Unique Builders

In 2019, I purchased and wanted to renovate a 900 sqft 1942 farmhouse which was in very poor condition, SW ID. The overhaul completed by Unique Builders was extensive and began, surprisingly in January. They completely removed the existing roof, added another foot to the wall height, then put on a new roof. They organized and supervised all needed subcontracting including rewiring the entire house, all new plumbing, new kitchen cabinets and blow-in wall insulation, with inspections, paperwork etc. The stone work they emplaced for most of the house floor is amazing and meticulous, with complementing stone work on the counters and counter walls. I imagine the original builders of this farmstead home looking down with big smiles. I honestly don’t think this could have been accomplished as well by any other contractor, especially given Dan’s ability to make needed adjustments on the go.

I contracted Unique Builders in 2020 for three building projects on my farm in Marsing, based on the company owner statement of being able to put in a large basement with addition on top, tear down an old garage and replace with a two story structure. What really sold me on this company was the owner’s ability to also do all of the design drawings and blueprints, saving me a fortune on architect and engineer costs, while concurrently allowing me to request anything I wanted in the design. Energy efficiency and innovation are really important to me. As a contractor/builder on site, innovative solutions have been ongoing, e.g. new carbonic flooring. I have been amazed as this project has progressed how much knowledge the lead builder has on everything (electrical, plumbing, renewable energy, insulation, flooring, stucco, concrete, code compliance and process, structural engineering). So far in the building, the bathroom is amazing! For the ladies, this is the builder you dream of, for the men, you have a builder you can trust to miss nothing and make every effort to optimize affordability and quality to last. It is clear, this builder loves what he does and finishes with very happy clients. You can ask him any building question, he has an answer, well researched. Point here – not your ordinary builder.
