We used Chad at Uniquely for a kitchen demo that was unplanned. I went with him because he just came across as that small town, good as your handshake, type of guy. And my gut was right. Not only did he give me a great price, but his teams work was exceptional. Not only was their work great, they were at my house for 3 weeks and they were respectful, tidy & clean, and even became friends with my little ones! Chad and his team are now my go to for not only large projects, but I want his opinion first on any handyman work.

I do NOT recommend. I’ll invite you into my home to see the quality you’ll get, in the event you have any doubts or need confirmation. The owner says they do not use subcontractors but that’s all he used except to build the actual standing structure of my addition itself. Trim, Tile and siding took at least 3 separate efforts and it’s still not acceptable for the price. If you want a deck or a sliding door installed, even a basic small remodel, great. If you want anything significant? Do your homework and ask for references (unrelated to his family member reviews on the website). I speak from 7 months experience during this whole process of having less than a 300 square ft, one level addition, put on my home to accommodate my recent disability. While it started out great and promising, it ended with disappointment and frustration.

I wanted a sliding glass door installed on my back room. They came to Detroit and worked through the day until it rained. They were very respectful and professional. They also noticed the gutter was installed wrong allowing water to run down a portion of the wall and they fixed it without extra charge. They came back and finished the job a couple days later. The door is installed soundly. Thank you.
