What a great company to work with. We had some damage that actually caused a leak on the ceiling in a lot of places. Adam (the owner) came out and was awesome. He did a complete inspection and took total care of us. If you have any roofing needs, I highly recommend Undersun Roofing.

Incredibly professional team. The entire experience was top notch. David, Adam, and Jamie all take the best of care of their customers. They made us feel like family! They walked through insurance issues with us, provided guidance and expertise, and even though our insurance wouldn't budge, we still went with Undersun. UnderSun Roofing made what we thought would be a scary and painful process, easy and tolerable. It was a real pleasure meeting David and Adam when they arrived to examine our roof. UnderSun Roofing has given not only a structurally sound and beautiful roof-(the prettiest roof on my street!…), but an experience that was par excellence. From the start, David and Adam were warm and yet thorough in their examination of my roof. I had hail damage they meticulously encircled in orange chalk, that looked like a police crime scene. When the first rather bitter insurance adjuster who didn’t even climb up onto the entire roof, nor inspect the attic as asked, tried to say it was more ware than hail, my UnderSun Roofing guys had the evidence to ethically assist me in filing my claim. Back at their office, Jaimee was a pleasure to speak with and had wrestle with the adjuster for items required by code. She persisted and it was for several weeks, an aggravating and tedious process. She kept her professionalism as she was treated disrespectfully by said adjuster and continued to advocate on my behalf. I finally insisted I get another adjuster, who ended up being far better and more fair to work with.
The day the crew from UnderSun Roofing arrived i was immediately impressed by how respectful they were towards my property as they carefully maneuvered around my trees and garden beds.
The skilled and thorough work this team of workers did is admirable. Naon was his leader of the crew, as David aka PawPaw, over saw the quality of the work as well as fielding issues as they were revealed. My historic Georgian style cottage home now has a roof that in keeping with the provenance of the building and its look. The Golden Harvest I upgraded to, that Adam originally suggested when i stated i wanted a visible texture, as opposed to a flat roof, implies fat more relief and gives the appearance of separate tiles. The colors are gorgeous ranging from golden wheats and taupes, to dove gray with passages of greenish blue patina. I became fixated a on getting a cedar board style roof, but this would have cost $10,000 more as opposed to the cost of the Golden Harvest shingles that cost $4000. Jaimee was so patient with my insistence and my forcing her to redo the project budget and plan for me finally to go with what was suggested as a compromise between my ultimate dream roof and my budget. In the end, i went with the Golden Harvest and feel that is every bit as charming. The family that runs UnderSun Roofing are decent, good, industrious people. It is a company run by both a Marine-(Adam), and a young woman-(Jaimee). Shout out to “Seven”, second in commsnd to Naon, the Captain. Jackie, Naom’s wife who came to straighten up, was precious. Laura who does “air traffic controlling”, was warm and lovely and connected everyone in the field or at other projects and meetings, seamlessly.
All around an AMAZING EXPERIENCE WITH AN AMZING COMPANY! My new roof has been the best part of my Never Ending Renovation.

Adam helped me out on incredibly short notice with some wind damaged shingles on my roof and major rainfall on the horizon. Yes, it was a relatively small job, but he took the time and effort to keep water from intruding through the roof which could have been very costly. A good business owner but even better human being. He has my highest recommendation and is very military friendly.

This company is truly amazing. They repaired my gutters that were pulling away from the house, installed gutter guard screens all around, and completely replaced our roof. The Team was professional, very quick, and took photos while on the roof to show areas that may need attention. The quality of workmanship was top notch. This company is awesome! David and Adam are kind and always responsive, and they did a great job on our roof. UnderSun worked with our insurance to make sure we got the help we needed after a big storm. We couldn't believe how fast they were able to do such a thorough job. They have come back since and helped us with other issues and have always been so nice/helpful (on their own job but also on other issues that we have faced). The team that replaced my roof did an awesome job. Tear off and re-roof in one day. This was a 60 square roof. They came back the next day to do a final clean up and double check the work. I was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship. I highly recommend them.

A Disastrous Experience with Undersun Roofing: Overpromised, Under-Delivered, and Unprofessional

It is with a heavy heart that I recount my incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience with Undersun Roofing. What began as a hopeful partnership with a veteran and woman-owned company turned into an absolute nightmare of incompetence, lack of oversight, and unprofessional behavior. The litany of failures I encountered with Undersun Roofing is astounding, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal to caution others who might consider engaging their services.

From the very beginning, Undersun Roofing overpromised and under-delivered on what they would accomplish within the scope of work. The work they did manage to schedule was far from complete when their crew finally showed up on site. To make matters worse, there was an utter lack of oversight for the crew. On some occasions, they idled away their time, extending their presence well into the evening while accomplishing absolutely nothing. It was a clear demonstration of their disregard for our time and expectations.

The owner's apparent overwhelmed state became painfully obvious as we faced constant delays in the project schedule. What should have been a seamless transition from bid to execution turned into a recurring cycle of being pushed back repeatedly. Despite their assurance that we would be prioritized, the project did not commence until July, despite our initial engagement with them back in April. Their excuse of weather-related setbacks fell flat when considering the damage to our property that needed urgent attention.

The lack of professional communication and proper scheduling was an ongoing frustration. Their promises to visit for appointments were consistently broken without any advance notice or attempt to reschedule. It was we who had to relentlessly pursue them to get any semblance of a response or commitment. This level of disregard for basic communication norms was unfathomable.

Moreover, attempting to convey instructions to the crew was an exercise in futility. The difficulty in communication had nothing to do with language barriers but rather stemmed from the fact that the crew appeared to be utterly clueless about what needed to be done. This exposed a lack of training, direction, and overall professionalism on their part.

One incident that epitomized the unprofessionalism of Undersun Roofing was when the owner admitted that the only reason she finally answered my call was because she mistook me for her caterer. This came after numerous unanswered texts and calls, leaving me disheartened and questioning my decision to hire them as my confidence was shattered by the reality of their incompetence and lack of commitment.

In conclusion, my encounter with Undersun Roofing has left me disillusioned and utterly dissatisfied. Their overpromising, under-delivering, and unprofessional conduct have tarnished any initial positive perceptions I had. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and look elsewhere for a company that values professionalism, communication, and customer commitment. My experience with Undersun Roofing was a lesson in how appearances can be deceiving, and I can confidently say that I would never consider working with them again.

From assistance with the insurance company to the clean up after the roof was installed ( in one day ) the team at Undersun was fantastic, I am proud to highly recommend them

My wife (who has a different last name) called Undersun Roofing to come out to give us a quote on a new roof. I was sitting in my house when I saw a ladder propped up in front of my window. Then there was a knock at my door and it was them. By the time I got to the door one of the guys was already on my roof drawing circles on my roof and the other was talking to me. The guy I was talking to was telling me about all of the damage and he said we were going to get a lot of money from insurance to replace the roof. I told him that we were going to pay for the roof out of pocket because of recently filed claims with our insurance. He acted like he was punched in the gut. And his tone immediately changed. As we talked more my wife joined us to ask questions. We were given a minimum of $30K quote and they said it will cost more than that because of the damage. And he said we needed to call a lawyer because insurance can’t drop us for too many claims. And when we asked why the price was more than double previous quotes we got. Their response was that we were being lied to. And they started getting defensive and started being disrespectful to my wife. We called them out on it. The younger guy went into a total meltdown about his military service and decided that he didn’t want to work with us and had a hissy fit and they both left. And they accused us of not respecting military service people. It was one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever seen in my life. So we ended up using someone else to do a roof and it was done with all new boards and everything for $14K. And for the record our Grandfathers and her father served in the war. My grandfather was in WWII and all five were involved in the Vietnam War. So we respect the military. But we deserve to be respected too.

I had severe roof damage after a terrible wind storm. The wonderful people at Undersun came out the next day and put tarps to cover all the damaged areas. They helped me get all the information the insurance company needed. They have been extremely helpful and kind. I am very happy with the work replacing my roof and the responsiveness.

I can’t give enough stars! If I could rate 10 stars I would! Jaime and her team made the process so easy and painless. Communication was great from start to finish. Look no further for a roofing company. These are the people you should hire.

Within hours of first contacting Undersun they had a crew over to our house and tarped the roof prior to a rain event later that evening.(really saved the day) Adam and Jamie were great with the insurance company, helping us get a much better roof than we had before. They even came out the morning The insurance adjuster came so that they could speak their lingo. My wife truly enjoyed working with Jamie picking out the new color and style of shingles for our house. The installation of the new roof was flawless. The crew was on time and ready to get to work. I have been in the construction industry for 20 years and it is rare to see a crew that gets along as well as these guys with professional attitude, outstanding workmanship, and Drive. When the crew finished the roof was beyond my expectations and they did a fantastic job cleaning up. I have recommended this company to several others and would highly recommend giving them a call should you need any work done

Awesome group. The wife and I had some serious issues surrounding a different company's work. Adam came out and took a look at all our issues, knew exactly what to do, and within 2-3 weeks we were booked, issues fixed, and we were on to better things. Pricing is fair, the guys are reliable, they show up when they say, have excellent communication (a huge plus for any construction type company), and their workmanship is top tier.

We couldn't be more pleased and were happy to work with Undersun. Everyone there takes time to value their customers and any issues/work you need done. We would be glad to use these guys again (although, hopefully we won't have to!) without a doubt.

We recently purchased our home and the inspection revealed some damage to the roof due to an old dish. We called Undersun and a couple of other places to get quotes for the job. Adam and Mr. Nom from Undersun came out quickly to look things over and even found another small issue the inspector had missed. They were friendly, open, and provided a great quote. They were able to come back and complete the work the same week. Would definitely use them again!

Showed up on time and got to work right away. Job took longer than expected but that was due to crazy heat wave and they let me know before end of day that they would have to come back next day, instead of just leaving and then showing up the next day and really appreciated that. Cleaned up everything wonderfully! Moved patio and landscape stuff that could have gotten broken and then put them back when done. Finished roof looks fantastic!
