Nick and the crew from Top Midwest Construction are great to work with. We had storm damage to our roof, gutters, windows, doors, decks, and other outdoor items. Nick did a thorough inspection of the damage. He collected all the bids for the repairs and worked with our insurance company to get everything approved. Raul and his crew did a great job on the roof. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves so we didn't have to worry about the dogs stepping on anything when we took them out. Aurturo did a great job with the gutters. Without being asked, he made some changes to the way the gutters route the water to prevent issues wirh water leaks that we had experienced in the past. Based on my experience working wirh Nick and the team at Top Midwest Construction, I would recommend them and will call them for future work if the need should arise.

Our experience with Top Midwest started back in 2021 shortly after purchasing our home. After one of the first major spring rainstorms, we realized we had damage to our roof and gutter causing flooding near the base of our home. Joe came out quickly and the roof and gutter were replaced in no time!! Such a relief when just days before you had a pond along the foundation of your house!!

Flash forward to late February (2024) when a tornado came through the neighborhood. My first call was to Top Midwest out of concern for our roof. I heard back from Nick almost immediately. During what I’m sure was an extremely busy time for them, Nick came out the next day to assess the damage. Between the wind and hail, we needed a new roof, new gutters and repair to some soffit (like many others in the neighborhood). Nick walked us through every step of the process and was always available to answer questions. The crew who did the work was extremely professional, extremely clean, and took extra caution around our flowerbeds. Nick stopped by the day of and always kept us in the know of what was happening. The roof looks GREAT and neighbors have commented about the improvements and how impressed they were with the crew. While others in the neighborhood still have those blue tarps on their roofs, waiting for repairs….our work is complete and we couldn’t be happier!! In all, any future small or large projects, our first call will be to Top Midwest Construction!!

Called for an assessment after we had some hail damage for a storm. Came out same day I called and were extremely quick about helping to file a claim with my insurance. They replaced our roof, gutters, and downspouts without any issue. Great company, would highly recommend.

I have experience in roofing many homes, and I also work for the biggest home retail company. So it was nice to hear Nick talk about all the quality products that they use on their roofs. All the questions I was going to ask, he already had all the answers to. The roofing crew they had run by Raul were very impressive. Raul made sure if I had any concerns just to ask. The speed and quality of workmanship was outstanding! Roofing is a highly skilled trade and should only be done by veteran professionals. Raul’s crew are definitely veteran professionals.

I loved the job they did so much that I asked Nick if he could put new gutters on as well. Nick of course said no problem, my guy Arturo can take care of that. Arturo and his crew did an awesome job on my gutters. I wanted to extend my downspouts on the ground and Arturo said no problem. They ran out of downspout material, so he promised me he would finish the extensions I wanted the next day. When I came home the next day they were all finished, and it looked amazing. I contacted Top Midwest Construction at the beginning of February inquiring about a quote for a complete roof tear off/installation. I was intending on paying cash, as this wasn’t an insurance claim for damage…my leaky roof was simply 2,000 years old with missing shingles and damaged plywood in spots.

Nick responded to my text immediately, and we landed on an inspection date. He came out the following week to inspect my roof indicating that he’d handle everything and wouldn’t need me around for it (I work full-time). A few days later, he presented me with a very competitive quote for a new roof. After some research and checking out other companies, I chose Nick/TMWC and they installed my roof on an unseasonably warm and beautiful February day (70 degrees!!).

I just want to say, from beginning to end, Nick was a joy to work with. He answered all my questions thoroughly and quickly, brought by a stack of actual shingle samples for me to peruse and make my color choice (instead of a catalog), and he was in constant text contact with me about everything.

On the big day, he was right outside keeping me updated, sending pics, and explaining every step that was happening before it happened. Once he and the crew were finished (arrived around 730a and finished around 6/630p), besides the beautiful new roof and chimney (and cleaned out gutters, yay!), it’s like they were never here. They left the areas outside my home spotless.

Got our roof done! Top Midwest Construction did a great job! They did a free inspection, met w/our insurance adjuster, got the needed permit, did the roof replace within 8 hours including clean-up, and had the village inspector approved their work. We had some windows replaced by Pella. The installers commented on what a fantastic job was done on our siding and flashing...they were impressed. Joe and his crew did the siding/flashing. Again, highly recommend!

The company installed new roof and gutters for us as well as wrapped fascia and soffits with aluminum. All three look excellent. The weather was up and down thru the work, but Joe and his crew adjusted to that and completed the project as weather permitted. We really liked the fact that they waited for a few days for weather to clear rather than rush the work and spoil the quality.

Joe's Team did a great job installing new gutters and repairing a wind damaged section. Very helpful and courteous. 100% improvement.

A couple of our neighbors used Top Midwest Construction after a hail storm had passed through our area and referred them to us. As home owners for 20+ years, this was our first experience with a homeowners insurance claim. Our project manager/adjuster Nick was amazing. He handled "EVERYTHING". Nick was able to work with our insurance company and get us a pretty large increase from what they originally offered to cover. From the first day we met Nick in our driveway, it only took 3 weeks to get a new roof, siding, gutters and downspouts. Our house looks NEW.
