Edgar was fantastic! Came in and got the job done and it looks fantastic! We had a leak from an upstairs bathroom that had caused damage to the ceiling. Fixed the ceiling and it looks like nothing had ever been damaged. Had a bathroom with two entrances that I hated. Took out one of the doors and put a wall in and it looks fantastic. Had some woodwork in the house that really was outdated. Took it out and made everything look clean and modern. I will always call him first!

Edgar did an excellent job replacing my water heater, and in a VERY timely manner, plus clearing drains, after clean up, etc. He and his associates were a joy to have in our home. Polite, respectful, careful. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for good work at a reasonable price.

He rebuilt the handle for my sliding door instead of having to go buy s new one. He is great! Knows how to fix anything.

My son recently purchased a place that could best be described as a fixer-upper, so we knew we had some minor work to be done before we could move in. Prior to hitting the road from VA for the move, I arranged for work to be done by another outfit. After getting totally screwed over by them (see my review of "Harman Handyman"), my research took me to Edgar and Trusted Handyman. Since I was scrambling to get a carpet stretched in time for a move-in, I explained the situation to Edgar and he got his guys on the job right away. The relationship started a little rocky because Edgar had spoken with Scott at "HH", but after allowing me to tell "the rest of the story", the tone between us relaxed and after seeing the great work the TH team did on the carpet, I was ready to give them another job for us.

The window and patio screens needed replacement, and Edgar had me send him measurements for the quote. A couple days later he came by to verify measurements, which was good since mine were slightly off. This happened on Monday, and he said his team would have them in on Friday. On Tuesday Edgar returns with the new screens. The patio and one bedroom window fit great, but two other screens aren't quite right, so he takes them back to the shop. Today (Wednesday) he returns with the two new screens and installs them well ahead of schedule. Wife is happy, son is happy, so I'm happy.

Thanks to Edgar and the Trusted Handyman team for their fast response, quick service, and excellent work!!! We will certainly be turning to this team for our needs in the Provo area and will be giving our recommendations as well.

I'm so lucky I called Trusted Handyman for my emergency service. In record time, they arrived with all supplies necessary, and a sympathetic ear. It is possible to get a trustworthy, licensed, insured and bonded handyman just like the old days. I will definitely call them for any handyman service. I highly recommend Trusted Handyman for a job well done.

Tried to use Edgar for some simple household work. He said he would come by, we scheduled a day and time, then he never showed up or communicated with me ever again. Weird. He sounded like a decent guy on the phone. Can't comment on his work because I was completely blown off.

Edgar was most helpful and accommodating!. His subcontractors'(linoleum and tile)work was poorly done. I am going to have to hire someone to redo the tile on my walk in shower. Water continually needs to be cleaned up as the the slant was not done correctly. The linoleum has already split and it is only a few month's old.

Edgar and his team helped us out on short notice to complete some plumbing, heating, carpentry, minor electrical, and general maintenance repairs requested by a homebuyer. Did good and quick and honest work. Pricing, though it was not our highest priority, seemed more than fair when all was said and done. Just take the lead on communication, and be a little proactive about getting the pricing in advance if cost is your priority.

I have called Edgar out for a simple job on a property I manage 3 times, starting over a month ago. Each time he has sworn that he is on is way to meet our agent and has never called, showed up, or even texted all three times. He's completely ignored all contact and made it clear he doesn't care to do this job.
Don't waste your time trying to use this company.

Edgar comes across as a nice guy but be careful not to let him over charge you. Get receipts and watch his every move. He will double and triple the price of materials and equipment. He likes to use clients personal things rather than his own and leaves messes, never cleans up after a job. He is Arrogant, disrespectful and talks down to clients as if they don't know anything and will take advantage of people in difficult situations.

I had a bunch of drywall and paint touchup needed in my townhome. Edgar came right out, gave me a written bid, and scheduled a time to come complete the work. He and his guys showed up right on time and did an excellent job. I recommend Trusted Handyman.

My niece had a big problem, her swamp cooler had been leaking on her manufactured home and a large hole opened up in her bathroom and kitchen ceiling. She had water damage inside and outside.I contacted Edgar for my niece and when Edgar saw the damage he said he would start immediately because thunderstorms was in the forcast.He replaced the swamp cooler, new roof sheeting and blended in new shingles, removed wet insulation,installed new sheet rock and painted to match. His work was excelent, he kept me informed and finished ahead of schedule. I highly recomend Edgar from Trusted Handyman

I have used Edgar on several occasions over the past 8 years. From figuring out and fixing why our condo was flooding when 3 other plumbers couldn't to installing our new quartz sink which looks awesome, and most recently installing our new hot water heater and bringing everything up to code. As far as I'm concerned Edgar will always be our go to handyman whenever we need something done. Highly recommend.

Scheduled a time with Edgar to come out to my rental house that needed pressure washing and he never showed. Called him and I got all these excuses of why he didn't show. Scheduled him again and I'm not even sure if he went by the house or not because I never heard back from him. His lack of communication and follow through doesn't even deserve the one star!

Excellent work on caulking bathroom floor. He really got to the problem within minutes. I asked him to add a door strip along the door. It was something totally unrelated. The job was done quickly. Thorough.

Good work, but terrible communications and scheduling skills.

This is a company that I called to get an estimate for some yard work. the next day I came from work to discover that someone had entered my yard without my permission while I was not home, and done the work without my having signed a contract or agreed to the price.

Love the great work that Edgar and his staff do over at Trusted Handyman. I have used them several times for various projects from cleaning a clogged drain, to installing a water heater. They are honest, knowledgeable and reasonably priced.
