United Contracting Group enough. Riley was in our neighborhood after the last storm. I stopped him to talk about our leaking roof and he was just the nicest guy. He was so understanding of our situation and willing to come take a look at our roof after he was finished for the day with our neighbors. It was nearing towards the evening and he still got his ladder out and did a very thorough inspection and went over the results with me. There was in fact storm damage, something the previous roofer we had look at our home denied, and was able to put a claim through to my insurance company. The insurance company covered pretty much the entire cost of a brand new roof. Riley worked with them the entire time and fought for us every step of the way.

I wish every service cared this much about their clients and showed them they are priority. It wasn't until the end of the whole process that I found out he was the owner of the company. You would have never known with how hard he worked and the care and attention he showed me and my home.

Zach Martin was a breath of fresh air! He was honest, polite, punctual and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with the job and recommend them highly.

I normally don’t post reviews, but this one merited the time to do so. My husband and I had never dealt with a roofing company before, nor the roofing replacement process. Needless to say, we were somewhat nervous because it entails a level of trust. There seemed to be a lot of different roofing companies out there and we didn’t know which one to pick. We based our decision on 1) good communication, 2) pricing, 3) quality of roof/workmanship, and 4) willingness to negotiate it on our behalf with the insurance company. After thoroughly researching reviews of roofing companies online and getting quotes from four other companies, we decided to take the leap and go with Mike Garrigan at United contracting group. Honestly, the whole time we were holding our breath, waiting for a negative experience. It never came. The process was seamless, exactly as explained, timely. Mike went above and beyond expectations to see that our various requests and questions were answered in a timely fashion. There was even an incident where some roofing material fell off the roof and made a hole in our screen door. Before he even told me, Mike had already scheduled a screen repair company to come out on his company’s dime to fix it, which they did three days after the roof was done. He accommodated a number of extra requests with utmost professionalism and willingness. He stopped by when he said he would, always on time, and sometimes even a few minutes early. The roofers arrived at 5:45 AM, finished at 6 PM and worked hard the entire time. The roof was completed in one day. Also, my neighbor across the street, who works from home full-time, observed the entire roofing process and commented how impressed she was with the roofing crew. She noted that they were organized and worked hard and efficiently. She asked for Mike’s contact info. I could not have hoped for a better experience. Not surprisingly, four other homes on our street are also being reroofed by Mike and United Contracting Group, as a result of a severe storm in September. We would have no hesitation recommending him and his company to anyone. Well done, Mike and United Contracting Group! Thank you!!

I reached out to United on 9/1 to have my roof repaired after the big wind storm we had. I had some times fly off, and a small leak in my master bedroom.

I was dispatched out to Elliott Sharp, who was kind on the phone and quickly set up an appointment same day. Perfect!

He came out and assessed, and said that he referred me over to someone in damage mitigation for my interior leak, and said he’d reach out early in the next week to come and replace the missing tiles.

Instead, I’ve received no contact from the referral, and no contact from him. I’ve reached out via phone call and text, and have received no response. I’m assuming because they couldn’t get insurance to pay out, that they simply have no want to help me. Moving on to another company now. Disappointing considering all the positive reviews.

I contacted United Contracting for roof replacement after my dad told me they did a great job on his house. Zach Martin handled his claim and he was there to handle mine as well. He went above and beyond to contact and stay up to date with my insurance company to coordinate a roof replacement. He took the stress off of me and was always quick to answer questions or let me know where in the process we were at. He even came out a couple times to tarp the roof when I was concerned about rain leaks before installation. My roof looks amazing and is actually effective now. I’m so glad that I can finally say that I had a good homeownership experience.

Skye and Edward were extremely helpful in getting my roof repair approved by my insurance company. They then were responsive to installation questions and on the spot with cleanups and payment receipt. My only problem at all is that afetr all was done and paid, I got a letter from a lien company that I am still trying to figure out.

What more can a say about this company. I was completely unaware of what kind of damage it took to get my roof replaced by the insurance. United Contracting Group was doing a roof for my neighbor when I asked Riley to give me a roof inspection and see if he was able to help me out. I was blown away with Riley’s knowledge and attentiveness to my project. He handled everything with the insurance and explained everything to me in a way I understood completely. Sky and Edward came by to look at our roof that was damaged during a hail storm last October. They coordinated a meeting with our insurance advisor and once everything was agreed upon, the work was done quickly and professionally. The foam roof installers accidentally caused a short by lifting an electrical conduit line on our roof which knocked out power to my pool pump and sprinkler timer. Edward contacted an electrician who showed up the next morning and fixed everything at no cost to me.

I'd recommend this company to anyone with roofing problems.

They did a fantastic job repairing our roof. They were knowledgeable in how to work with our insurance company, they communicated with us, they did everything they quoted us, and the roof is great! It was even wind & rain tested the day after they finished the install. The men they had remove and reinstalled our solar panels also did a great job! 100% recommend!!!

Our roof had wind damage and I got quotes from 3 recommended roofing companies. I narrowed my choice down to 2 companies and I ended up selecting UCG. They did a fantastic job repairing our roof. I decided to trust them during this process and my trust was well placed when I authorized them to engage with the Insurance company directly on my behalf regarding my damage claim and they eliminated a lot of bureaucratic red tape that every homeowner goes thru when they file an insurance claim. Collin and Gilbert were very responsive and went thru the tedious task of going thru their quotes line by line with the field adjuster and submitting the necessary supplements so we can get best dollar amount for the repairs needed. The insurance company ended up paying more than their original payment estimate. I am so very pleased with this company. These guys did an awesome job start to finish. I was a bit skeptical at first when I was initially approached by this company, but I did my research online and decided to give the insurance claim process a chance. I am so glad I did, the whole experience was pleasant and easy. They got the whole project paid for by my insurance, and upgraded the roof to a beautiful concrete tile. I was told that all I had to do was pay my deductible at the end as long as I was happy with the workmanship and quality of material. They honored their word and did an amazing job installing and cleaning up the house. I am so grateful I answered the door that day and give these guys a chance.
