True Grit repaired my leaking roof, and also replaced damaged vents. They did a great job. I highly recommend them.

They showed up the same day for a free inspection. Once a leak was confirmed, they had repairs done on a Sunday. I'm very happy with their work.

We were really impressed. We had an emergency roof patch that was needed after a storm and true grit came out within two hours of my call in the evening. They were very communicative. Thorough and professional. Had a leak and wasn't sure if the roof needed a full replacement. Completely impressed with our experience with True Grit. Each person we dealt with was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Especially considering the fact we were at a point that they were here to repair a different roofing company’s work. For 5 years I had been calling the original installer of our new roof to repair leaks happening and damaging the inside and outside of our home. They kept saying they’ve repaired it until this year when they said it’s gotten so bad a different contractor has to come in to repair the wood rot, because that’s not something they do. I thought that was odd since that seems to me something a roofing company would have to deal with all time. So, I called True Grit for another opinion. With their inspection I found out many things the other roofer was not telling me, with deep details including pictures and explanations, never bashing the prior work (which I always find admirable in business), only explaining why the ‘repairs’ never solved the problems, and that they could remedy all of it. I got a very reasonable bid for the repairs, and moved forward. The work has since been completed. The experience included constant communication, easy & efficient documentation and payments systems, and a super clean site and crew. Upon completion I received more detailed pictures of the progress and finish work. Very pleased with True Grit and would highly recommend for all your roofing needs.

In the fall of 2023 we sprung a leak in our roof after a night of heavy rain and wind. It was going to rain again the next day and we needed that leak to be sealed off since it was leaking through our attic and into our master bedroom. I called several roofing companies and only True Grit showed up first thing in the morning. They had a tarp up and an estimate provided before any of the other roofing companies showed up or called back. I cancelled everyone else.

True Grit was patient and waited for the insurance to finalize. That was a nightmare. I have American Family and they suffered a data breach so everything took months rather than weeks to get sorted insurance wise. The patch held through all of that. In January of 2024 they started work on the roof, the entire roof was replaced, the gutters were also replaced. It all looks very beautiful. It has been a year and no problems with the roof since it was finally completed.

We did have another windstorm and a large branch hit the gutter at the front of the house, it was crushed and needed to be replaced. I called True Grit and they had someone out to give an estimate on that section of guttering and got it replaced.

If you are looking for a roofing company I can 100% recommend them. They are very good, they are responsive and they are willing to work around the insurance timeline.

This company is the best. Incredibly responsive, willing to make room in schedule for last minute emergencies. Did not charge to come out and inspect damage and recommend solutions when roof was not the issue. When roof needed to be repaired, completed work promptly and at reasonable price. I had a unique roof repair that required some siding to be replaced and flashing to be added to the area. Work was really good in my opinion, took a couple weeks to get scheduled but quality work.

It’s been a few months since a new roof was put on my house and I have no complaints or critiques. This is very unusual based on my past experiences with many contractors and being someone that does a lot of his own work. I walked the roof a couple times looking for anything subpar and didn’t find it. I appreciate the attention to detail like using chalk lines to cut strait lines along the flashing and edges. They replaced damaged wood and worked with me to tie into existing improvements.The few minor and unavoidable concerns I brought up after the job, were all properly mitigated to my satisfaction. The job was done well quickly without extended breaks or pauses between phases. I’d recommend to friends and family.

Great experience from start to finish. We had leaks that needed repaired, I called to set up a consultation, and someone answered right away. They had no problem finding a date and time that worked with my schedule. The consult was punctual, thorough, and well-explained. They took pictures and showed me everything that needed repaired and were upfront about what issues they may run into. I received a quote within a week and the work was scheduled not long after. All of the workers were polite, punctual, and did a great job cleaning up after (if you've ever had roof work done, you know how messy it can be). I received a big file full of pictures of the work. True Grit was one of the only roofing companies I talked with who quoted to fix my actual problem rather than trying to get me to commit to battling with my insurance company. They worked to get my roof on the schedule earlier than anticipated and all the work was done quickly and professionally. While there was a little confusion around the end of the project, when I called to voice a concern, Omar was out at my house same day to get us back on the same page and handle wrap up. Would definitely hire this team again.

The team at True Grit are amazing all the way around. I called about a leak in my water heater vent pipe and someone came out within a day to inspect. Had the roof on our 3 y/o deck replaced because of wind damage and added a soffit to enlarge the roof surface. We have recently had a number of contractors for concrete work, remodeling, painting etc.; Sergio and his crew were by far the best to work with and provided results that exceeded our expectations at a price that was fair and reasonable. Communication was the best we have had with any contractor we have ever dealt with. Alas, if only they did plumbing. Job well done.

True Grit repaired a roof leak and some previously incorrectly vented fans. They did great work and solved a leak that another roofing company twice said they fixed but never actually did. Additionally in both the bid and actual work they give you pictures and video of the diagnosis or issue, then the same of the completed work. They are professional and quickly resolved any concerns we had. There's a lot of roofimg companies out there, but this is one you can trust to do great work. Thanks again True Grit.

True Grit has repaired some problems with my roof (put on by another company). They responded quickly when I called to say I had holes in my roof from tree limbs falling on my roof. They tarped up the holes to prevent further leaking in my house until I get a quote from them. Thanks so much.

After getting an unexpected roof leak in our new bathroom remodel, I called several companies straight from google. Nobody could come out the same day, I get it. It was last minute...until I found True Grit. They were very responsive, even though my job was small Luis came out the same day, gave me an email bid, with pics. Luis went up in my attic temporarily fixed the water from coming through, and came back two days later when the rain stopped and fixed it. Luis is a genuinely nice, professional person. I like their business model. He kept in contact with me the whole time. The leak was fixed in under two hours, the bill came the next day online, with step by step pics ( I have never seen this before and I was very impressed) , I paid it and I don't think I will ever call another roofer. They do construction as well, and I will be needing gutter estimate, and will be calling True-Grit. 5 Stars!

Edit2: Since my first edit I’ve been contacted and we are actively working at resolving this issue while partnering with a 3rd company. Will leave final update once all is complete. Fingers crossed that issue is resolved for good.

Edit: Dropped my review from 5 to 2 due to the company leaving me with a leak that drips into one of my roof vents and leaks slowly into my bedroom. Every time it snows or we have heavy rain. They came out numerous times to resolve the issue and tried different types of vents to resolve but ultimately ended up ghosting me after a failed attempt back in March 2024. I will reach out yet again to see if I get any response.

Working with True Grit from the initial phone call to the final inspection was as easy and smooth as possible. For once, we felt that we had a perfect experience and nothing negative to say about the way they handled everything.

Luis was great, super responsive, knowledgeable and flexible throughout the whole process. He answered a million questions that I had and was very thorough in explaining the process as well as our options.

The crew that came out to do the work were hard at work all day long to ensure that they'd be done in one and a half days. We had our entire roof replaced and new gutters installed. They also reinstalled my existing gutter guards. They were always on time when they said they'd be here and cleaned up well after the job was finished.

Our insurance adjuster and Luis communicated directly to make sure everything was covered. The roof looks uniform and looks super clean. The gutters were tested today as it rained pretty hard and they all seemed to be working as expected.
