United Contracting and Roofing - Alpharetta, Georgia

This is my initial review. I’ll continue to update as we go but I doubt the star rating will change unless google allows 6 stars.

I recommend this company if you live in Georgia to be your roofing choice when you need a new roof. The only roofing company I’ve encountered here who’s actually working for their customer and not their bottom line. Their bottom line is the customer and it shows in the work they do. I’ll have pictures soon because the roof is still in progress for replacement but this company conducted a meticulous inspection, identified the issue-appropriately and professionally, and took swift action to begin repair.

Again, if you’re looking for a roof, a roof repair, and or a great business to partner with, look no further.

More specifically, Michael will lead you to success as he’s displayed exemplary professionalism and expertise.

What could I say with About this company and Drew? They are professional, Exceptional, Honest, Fair, And most of most important is that they care about their customers like they were their family. I am forever grateful to Drew in unit, contracting, and roofing for fixing my roof and making the process easy. Please, please support this business! Thank you, Drew for making this easy for me as a disabled vet.

Jordan - the person in charge of quoting me on a commercial job - was extremely informative, professional, and friendly. Not only did he walk me through in depth all of the options I had to choose from, he also explained the why, so I am able to make an informed decision about the issues and potential solutions I have available to me. His passion mixed with a demeanor of trying to do right by the customer he’s quoting, is enough for me to recommend united roofing going forward for anyone who has a need for it - commercial or residential.

United was a great company to work with. They fought for me to get a new roof and quickly replaced my roof upon notification of insurance approval. Their quality of work also stands out. The sales rep, Michael Antero, kept me informed throughout the process and made me feel like the homeowner and not simply another customer.

We are very pleased. They came when they were suppose to and did an excellent job. Their project manager Drew Hollcroft was great to work with and their crew, cleaned up everything. I'm an avid gardener and was so pleased they didn't break any of my plants.

Great job done by United in replacement of my roof. Completed in one day and left the property as clean as when they began. Hire them!!!

Alex did a fabulous job facilitating everything with the company and insurance carrier. The work is outstanding and of the highest quality.

Avoid United Contracting and Roofing – Deceptive Sales Tactics & Zero Integrity

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with United Contracting and Roofing and their salesperson, Luke. Despite my initial hesitation, he was extremely persuasive and friendly, convincing me to move forward with filing a roof claim. I even waited an entire week for him to recover from the flu, turning down other offers, because I trusted him.

However, after the claim was denied, I learned that had Luke actually checked my previous claim report—as I specifically asked him to—he would have seen that certain pre-existing damages made my claim impossible to approve. Instead, he ignored my request, rushed the process, and wasted my time just to meet his sales quota.

To make matters worse, after the denial, he tried to push me toward hiring a public adjuster to dispute the decision. When I spoke with them, they reviewed my policy and structural engineering report from two years ago and confirmed that the claim should have never been filed in the first place. The public adjuster even refused to take my case because there was nothing they could do.

And then, as if all that wasn’t enough, once Luke found out that even the public adjuster wouldn’t touch it, he had the audacity to offer me a cash quote for the roof—so after misleading me and wasting my time, his final move was trying to sell me the job out-of-pocket.

Now, as per the public adjuster’s conclusion, I am at risk of having my entire insurance policy canceled because of the unnecessary claim that United Contracting and Roofing filed for me. Not only did they fail to do their due diligence, but they also jeopardized my homeowner’s insurance for their own gain.

United Contracting and Roofing cares more about sales than honesty. They don’t care about your roof, your time, or your situation—only about making money. If you’re considering using them, don’t. Learn from my mistake and go with a company that actually looks out for your best interests.

Stay far away from Luke and United Contracting and Roofing unless you want to be misled, manipulated, and put at financial risk.

Update: their manager called me supposedly to get my side of the story and after 15 min talk basically made it clear that his objective is for me to remove the review. No apology was issued - instead he spun it as "every story has two sides" . Stay away from them

United did an awesome job replacing my roof and rotted fascia boards. The roof is beautiful and the crew did a great job. My entire experience was great thanks to the sales rep Drew. His quote beat the others, his attention to my needs was amazing, he was with me through the entire process.

Professional service throughout the entire process. I was scared and skeptical, because I had never had to buy a new roof before. My project manager was Drew Hollcroft. He was very professional always on time for our appointments, respected me as a woman making all of the decisions for my roof, very knowledgeable about roofing. The installment, the process was flawless. Everything was done as it should.All the cleanup was perfect. I am pleased to say United Contracting and Roofing. Jarrett is who we worked with getting our roof replaced, was very impressed with their promptness and work ethic, showed up early and cleaned up so well you could not tell they had been here except for the beautiful new roof, I would recommend them for sure!

Deangelo and Chase are the best! Team helped us get our roof replaced and the process was pain free! They also helped us with a few further issues during the sale of our house all last minute requests and were very helpful! Don’t hesitate to use them!

Good, prompt response. took only 2 hours to do the roof then another 30-45 minutes to clean up.
My only complaint is that we are that we have found some roofing nails on our rear deck, and we found 2 strings of nails, one in a branch of our Crepe Myrtle, the other on the ground in the front yard.
Other than that, the roof looks great!

Working with United was incredibly effortless thanks to our Project Manager Michael. We had four different contractors come out previously that all told us filing with insurance wasn’t an option - Michael was the exception and immediately wanted to try. Thanks to his ability to think outside of the box and willingness to try, we saved $22,000 on our roof by having our insurance company fully cover the replacement! I cannot thank Michael and United enough for helping us with our insurance claim and holding our hand every step of the way. Our new roof looks amazing!

We had a few roofing companies contact us, but Chris from United was the most responsive and dependable. I highly recommend United and especially Chris.

We were unaware of hail roof damage until we had a buyer for our home and the inspection report noted damage. Dyllin came out next day to assess the damage and submit to USAA. His thorough pictorial report made our claims process efficent and timely. The installed process was professional and we had a new roof (and a new buyer) within days of install! Thanks to the entire United Contracting Team!

Chase went out of his way to secure approval from my insurance after the claim was denied the first time. Even the insurance adjuster commented positively about him. The team who replaced my roof was on time, efficient, and cleaned up well.

I could not have asked for a better experience. Any questions or concerns I may have had, Mr. Anthony Vinson had an answer and walked me through the entire process from start to finish. He was a TREMENDOUS help and I couldn’t be happier with the results!
