I highly recommend Elfmann Excavating for your septic needs. I initially hired a different contractor with the agreement that my septic would be replaced prior to my military deployment. The contractor re-scheduled the job multiple times resulting in it not being done. I was now deployed with no septic being completed. Elfmann was recommended to me and I couldn’t be happier. They took care of everything while I was gone and went above and beyond to work with Wright County and anyone else that was part of the process, keeping constant communication with me. Being deployed is stressful enough, unfinished business at home made it worse. Elfmann helped alleviate that additional stress and I came home to a fantastic finished product. Now I see I’m happy to see local neighbors using them for their same needs.

I needed a new septic system and I was running out of time. In the fall I tried a company that didn't have the time and provided a bid that shocked my system. Over the winter I found someone else that missed three deadlines and I had to let him go.
With three weeks left to closing I found Elfmann Excavating. Jessica came out right away to assess the project. She was very knowledgeable about septic systems. She took the time to educate me & answer my questions. I was most impressed by her ability to relieve my anxiety and assure me they could easily complete the process before the deadline. Jessica has excellent people skills and it was refreshing to deal with a women in a male dominated field.
The day of the project I met Tony. I am going to nickname him the "septic whisperer". Tony had no wasted motion-- every step of the process was orchestrated by him toward the completion of his goal. He and his crew worked well together.
I would like to thank Tony and Jessica for making my septic nightmare go away for a lot less cost than I feared!

Luckily, Elfmann Excavating LLC did not! They were FABULOUS!! Their customer service is ! This is something very hard to find these days. The folks are informative, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. Can't believe the job only took 2 full days. All debris was removed and the pad is all ready for the hubby's new toy box! It was 1 way to get him to clean out the garage!!

We called Elfmann to have them come out to check an alarm that was going off on our lift station pump. They came out on a Saturday, they were extremely knowledgeable. They spent two hours testing and eliminating various potential problems until they found a part that had gone bad. They were here almost two hours and even with the part replacement charged us less than
$200 They were amazing. We would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again if we have a problem - or for putting in our septic when we build new in a couple of years!

Great experience with Elfmann Excavating! They put in a 300’+ driveway for us last year and pulled stumps to clear the path. A year later the driveway looks like the day they put it in. Highly recommend

A neighbor referred us to Elfmann Excavating, LLC when our sewer pipe broke. They were very prompt in returning our phone calls. Within a day or so they came out to check the site, and gave us an estimate, which was very competitive and fair.They answered any questions or concerns we had before the project began.
Jessica and Tony have an incredible work ethic, and are very skilled at what they do. They were very careful and so efficient, leaving the worksite immaculate. They were even so kind as to excavate some peat from our property and spread it on the finished site for future grass seeding.

Tony did a great job. He was available for the planning part of the project and gave us good advice about how to lay out the septic system. He gave us the best price, followed through on everything he said he would do, and was responsive to our requests about how to replace the fill when the septic was in place. Our property looked very smooth and unified when he was finished. He left it in really good shape, ready for planting grass which grew in quickly. I highly recommend this company!

We had Elfmann Excavating put in a mound septic system and couldn't have been happier with the work that was done. Tony was great to work with, very personable, and really cared about the job he was doing. He made sure that everything was done correctly and went above and beyond what he knew others would skimp on. For instance he made sure the correct amount of black dirt was put on the top layer- something that is often not done since this layer is more expensive. He also installed an outdoor alarm/strobe system so that if system failed it could be monitored by neighbors if we aren't home (vs an indoor buzzer). If there is settling, which often can happen around the tanks over time, he will come back free of charge to fill it in- where others will charge for this. If you are wondering who to hire for your excavating job, don't hesitate to hire Elfmann... we are happy we did.
