Every staff member from sales to delivery were friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The shed was built to my exact specifications. Price was very reasonable - actually lower than I was expecting to pay. Delivery was on time and set up was carried out per my instructions. An excellent company! I highly recommend them.

I had a very good experience with Ulrich Structures. Communication is lacking, but overall pleased. The delivery driver and his son were amazing, quick and very helpful. They were able to squeeze the shed in between our camper and one of the old houses on the property and I’ve gotta say I am impressed. I was pleased w the communication, and service provided. Not pushy on the sale, which was why I went with them. VERY disappointed with the install of the shed. For something so large, that should hold up for many years to come, it was improperly set up. Was shimmed with wood shims that will not last over time. Set up on a broken brick as the foundation, and one main brick is not even touching the center support beam. This was completely built on site. They told me building on an incline would be no problem. Be cautious with your build, and look it over well.

I chose Ulrich for two reasons. I saw their great reviews, and they were the only company that could truly help me design a custom shed. The representative took so much time with me and the delivery guys were phenomenal. Every single time someone drives up and sees my shed they cannot believe how gorgeous it is. My personal recommendation for anyone looking for a shed is to call Ulrich!

We just took delivery of our shed today, and we are very happy with it. We ordered it with Hardie plank siding in the same color as our house, and it matches perfectly. Hayleigh was very friendly and great in design and ordering. The construction is top notch, and Donavon did an excellent job with installation and leveling. Now we just need to add some bushes to finish everything off. We are very happy customers and we are glad to recommend Ulrich

I want to thank Donovan and Chad for doing an amazing job setting up my shed. They worked for an hour to get it perfectly level. At one point it was so close that I said that was fine for me, but they said it wasn’t yet perfect and they continued until it was. They were polite, friendly and very good at what they do.

Hayleigh is fantastic. I stopped in one Saturday last fall. She was most helpful and patient because it took us a couple months, chats, and visits with her to finally find the perfect shed for our furbabies. She was very professional, knowledgeable and on the ball when it came to pricing or finding out answers to our millions of questions. During the process of getting our shed, Kelsey was very helpful and professional. It was delivered on schedule and the delivery driver, Donovan, had it set up and leveled in forty five minutes. After the shed was delivered, Kelsey reached out to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase.

Donovan was awesome. Had a misunderstanding with the company. He had no idea that he was to move a shed on the property as well as deliver the one he brought. Got everything ok with the company and he worked out a way to set up the new shed as well as move the shed already on the property. He was very polite, professional and efficient. Our experience with Ulrich Lifestyle and our detached two level garage build has been fantastic! The process started with Everett Ulrich in mid April of 2024 whom I contacted about a quote for the build. Everett was extremely helpful and patient with us as we progressed through the initial design for creation of a quotation then moving us through the contract process. Everett provided timely and thorough information and was extremely flexible with providing different options and cost scenarios per our request until we decided on a final design. In the end, we had a rendered drawing of the design and what exactly it would look like completed. After we had secured our financing (again, very patient with us through this process - no high pressure at any point), we had contracts signed by the end of May, and I was expecting completion by October at the soonest (four months for permitting, breaking ground, build, and completion). We soon met Caleb Buckwalter, our construction manager, and he seamlessly took over where Everett had finished with the same if not more amount of helpfulness and patience. Caleb actually came out to visit the site before the contracts were signed to get a lay of the land for the quotation, and he answered many of our questions about construction before construction began. Permits from the county were approved within the month and ground was broken for the concrete poor the last week of June into the first week of July. Today is August 12, 2024 and we just completed the final walkthrough inspection of the structure with Caleb before handing over the final payment; it took less than 45 days from breaking ground to completion! Again, I thought completion would be in late October at the soonest. The crews worked hard during the hot weather and Caleb was always just a phone call or text away for any issues, concerns, or questions. Caleb was also proactive with what to expect and schedules. We made a list of items to address prior to the final inspection walkthrough, and there were only four items on the list that we wanted addressed which were taken care of immediately. The work quality is excellent, and everyone worked safely and efficiently. I highly, highly recommend Ulrich Lifestyle for your garage construction needs, and ask for Everett Ulrich and Caleb Buckwalter to help you design and construct your dream build!

Donavon is a very hard worker and does a wonderful job. This is the second building he has set up for me. He deserves a raise for his customer service and the efficient way he handles business. Great job !!!!

Overall, I am very please with my 20x28 workshop built by Ulrich. They may be higher price than some others, but you get what you pay for and I don't mind paying for excellent work.
They took care of everything from design, permitting and complete turnkey construction.
The design process was impressive. Via Zoom ( some similar platform), the designer drew up the shop with all my changes and upgrades. They then completed full construction drawings for county approval and permitting.
From there, Caleb was the on sight project manager and a joy to work with. There were no surprises. He stayed three steps ahead of the game. Very well managed project.
The concrete contractors for the slab and foundation were incredible. I can not say enough about these guys and the weather conditions they worked through. Excellent work.
The framers were OK. They were a little funky on their door and window installation. The walls are straight and square so that's a good thing. The only issue I had on the whole project was the underlayment installation. They used something call Rhino 20 or something like that instead of 30# felt. It leaked like a sieve. Very disappointing. However, I was getting a metal roof installed, so I was not too worried about it. If I was using conventional shingles, I probably would have made them redo the underlayment.
The siding and metal roof contractors did a great job. Since the metal roof has been installed, I've had a nice dry shop!!
Overall, I am very pleased. Caleb did a great job of keeping me informed and up to date.

Kelsey did an “over the top” job of helping us design our building! Everything turned out just as we had dreamed of from the size to the paint color. We couldn’t settle on a color and her advice was perfect! Donovan and his helpers did an exceptional job delivering the building and we both enjoyed watching the process ! Setup seemed to be a breeze for them with no glitches or problems. We so appreciate everyone working together to make this process go smoothly!
The only thing that I would suggest for future customers is that someone give a confirmation phone call the day before confirming delivery and explaining that we need to have the funds released from the lender before the building can be delivered. Thanks again for such an awesome experience!

Both my wife, Janet, and I are very pleased with our purchase of the Studio model building we purchased from Ulrich. Kelsey Alvis has made sure that everything went well and when a slight problem showed up, (alignment of the doors), she immediately made sure the problem was corrected to our satisfaction. This building will be used as a working studio for both of us and is the perfect size.

Because of the trees and the location of our house the building had to be built on sight. It was built to the same standards as the factory built buildings.

I highly recommend Ulrich and Kelsey if you are looking to add a small out building. It is built to the highest quality and the company's guarantee is the best.

I would have given a five star rating, but customer service was awful. Bradley was all over contacting me multiple times to make a sale, but afterwards I could get no return calls with questions that I had. When I was made aware of the shed being built and an estimated delivery date, Zach contacted me and said if the delivery date didn't work for me to contact him to schedule a different date. The date was not good for me and I attempted to contact Zach more than six times, to no avail. I left messages on their customer service line and NO responses. It was not until I found the direct number to the Ulrich location the shed was being built and shipped from that I was able to get the assistance I needed.
The shed was built great. Delivered on the date that worked for me. And Donavon did a great job setting and leveling the shed. My only issue is the customer service. In my opinion, Zach in an awful person to rely on when it comes to customer service. If you get a shed from Ulrich it will be a well built shed, but if you have to deal with Zach I wish you luck.

Donovan did an excellent job installing our structure. He took his time make sure that everything was perfectly placed. We ordered The Retreat, and it is even better than we expected. I could not be any happier with how everything turned out. 100% recommend having Ulrich build your next shed.

I am absolutely satisfied with my experience at Ulrich. Kelsey was very courteous and professional through the purchasing process. She was really helpful and knowledgeable when it came time for the design of my new building. As far as the building itself, what can I say, but wow! It was everything I wanted. I can tell from the workmanship that the people of Ulrich take pride in their work. When it came time for delivery, the building showed up a week earlier than expected! It took hardly anytime to set it up with no issues. I can say that I would recommend Ulrich to anyone looking to get a storage building.

I was lied to by the salesman and the permit person. (Big surprise!) I was told it would be 3 weeks to begin building. I am over 5 weeks. I was told a zone permit request would be submitted 2 weeks ago. As of today after 4 unreturned phone calls, I find out the permit has not been submitted. So essentially it has been over five weeks and all that has happened is they have taken $6729.65 from me and have done nothing so far. According to the sales man, I would be using this workshop by now.

I will gladly remove this review when I am a satisfied customer.

Excellent experience from planning to build. I got the exact shed I wanted, spec'd to pass HOA approval, built on site on a concrete slab (extra cost), and it looks great. William and Arthur did an incredible job building and painting the shed onsite in 1 day. Impressive for a 12x16 size building.

We love this company! Every step of the Ulrich shed process was pleasant and professional. We went to the retail location in Waynesboro, VA and met with Kelsey, who took us on a tour of various sheds on-site. She then assisted us in the design process of the shed we wanted, from size to colors to materials to price. The delivery driver and installer, Donovan, was amazing. We had a 10 x 16 shed that needed to somehow be threaded through a small area into our back yard and he did it with ease. He positioned the shed right where we wanted it and made sure it was level and secure.

We cannot say enough good things about Ulrich. If you are thinking about getting a shed this is the only company you should be considering. We would 100% use them again if needed!
