Total Builders is among the absolute best contractors I’ve worked with in nearly thirty years working in the trades and adjacent to them. Ted Blaser and his team completely rehabbed a house on Lake Koshkonong between 2014 and 2019. They started with fixing the existing dilapidated garage by making it plumb and level again, bracing and reinforcing the framing to make it ready for the next 100 years. They redid just about everything else from the roof to the siding and doors. We were so happy with the outcome that we began using Ted for every project, and he continued to deliver at an extraordinarily high level of quality and reasonable pricing. Future projects included a deck about the size of an aircraft carrier (1200sq ft and it was elegantly framed and decked around a giant tree) and matching stairs as it was built into the side of a hill, converting the home from a 3 bedroom 2 bath to a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home. He helped us move the entry door, he helped us open up the space by eliminating columns and reinforcing other framing so that larger windows and massive patio doors could be added without concerns. They did flooring throughout the home, spray foam insulation, oversight for a complete electrical modernization, a new roof, new siding, new skylights and they even relocated the kitchen from the dark center of the home to the lakeview side of the home so that both guests and occupants could enjoy time preparing food and eating together. We literally cannot say enough nice things about Ted and his team. We have so many videos and photos to support this claim and will add them at the next opportunity.
