The guys at Tough Roofing are fantastic to work with. They showed up at 7am sharp to remove the old roof, and by dinnertime we had a brand new roof! Going with a small, family-run business gave us more confidence in their work, because they don't subcontract the labor. We also didn't have to wait as long to get on their schedule as with a larger company. Pedro communicated well from the free inspection to the cleanup, even sharing photos of the work in progress during the day of installation. Tough Roofing had the best price in town, and we're very happy with the roof they built!

Pedro and his team just replaced our roof. It was a complex roof with three layers that needed to be stripped before the new roof could be installed . They repaired the rotted fascia board they found and carefully removed and then replaced our gutters. The whole crew was fantastic and so hard-working. The price was very reasonable. They use a very large crew so the tear off was completed in one day, all the debris was removed that night and the house was watertight before they left that first day. Installation of the new roof was equally quick with a large crew and organized workflow. They kept the site very clean and were very respectful of our windows and landscaping. Just all around very easy to work with. They take a magnet around the property to do their best to find any nails that escaped their cleanup as well. The new roof looks great and stood up beautifully to our recent atmospheric rivers. Pedro was very flexible with the roofing material choices (we ended up using malarkey) and advised us about new vents so that we would be in compliance for our warranty. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Tough Roofing was the only company out of the four we contacted that provided a complete project quote after meeting with us just once on site. They fixed a number of issues in our old roof; in particular they brought the venting up to code. They also took care of siding rot on our dormer that was revealed after the job got started. The entire re-roofing job was done quickly and well and the site was perfectly cleaned up. We are so happy to have our properly installed roof now that the rain has hit. Highly recommend their work!

Update: They did come and finish the roof install and a patch on another house (did a great job - quality is certainly great). Changing to a 4 star due to the year to get it finished but hope to have the opportunity to change it back to a 5 star with the next project.

Changing review to a 1 star from 5 star. I'm a general contractor, used Tough Roofing for several houses, but they never finished the last house and won't return calls, texts, or voice mail. I've tried literally dozens of times to get a hold of them.

The team was great! We had a leak in our roof we had tried fixing and couldn't figure out. Other companies wanted to book over a month out to even look at it. Tough Roofing came out in a few days, and had a team back to fix it in less than a week. They worked fast, found the problem, were very friendly and affordable. I waited till we had a few heavy rains before writing a review. The leak is completely fixed and we were very happy with the service. We'll be recommending them.

We live in an apartment complex that had our building reroofed. During this process they protected our front flowerbed with a plywood teepee, however they didn’t think the back flower bed with flowers, birdbath and feeder should be protected. Our birdbath got broken and flowers smashed more than one time. They were ready to make their ooops mistakes right. They covered the cost to replace birdbath and the flowers. This went a long way with us; as they corrected the wrong. We appreciated their honesty and integrity .
