I'm giving 2 stars only because Carlos and Alondra were pretty easy to work with. When they finished I went to inspect their work. I'm a retired building contractor with 35 years experience. I found buckled shingles, ridge shingles installed wrong, flashing installed wrong, broken siding and trim, nail holes in shingles that were just caulked and left to leak later. Overall I found very poor workmanship. I sent pictures of some of the problems to Alondra and they responded quickly but unfortunately their crew is lacking in skills and they work way too fast. I told Carlos I would fix the flashing myself. When I removed the shingles to repair the flashing, I found loose nails from the old roof under the underlayment. That's just sloppy from going too fast. I'll probably need to replace this roof again in a year or two because there are most likely more old nails under the underlayment. I will not hire them again

Brother and sister Carlos & Alondra were wonderful to work with. Their bid to replace a 24 square roof on a single story home in Newport was far more competitive that other companies. They didn't skimp and installed a 40 year 130mph wind rated roof, were able to schedule us within a couple of weeks of calling them (they took advantage of a break in their schedule), and completed the entire job including cleanup in less than a day. Yes, roof prices have literally gone through the roof in the past few years, but I'd recommend at least calling them for a bid before you decide who to go with.

We needed a roof on our coastal home, its a big investment & should be researched before a contractor is chosen & work scheduled, I've done the homework & Top Line Roofing Company offers the most for the $, compare prices, materials used, quality of work, efficiency- the job Carlos & his crew did was outstanding, the fact they use stainless flashing & fasteners is what caught my attention, we live on the coast, that's very important. Having worked in the trades for many years i have a good ability to judge contractors...I was one, Carlos & Topline Roofing run a tight crew that will give you a quality roof at an affordable price, thanks guys!

Did a great job coming to our house in a Lincoln city, Oregon to do the roof work over a patio overhang. Came over and did a great job, highly recommended local business.

Great work and responsible workers. House had unexpected additional repairs. Didn’t faze Top Line. They had everything done and cleaned up same day.

Carlos was great to work with. We called five places and Top Line was the only one to care enough to return our call. He showed up for the estimate on time and was friendly and knowledgeable. Not only did they do a great job replacing the old gutters (which were undersized and poorly done by another company), but he also was able to fix a very tricky roof leak. All done in a timely and efficient manner. We highly recommend these guys. They know what they are doing!

Made an appointment for a roofing quote (a week in advance). No Call / No Show.
An hour after the appointment time I called into the office, no answer on the first try so I waited another 10 minutes and tried again. A woman answers who we initially made the appointment with) she stated that Carlos knows, we had a morning meeting. I'll call and find out what's going on.…
Another hour goes by... Still no return calls.
Finally over 2 hours after our scheduled appointment, Carlos just shows up like everything's fine and theres no big deal.
Then when called out on the fact of the No Call / No Show, He starts making excuses to explain his way out of it.

What a bunch of malarkey. Can only imagine how these clowns actually perform once they actually have the job! No excuse for lying to your customers face.

New shingles, new gutters all around. Loved these guys (and gal). Starting with having a very communicative office assistant that responded to calls and questions quickly. Many of our requests for estimates were met with problems with crew shortage and availability but Top Line got us on their calendar and met it. Top notch crews for each phase of the process. Very pleased!! So much so I returned to their office and gave them tips all around.

Our experience with Top Line Roofing was top notch. They are thoroughly professional from their office employee to the crew. Everything was done extremely well in a timely manner. Their customer service is excellent. All in all it was one of the best experiences ever with contractors. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our roof and gutters look terrific, perform perfectly and their price was very competitive. What a great group of people. I paid a thousand dollars so Carlos and his brother and father could fix a leak in my garage roof. "It will not leak again," they promised. It did, in the exact same spot, and when I called, Carlos forgot his promise and told me he would have to re-roof my entire garage. He would give me a bid. That was February 2020. I texted him again in August 2020. I never heard from him again. I left messages, but he did not return my calls. I'm a senior citizen with a home in Newport, Or. I am very disappointed.

TopLine responded quickly to repair our storm-damaged roof. The job was started and completed on time. We live out of town right now, but the construction professional who oversaw the work for us has confirmed the quality of the work. Moreover, the owner and his staff are very pleasant to work with.

I had the roof inspected, and due to a leak, and age, had it replaced by this company. They were very professional, showing up with a full crew, and working for 2 days to replace my roof. Cleaning up after they finished. Very impressed.
