We looked long and hard before purchasing our topper from Eric and Truck Mate. We are so glad we bought from Truck Mate! Eric was great to work with: knowledgeable, friendly, very responsive to questions, and as cheap as anyone around. The whole experience was worth the two hour drive and if there are other accessories that we are looking for I won't bother looking around ...I will gladly go back to Truck Mate and Eric!

Eric is the guy. He’s done both my dad’s truck and mine. Mine was a challenge, but he got it done right. Highly recommended.

I was having issues with my interior rope lights that I had installed at a very large dealership. After waiting 4 weeks for the part from my original installer, I cancelled my order and found truck mate toppers using the dealer locator for my ARE topper. They had my parts in 1 week. Living 30 minutes away Eric texted me with his own personal number using pictures and videos to help me troubleshoot my problem. I thought that I could fix this part myself and it ended up being something that was beyond my abilities.I brought the truck to Eric and told him to fix it whenever he had time... all of my parts were in an ice cream pail from when I tried to fix it. I felt terrible leaving it that way, but I was at my wits end. He called me the next day and had everything completely fixed, it ended up being a bad ground. Their customer service went above and beyond what I was expecting, I would fully recommend this place to anyone.

I had broke the back window of my topper. When I went to get a quote and window ordered, the service was outstanding. The parts arrived fast and I had many options to select from for install. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, the staff had made sure the side windows were all working properly as well. This was something we did not discuss or mention. The one lock was seized up, and is now working again. This up and above service is so appreciated, and did not cost me extra. The true care and dedication to a quality job. Beyond happy with my experience and strongly recommend!

Don's install target time of 20 minutes was spot on; with a little extra for chat time. Recommend by Technicians List to apply a little wax on OEM bed will help protect further. Both spray waxes shown is acceptable.

Started looking for toppers and quickly learned the only ones you can find are the expensive luxury ones with all the bells and whistles. Don had exactly what I was looking for. A simple topper that locks and keeps your stuff dry. He's got the good ones too, but if your a simple man like me, Don is your guy. He helps you install it, and even throws in a little fishing advice for good measure

Bought a used topped from Don . Lock didn’t work so told them to order one for me, THAT WAS IN JUNE, ITS NOW SEPTEMBER AND STILL NO LOCK AND NO PHONE CALLS FROM DON. When to Radco in St. Cloud today they have them in stock. Will never refer anyone to truckmate. Their customer service is awful.
