Tri County helped us assess damage to our home resulting from a severe wind storm. They worked closely with our insurance provider to help us with reimbursements provided in our policy. They worked quickly and left our house and yard clean and looking great! We are very pleased with the work and would highly recommend them to others.

I can’t say enough good things about Tri County! We are in process of creating an in-law suite and needed some new windows put in. The Provia windows they installed are high quality. There was a little incident when one of our windows were installed. They noticed a small crack in one of the windows but were prompt to point it out to me and have it replaced within weeks. Very easy communication, with clearly explained timeline on what was going to happen, and the installers were prompt efficient and courteous. I first met Tyler and Tri County in the summer of 2022 when I was getting quotes from companies to replace all of the original windows of my house (and replace a French door). At the time, I got about 10 quotes from 10 different companies and Tri County was at the top of the list but their window manufacturer (which offers incredible quality) added too much of a markup for making their windows black instead of white.

I ended up choosing a different contractor/company and I still somewhat regret that decision not to go with them back in 2022.

However, both Tyler and Tri County left a lasting impression on me based on their thoroughness and efficiency when it came to getting me what I needed or questions answered.

Fast forward to Fall of 2024, my house got hit by a major hailstorm with 1 inch sized hail balls. I knew it was bad when I had dozens of storm chaser companies knock on my door asking if they could inspect my roof.

Instead of calling any of them back, I immediately reached out to Tyler and asked if he could help.

Tyler told me although working with insurance companies is not the focus of Tri County, he personally had prior experience at other companies that did exactly that - it put him in a unique position in my eyes for Tri County to bring quality/accountability of work yet also have the background to ensure getting a claim approved by my insurance company. I decided to work with him.

Tyler was there every step of the way in terms of getting on the roof himself, taking tons of pictures, explaining to me that although he couldn’t “guarantee” the insurance claim would be approved, he said it’s one of the worst hail damage he’s ever seen and insurance companies have approved roof replacements for way less damage.

I filed the claim and we were on our way.

He showed up when the insurance adjusters came and even was up there pointing out and circling in chalk all the areas of damage so the adjuster didn’t miss it.

We were doing all of this BEFORE I had even signed any type of contract with Tri County.

I was NEVER pressured into immediately signing one of those shady, binding exclusive-right-to-work contract with Tri County.

Tyler was just helpful. Always. Like a true professional acting with integrity.

He was extremely patient with my wife and I when we took forever deciding on roof shingle colors, trim/gutter colors, changing the scope of work to add more, etc. I must have asked him a hundred questions throughout and he always answered at-length so I was never surprised by anything.

The claim was ultimately approved and I signed the contract with Tri County to do the work.

Less than a week later, I signed another contract with them to replace my front door (instead of the other contractor I used back in 2022) as it was on my list of to-do’s for awhile and I simply wanted to give Tyler more business based on all of my positive interactions with him.

Now that all of the work is complete - I can 100% say it was one of the best decision I’ve made because the crews doing the job were just as professional, efficient, and provided incredible quality in their work (caulking was PERFECT).

When installing my front door, they were the first crew to ask me questions about how I wanted the color design to look like before they started. And I’m glad they did because I changed my mind twice in an hour and they were totally flexible to ensure the desired end state was accomplished.

Most other crews would have just showed up, started the work, and knocked on my door when it was finished - where more than likely I would have been like “What the Eff? That’s NOT how I wanted that to look!” And it would have been a huge debacle to undo it.

Not with Tri County.

The front door of my townhouse had served its lifetime.....it was out of true, dented, and it was hard to keep the wind from coming in regardless of the insulation I added. Not having a clue of what constitutes a good door (even after researching at Home Depot, Lowes, and internet, etc), I used a couple of service apps to schedule 5 reputable companies to give me bids. I learned quite a bit from these about doors, materials, labor etc. Most of the bids were very close.....except for the shysters. By this I mean the hard sell, ACT NOW type. Two gave me bids that were good for a year. If I scheduled within 6 months, the bid was 25% off. Schedule TODAY!! and it is almost 45% off! When I asked why I had to schedule today, the reason they gave was the rep didnt have to return to sign the contract, etc. Ummmm.....everything is done online now, so that wasnt a valid reason. It was all about forcing you to panic and sign then and there.
I decided on Tri County Windows and Siding. Tim, the owner came to my house, was so informative and patient in explaining the difference with not just the doors, but the difference with his company and others. I was impressed with his honesty and sincerity. No hard sell. In fact he wouldnt write up the contract until 3 days later so I had time to mull my decision. I did sign with him. The doors were installed last week, and I called to ask him to send the bill for the balance. He told me to wait a week, to make sure everything went well. It did.

Tri County is one of the most honorable companies with whom I have done house related projects. They answer phone calls and questions. They are helpful and conscientious. They stand behind their work. Their work is of quality. Their staff is very professional. All of these traits are very important to me as a senior lady tending to her home.

We had a fabulous experience working with Tim at Tri County Windows and would recommend them to anyone. In 2022 and 2023, Tri County replaced over 20 original windows and then installed new siding, trim, and gutters, added two new windows where there hadn’t been windows before, and installed a new front door surround. Their bids were competitive and fair. Tim was a great sounding board on the design. Both projects were significant and completed totally professionally and quickly. The communication with Tim and his team was seamless. The experience overall was excellent and I would undoubtedly work with them again in the future.

We worked with Tim to replace all the windows in our home, and we are very happy with the results. Tim was very responsive, professional, and patient throughout the process, and although we got a few estimates from other local companies, we are glad we went with Tim. Turnaround on the windows was quicker than we expected (and compared to estimates from other companies), and Tri County's prices were very reasonable. The installation team was also very quick and courteous with their work, and everything (including cleanup) was complete within a handful of hours. Installation was a breeze and the windows have been holding up great, even through some of the most extreme temps we've experienced in a while! I hired Tri-County after watching them diligently install all new windows on a neighbor's house in one day. Great product and great service (from customer service to installation and afterwards). I've had 2/3 of my windows replaced over the last year and couldn't be happier. Being able to break up the replacement installation into sets of five windows at a time was helpful to me as I was able to have the windows installed as I was able to pay for them at no extra charge. My energy costs over this cold winter were reduced and my home's temperature much more consistent and comfortable.

Tri County did an efficient, quality job replacing our windows. We have lots of windows and their crew took out all of the old windows, installed new Pro Via windows, and did an excellent job finishing the windows on the inside and outside, all in one day. And they did the work for thousands less than the big name replacement window companies that spend their money on advertising. Excellent and professional Service from A to Z. The sliding door is beautiful and works well. The initial meeting with Tyler was very easy with no sales pressure. He showed us all the options and we went with our choice. Try county did a great job with our project. We got quotes from least 7-8 companies and they were best price witch same if not better model of windows. So impressed! I have never written a comment for a company I did NOT buy from. I found Tri County referenced on a Loudoun Facebook group and many people recommended them so I decided to get a quote on replacing a few windows in rooms that were chronically cold. Tim spent over an hour waking around the interior and exterior of the home, looking for the root cause… looking to see if the house shingles and insulation were properly installed. He was so honest about what new windows would and would not achieve regarding the cold transfer from exterior walls to floors and beyond. He educated me, gave me quotes on the spot that seemed very fair and brought a folder for me to keep with over 4 pages of client referrals, names and numbers. Never did he try to “sell me” anything. It was clear that Tim is all about quality and service. He even gave me names of other contractors who could help me with repairs to loose Hardy Board planks and other renovation projects, and they too turned out to me impeccably honest, great work and affordable. So while I did not buy anything from Tri County, one thing is for sure, when I am ready to buy, I will absolutely think of none other than Tim Grantz and team.

We used Tri County to replace a 21 year-old builder-grade basement sliding glass door. We were very happy with the service provided and the quality of the door and install. I highly recommend Tri County Windows and Siding. We had a great experience from start to finish. We hired them for new siding, trim, gutters, shutters, etc. Tim was thorough and patient as we surveyed my house at the start of the project. He helped me identify what improvements I should focus on and what products worked best for my house. Our house project was “assigned” to Tyler who helped me select the colors and products. Tyler provided guidance on how to file a claim with my insurance company. He was persistent (in a good way) with my insurance company and helped me throughout the whole process. He met with the insurance adjustor on more than one occasion to make sure I was getting the best coverage under my policy. The crew was fantastic. Brian was the project manager/foreman. He is skilled professional and appeared to know how to do everything. He communicated with me during the project to ask for my input and advise me of their progress. The crew was so hard working! They worked from appx. 8am-6pm almost every day for a week. I could not be happier with the finished product.

My husband and I recently got 2/4 of our sliding doors replaced with Tri County and we could not be happier with the services and product that we received. Tim walked us through the process and appropriate products thoroughly, without pushing any services and was available via phone, text or email immediately to answer any questions that I had. We were considering a few slightly cheaper options but ultimately decided that the quality and service that Tri County would offer was worth the (slightly, but barely higher) cost. We are so glad we went with them because the doors Tim recommended look incredible and I couldn't believe how fast his workers put them in. Had a full house of windows and two glass sliding doors replaced by Tri-Country. The whole process was easy, starting with the estimate. Tim had a couple creative suggestions for a couple of the larger window spaces that others did not. The total price was very competitive.

The installation process itself was also very spot-on... the crew came on-time the morning of the installation, finished the whole job (around 25 windows + 2 glass sliding doors) in the one day, and cleaned up well. No evidence they were there other than the new windows!

Post-installation I had one small issue which was fixed very quickly, like the day after I called them. Max came and took care of it. Highly recommend these guys, well done!

Tim and the Tri County team made the job of replacing 7 windows and patio door a breeze. The initial visit for an estimate and review of window options was painless and informative. Once we received the estimate we asked many questions, received prompt responses, and finally settled on all of the details. Scheduling the install was easy, the team clearly knew what they were doing, fixed rotten areas and replaced siding where needed, and kept the work area clean. A friend recommended Tri County to me, and I have recommended them to my friends as well. We had another company install windows a few years ago and were not nearly as pleased with the experience as we are with Tri County.

We were looking to replace the older exterior doors on our residence. Based on recommendations from friends and neighbors, and customer ratings, we contacted Tri-County. Tim Graetz was extremely responsive in coming to our house to provide information and recommendations. Tim took the time to explain various features of both the doors and installation project and provided drawings of the chosen door to support our HOA application. Maximus Lee, the chief installer was very efficient taking final measurements, etc. Installation was handled in one day and the crew did a very good job explaining things and cleaning up. We had a problem with the color (which we had selected) of the door trim on the new front door and a panel on the entry door from the garage. Tri-County replaced the garage door panel. Tri-County replaced the door trim kit with a new color at no cost to us. Tri-County has a great reputation in our area, and based on this experience I have to say it is well deserved.

Tim Grantz is quick to respond, very professional, knowledgeable and a straight shooter. He even advised us against replacing our doors and saved us a ton. Justin and his crew, who were in charge of the installation were friendly, professional and remarkably efficient. We are very impressed with their workmanship and attention to detail. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards and detailed each windows as a nice finishing touch! Great local business, highly recommended!!

We hired Tri County Windows and Siding to install 50 windows and 3 doors. Tim the owner is very professional, friendly and very helpful. His install team is awesome. They have been with the company for a long time and their workmanship shows. The windows and doors we got are such great quality and come with a great warranty. Tri County knows what they are doing and they were great to work with. I am so glad we hired them.

Tim was very professional and responsive and went into great detail about the window selection and installation. Tri County replaced all of our windows with Provia Aspect windows. Jason and his crew did a great job installing the windows, was receptive to all my questions along the way, and gave me a tutorial on how to operate the windows after they were installed. The crew was very careful and tidy, didn’t hit any walls and cleaned up everything before they left. Definitely recommend!

We had TriCounty replace all our siding with Hardie as well as all the trim on the house and dormer windows. They exceeded our expectations in every way. I am happy to report Tim, Brian and the crew were extremely professional, on time, on budget and the work was impeccable. Replacing siding is a huge job - they handled it perfectly!

Scott and Patti were fantastic from start to finish on our door project. We had a Provia slider installed to replace our 20-yr old hinged back door. From the consulting on the choice of door to the installation, they were knowledgeable and professional. Note that it took about 13 weeks for the door to arrive from the manufacturer and thus it's wise to plan accordingly. We'll be using tri county again!

Tri County installed 38 windows for one of our apartment buildings and they did so in a little over 6 hours. Scott was very professional and informative from the beginning. I needed replacement windows for my home so that I could put it on the market. Tri County gave me a great price and kept me well informed as to scheduling. The day of the install I was working in the house all day so was there during the entire install. The crew was courteous, diligent and professional. I had 18 windows replaced and from tearout to completed install, the crew was done in 6 hours. They cleaned up after themselves, made sure I understood the new windows and made the entire experience very simple. Can't recommend them highly enough.
