We hired Alek to remodel our very outdated 40 year old master bathroom. The process was seamless from beginning to end. Alek kept to his timeline and started the project exactly when promised. His team is incredibly hardworking and professional. The crew arrived each day and placed tarps to protect our hardwood floors and cleaned up after themselves each day. Alek is very knowledgeable and experienced. He did a great job guiding us through the project and discussing different options for tile and the shower niche. He and his team were thorough and meticulous. The craftsmanship was exceptional. No detail was missed, down to replacing the old brass hinges of the door to match our chrome hardware selections. Alek did a fantastic job dismantling the old and setting up our new deck. I needed it done in a short time frame and he obliged. Courteous, professional and very dedicated. Why would we write a review when we haven't had Trimworks Inc. do any work (yet)? Because we were pleasantly surprised by the integrity of the owner, Alek. We had discussed a project for which Trimworks Inc. had provided a detailed and thorough quote. We wanted to proceed with the work and paid a deposit. As it turns out we couldn't make the timing work. Upon our asking for a return of the deposit, Alek immediately returned it by Zelle within minutes ... more like seconds! No pushback, no hassle, no problems. Incredibly respectful of our money and our time! It is quite rare to find a contractor that gives back a deposit without issue. This reinforced the credibility and trustworthiness of Trimworks Inc. We would absolutely bring them back to give us a quote for the more technically challenging things that we need to do and would not hesitate to work with them when our schedules are more aligned.

Alek did a couple of different projects for us this year. He and his team first built a tiled shower with custom glass door in our master bath. Few months later, he came back and replaced all of our old windows and sliding door. Alek's professionalism and work ethic are exceptionally good. We decided to completely remodel our 25 year old kitchen and several neighbors recommended Alek for the carpentry work. So we contracted with him to do the work. The job grew to also include remodeling the living room, dining room, laundry room and half bath. Alek and his team performed the following work for us: demolition/disposal, hardwood floor installation, painting of walls and ceilings, installation of trim, installation of a bathroom vanity and fixtures, installation of kitchen cabinets, sink, backsplash tile, garden window and crown molding and replacement of doors. Alek is a very hard worker and is reliable, he honors his commitments. His work is generally of high quality but in the rare occasion when he needs to make a change he is very responsive and happy to make the change. I would highly recommend Alek and Trimworks for any home remodel or repair.

Alek was a great find. He was recommended by our neighbor and we also saw the quality of work at his house. We did multiple projects with him over a span of 3 months: finishing couple of rooms in basement, exterior deck redo, complete exterior vinyl siding, replaced gutter, replaced roof for one of the rooms and new construction windows. He was extremely professional. He worked like he was working on his own house. He would fix all the problems he encounters as he works through which he didn't had to do and I wouldn't notice. If he saw rotted wood he would try to find the cause and fix it as well on top of replacing the rotted wood! He is very honest and didn't squeeze us for those extra fixes like other contractors do. He came up lots of suggestions as he worked through and tried to fit it in our budget by making some adjustments at the back of the house to make the front look great. At the end of it, I am super happy with the outcome and wouldn't bat an eye to hire him for another project!

Alex from Trimworks was very easy to work with. He helped us through the process of staircase remodeling, converting from stairs with carpet to hardwood. Also replacing banisters, railings and installing hardwood in our second floor hallway. Alex stuck to the schedule and came in on budget. Never left any messes behind. We are extremely happy with the end result, the stairs look great!

Alek at Trimworks provided high quality professional work at a fair cost. He showed up every day and consistently worked long hours in the heat of the summer to get the job done. Work included new vinyl siding, new gutters, trim work, custom made window headers and sills, decking, and much more including rebuilding and finishing my interior staircase. Alek communicated well as the job progressed and had fantastic ideas and suggestions that helped provide a personalized approach. It’s very challenging to find a contractor that communicates well, provides great craftsmanship and is reasonably priced, especially in this market. I can’t thank him enough. Had my house worked on for a while. Big project. Completely repainted, renovated, replaced floors, installed kitchen. Lots of interior and exterior work needed to be done, and all of it was done very well. Great quality and beautifully done.
