SHOULD BE YOUR FIRST CALL!

I had spent weeks dealing with the other guys and hadn't even got any mitigation done. I called Disaster Master. They showed up within 20 minutes, did a thorough inspection, and bid me a price that was half of those other guys. Not only was the price more reasonable (other guys were trying to rip me off I think), They had better equipment, and got to work right away! They were very professional, thorough, and worked with us to make sure we understood the process. Patrick was a god send for us as he was very communicative, and was great at ensuring we understood the process.

The initial assessment was fine and the team was tidy. However once work began the team went beyond what was initially assessed without consulting me first. This became a problem when the team started chipping out insulation. They didn't know what it was although I explained that in a prior flood Service Masters had left it in place. About half way through they decided it was not economically feasible to continue and in any case they don't think it was wet. And now I'm paying thousands to replace insulation that two other contractors said should not have been removed because it was a sealed system that does not get wet.

The office manager, Marena, was promptly responsive and communicative and coordinated well the visits by the field crew. The initial inspection by Patrick was informative and helped us understand the probable causes of our attic mold (blockage of the soffet vents) so that we could take steps to avoid the situation in the future. Gareth and Angel, who performed the actual mitigation work, were safety oriented, very efficient and informative, explained everything they were doing, and gave extra checks to things that concerned us. Overall, they did a fine job.

I needed help reclaiming my trashfilled, rodent infested, mildewed cabin that was left unoccupied for years. It was overwhelming. This team didnt even blink - they were efficient, organized, worked together as a team and were a delight to work with. They did what they said they would in the time they said it would take. I have rarely, if ever, been so impressed. Thank you - I know it was a messy job, and you did it in a professional manner and maintained a positive attitude. Absolutely amazing group of people (owner, office staff and the on site team)!

Great local business and great team. Had a problem in my crawlspace and they were able to "fit us in" same day to have a look and provide a quote. Services were easy to schedule and the team was very communicative throughout. Price was fair and was in-line with the quote. Work was also exactly as described. The team completing the work was very nice and took extra precautions to keep my home clean and safe since the access was in one of my kids' rooms. I had a family tragedy in the past two weeks where I found my brother passed a room in my home. He was staying with me after the current loss of his wife. His sweet dog of 14 years had also recently passed away. He was sad, but was able to spend time with family and surrounded by my dogs to keep him company.

I found him after approximately 36 hours in a room that was heated due to the heat being left on. Needless to say it was not a good situation.

The smell and the clean up was more than I could handle. I called Christian at Distaster Master in Lincoln City and he asnwered! He sent a caring crew out the next morning, even though they were busy, and they cleaned up what they could at the time ensuring any fluids were gone and the smell would be minimalized.

They just came out yesterday again and removed all the flooring and treated the subfloor. Christian and Patrick both checked on me to ensure I was okay. A business that does that isn't just in it for the money, they are there to help.

In January 2024 we had a storm at the coast that knocked the power out & caused the pump at the sewer district’s pump station to stop operating causing the sewer water from the street pipes to flood the lower level of our home with almost 2000 gallons of sewer water. It was a catastrophe & caused extensive damage to our home. I contacted Disaster Master the next morning, a Sunday on a 3 day weekend, & they had a crew here within 2 hours! It was incredible! They came on Sunday and were here every day until the job was done, almost 3 weeks. They were incredible, professional, expedient & very thorough. This was a class 3 contamination & within 2 days the flooring was out, the smell was diminished & they were decontaminating everything & began the drying process. We can’t thank them enough for all that they did. It was a devastating event & they took so much care to get our home safe & cleaned up. I highly recommend them. You can’t get better than them! Disaster Masters did amazing work for us. During a home inspection it came up that we had mold in the attic. I called DM the morning after I found out, they came out that morning to evaluate and had an estimate for me that afternoon. One week later the problem was completely remedied. Communication was excellent and they took great care to protect the home as they worked. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I could not be more pleased with a recent visit from Disaster Master. I called late last week to ask about services provided. The person I spoke with was very informative and she set up an appointment for early the following week. Christian called the morning of the appointment to confirm he was on his way. Christian visited our home today and examined the entire crawl space to determine if there was any standing water, high moisture levels, or evidence of rodents in the crawl space. Christian took several photos that showed there was no evidence of issues that required further work. This company is family-owned, very helpful, informative and honest. I would highly recommend Disaster Master.

My neighbor in my sub-division of 55+ had called Diaster Master to fix her dryer vent issue. His clean/professional truck was parked in her driveway. I said, "I have an issue with mold in my bathroom. When he had finished his work, he came over and accommodated me, his name is Greg, but when he saw my issue, he told me to call the office & ask for either Christian or Patrick. He said they were more qualified to help in this issue. I called & was greeted by a receptionist who assigned me an appt for this morning. Christian left me a message that his arrival time would be ... he showed up ON TIME after texting me his GPS status (this NEVER happens on the Central Coast of OR) there is no time zone for most of these workers! (been here 18 1/2 years- know) He shows up, in professional gear & identifing info that he is who he is & on time! Advises me as what my correction is & what the problem might be. I felt that I was in the hands of a professional and that I would not be taken advantage of as a Senior Citizen!

For all people out there needing help with a major problem at home whether it’s your home or a real estate transaction or a vacation home. I highly recommend Disater Master. I am a real estate broker principal broker 21 years on the Oregon coast and I have called Disaster Master on a numerous occasions, when I was absolutely desperate. Many instances there is no one else who wants to do the work as other companies schedules are entirely too busy to be bothered. Many said it would take weeks. If not a month or two to get things fixed and when I call Christian at Disaster Master, he responds immediately courteously kind and he fits me into his schedule or he rearranges his schedule, even if he is slammed and he completes Big jobs for me and my client are always incredibly pleased with his work. He has saved me many a real estate transaction. That’s a means the unforeseen blowout at the last minute. .Recently within the last 30 days I had a very very expensive home 3667 square-foot in the million priced dollar range and had a nasty encompassing plumbing leak that pretty much wiped out the heating system or a big part of it. I could not get the heating system fixed until I had this taken care of. I called Disaster Master and hired him for my client, and he came out the next day, assessd the problem and got right on it. He was fair. He was efficient he came when he said he would and his pricing is exactly on the money and as a real estate broker and a principal broker I know when someone’s overpriced because I do this for a living, and I know what everyone prices their work at. Also, the work that he does is top drawer. It’s super clean super neat completely done and when the heating system comes in to repair their part of what they’re doing, they are always thrilled when it’s Christian that is before them. He’s just a win-win all the time . I highly recommend him for any and all jobs you might need to have done. I would definitely say you must always get a bid from him before moving forward. You could be pleasantly surprised at the price that he will give you and the turnaround time, even if he is slammed, he’s a true professional, and we really value him here in Lincoln City Lincoln County. I cannot say enough good things about the team at Disaster Master and especially Christian Canese and Patrick. Our home suffered a plumbing failure on the top floor of a three-story house while we were out of town and over 66 thousand gallons of water soaked our home. I got a call at 6:30 in the evening that water was coming out our doors and windows from a neighbor. The water was shut off and we called Disaster Master who was there the next morning to assess the extent of the damage and begin to address the massive issues that existed. The time and effort expended by the team at Disaster Master was as if it this was their own home. Christian was in constant contact with us with updates to ensure we were aware of what was being done to minimize the damage as well as to reassure us that they were working to salvage what could be salvaged. They have since been following up with us to see how we are doing and if there is anything we need. WOW! I hope that I never experience this issue again in my life but if I do…. I’ll be calling Christian at Disaster Master to address it. I have to say that they made a horrible experience much better in knowing that we were in great hands.

Disaster Masters is a lifesaver! From the initial contact over the phone and speaking with a sympathetic operator/office staff member, to the quick response of a team led by Garrett, it was a reassuring and professional response/solution to the flood on my 3 day old brand new carpet from my burst water heater. They arrived, assessed, took moisture readings and gave me an estimate that was amazingly reasonable to fix the mess. I was impressed by the knowledge of the technicians, particularly Garrett, and his sidekick who was an expert on reading the moisture in the walls and making recommendations (cannot recall his name). They were honest in their assessments and gave me options on how to deal with it. This company has integrity and you can trust that you won't be taken advantage of in a crisis. Highly recommend.

When a $5 part failed on our water heater when we were not there for over 2 weeks, the subsequent flood, steam-created mold, and water-logged floor, cabinets, doors, etc. was shocking. Disaster Master immediately responded the night it was discovered. They are professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. Their prompt response was such a relief to us! We can't thank them enough for helping us through this crisis. To have a service like theirs in a small town is a blessing.

Disaster Master truly got us through a disaster. We had installed a brand new dishwasher and only ran it once before we found out it was leaking. Later, Disaster Master helped us learn that water damage had threatened the entirety of our kitchen floor as well as the walls. Our floor and cabinets were completely ruined and we had to take out all of it in addition to our sink and refrigerator.

When we had originally found the leak wasn’t slowing down, we called Disaster Master and they came over in less than an hour to assess the situation. This would only be the first of many visits to our kitchen. But each time, the individuals who came were professional, helpful, happy to educate and answer questions, and did a wonderful job. In addition to the assessment and then labor of ripping out our entire kitchen, the communication was always quick and efficient, and they were there for us through every step of the way in dealing with insurance, taking photos, adding industrial dehumidifiers and fans, and overall being the only efficient and pleasant part of our forced kitchen remodel.

These are truly honest, quick, and very pleasant people to work with, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you to the team here for all of your help. We cannot express the amount of gratitude we have for all you’ve done for our household.

Disaster Master was a 10 out of 10 for us! Once we discovered we had a water leak and called, they came to my home residence immediately to address the issues. We had excellent service from Greg cleaning the vents, as well as the dryer vent. They were very overdue and Greg ensured they were done thoroughly. Recommend highly.

The inside of my soul was moldy! My 2014 KIA Soul that is. Gareth came to my home and spend 5 hours meticulously removing all evidence of white mold, wiping down all items I needed to keep, and disposing contaminated seat covers etc off site. Garrett was polite and professional and very thorough -- he has experience detailing cars as well as getting mold to take a hike. The inside of my car looks and smells brand new. I am very happy with the service!

I have used Disaster Master on two occasions on a house in Lincoln City. They were very responsive and started work within days of contact. Disaster master showed up the day after I called and completely cleaned out our crawl space. It was such a mess before with mold, rodent nests and ripped up insulation. They were fast and professional and I am very pleased with the results.

We worked with Disaster Master twice already. Several years ago, we had some mold near the skylights that they cleaned up and remediated. The more recent, second job was larger: we had a huge pest problem in the attic and crawl space. During this time, they also found several air ducts that were disconnected. Whether the job is large or small, the attention to detail is the same. They provide photos every step of the way, which is very helpful if you are not on the property while they are working. They are great communicators and are very professional. We recommend them 100% and will continue to call them for any damage control that we need for our house.

We had water damage and mold due to rodents chewing holes in water pipes underneath our home. Disaster Master did a excellent job in removing and replacing the flooring and dry wall. They also cleaned out the mess underneath the house caused by rats. They found minor water leaks that the plumbers missed. They also pointed out damage to the air ducts too. They were very thorough. I first called Disaster Master in May 22. I asked them to correct the poor and improper installation of the vapor barrier in the house crawlspace. I fully expected a long wait for an appointment but that was not the case. A member of their staff came the next day to inspect the problem and recommend the work required to correct it. Professional, courteous and respectful. They accomplished and completed the work as promised when they said they would. An additional bonus was the cleanliness of the work site when they left.

Yesterday I called Disaster Master for another crawlspace issue. The house had been vacant since late May and when I turned on the heat I noticed several floor vents were not producing the normal volume of air. Once again I assumed I'd have to wait a long time for an appointment and once again I was pleasantly surprised. They squeezed in an inspection the same day and provided me with photos to show me the nature of the problem. Today they returned to preform the necessary work and when it was completed the heating system was working normally.

I don't often write reviews but Disaster Master of Lincoln City deserves my thanks and praise. They offer a wide range of services and, in the future, whenever I need work they specialize in they will be my first call.

The crew from Disaster Master showed up on time (twice), ready to go, and went right to work. They were knowledgeable, courteous, hardworking, and functioned as a team. They were hired by the homebuilder to fix a plumbing leak, and the resulting damage, that was covered under warranty. I didn't pay them myself but wouldn't hesitate a second to call them in the future if I need their services. They did excellent work and educated me about what they were doing and why. At the end of the three day dry out period, they again showed up bright and early as promised, got right to work, and cleared out before the next contractors showed up. I can be picky, but these folks exceeded my expectations. You don't find that often.

As a Veteran, it’s hard to find a company that not only meets, but exceeds the standard. These men and women are hard working, on time, and trustworthy. High recommendation to do a great job fast!!!

This company is 5 stars all the way! They originally came out to haul water and mud out from under our house back in November. After a couple of months we discovered we had duct work that was destroyed by critters. They came back out to inspect what needed to be done and did not charge us for the second inspection. I would recommend them to anyone facing flooding or crawl space issues! Hats off!

We had a disgusting sewage backup into our basement and the stench was rising up into the main floors of our house. After finally getting a plumber out to fix the problem I called Master Disaster at 9:30 AM and by 12:45 PM they had come out and made water damage measurements, moved my junk around, pulled up about 800 square feet of carpet, demolished a bar, picked up the debris and took it away, sprayed microbial, and setup a Hepa Scrubber. Their employees are very knowledgeable, are efficient hard workers, and are extremely professional. I highly recommend them if you ever have such a disaster. At a time when you are most frustrated they will take of all the cleanup for you. They are great!

These guys are excellent - my car sat with unsealed windows for a few months and developed a horrible level of mold. Disaster Master was very flexible in working within my constraints, were very responsive communicating, and did an incredible job cleaning up my car. The guys were very friendly and professional. It is a huge weight off my shoulders to have my car cleaned. Thank you!!

We had a pipe break under our house. Disaster Master found the leak, got the water shut off, dried out all the water damage, removed soaked insulation, brought in these giant dehumidifiers and completely fixed the entire problem. They were so kind and professional. One of the guys, Josh, even showed me how to fix a hinge on my garage door that had nothing to do with the water leak. The wonderful lady who I spoke with on the phone was super kind and helpful, and just made it feel like everything was going to be ok. HIGHLY recommended this wonderful company and these AWESOME people!!

Had an unnoticed problem where plastic water supply pipe to kitchen sink started leaking. After discovering issue about 4 hours later, water had leaked to bedroom in lower level of house. Water had accumulated in bedroom ceiling and carpet was soaking wet. After shutting shut off water supply, contacted Disaster Master in Lincoln City, OR. and spoke with Christian (one of owners). He had a truck out to my house the same day and started remediation. After receiving a fair estimate for work, I was able to begin repairs without filing an insurance claim. Vlad (a co-owner) did awesome job restoring ceiling (cannot even tell where damage was), and repainted. Carpets cleaned. Team is quick, experienced and know what it takes to do a professional job. If you use there service, you will be delighted.

I recently had Disaster Master of Lincoln City clean out and totally renew the crawl space on my home. The crew did an amazing job, good bunch of guys, and they even went above and beyond to help me with a great price as well as connect with a contractor for future home projects.

We own several apartment complexes. We had a tenant that totally destroyed their unit. Disaster Master cleaned out and disinfected the entire unit, and removed all of the carpeting and appliances. They did a very professional job, and removed the awful scent and grime. Now it is a beautiful apartment that we can remodel. Thank you Disaster Master. Christian at Disaster Master and his crew(s) are amazing. Timely, caring, and very communicative.

We had a garage fire and were not sure how to proceed, finally got in touch with them, and Christian met us at the house the next day. From there on out it has essentially been smooth sailing as far as their work, effort, and communications have gone.

They sorted through all the damaged goods in the garage and then took them away for thorough cleaning. Once the garage was cleaned up they then attacked the smoke damage in the house, recommending a textile cleaner and packing out everything else. Then the scrubbed and cleaned the walls and ceilings.

Next they repainted all the walls, and took on an extra job to re-texture the ceiling to bring it up to date. Their work and craftsmanship was excellent.

We just wrapped up with the full fire remediation and hired them again to clean out the crawl space under the house for some furnace rework that we are having done, again, timely, and communicative and a fantastic job.

We will use them again in the future if the need arises.

i just had my roof redone and now trying to repair inside damage. Christian/Vlad came through working their schedule in-between the asbestos clean-up contractor then mediating the mold issues so i can now complete the repair of the bedroom. Crew that arrived went at it with few breaks and got it all done in one day. They kept me updated all through the process. Great job. Very professional and punctual. What a treat to work with professionals out here on the coast.

We discovered ground water had flooded our crawl space and ruined all of the vapor barrier and furnace ducting. No one ever expects to have a disaster strike in their own home. I would never have expected to get a call from my wife, in a panic over the first floor of our home flooding, but I did.
When I tried calling the local big name cleanup company, they were unable to get to get to me for an hour at minimum. Remembering seeing the sign for "Disaster Master" along the highway, I decided that if this didn't qualify for a disaster, I didn't know what did!
When I called I spoke to Christian, he said they were just finishing up a job and would be at my house within the hour. I called my wife to let her know that they would be on their way shortly. No more than 30 minutes later they did arrive to find my wife still bailing water from the floors downstairs. Without missing a beat the team from Disaster Master took over the bailing, and assured my wife that things would be okay. Shortly after they arrived Christian called me back to let me know that they were on the scene, and were taking care of the dry out.
The performance, and professionalism they showed was amazing. Every step of the way, they helped explain what was happening, why it needed to be done, and documented it for the insurance company with photos and videos. The crew took care of our home like professionals, and even had a sense of personal investment in taking care of it, like it were their own.
I cannot imagine how traumatic and painful this incident over a broken water heater could have been. Thanks to the crew with Disaster Master, I will never have to know either. If you have a disaster in your home that requires professionals, who will treat your home like it were their own, look no further!

Christian and his men were so easy to work with. They were quick to schedule and very flexible with what we needed. They cleaned our attic that was very rat infested and honestly a public health nightmare. Christian kept me informed through the whole process, and didn’t charge us more when it turned out to be more work than expected when he completed the quote. After it was all done he sent us pictures of the process that really highlighted what great work they do. I honestly cannot recommend this company enough! They also came all the way to Toledo from Lincoln City. Then on top of all that Once they were done you couldn’t tell they were even there except the sterile attic. Truly an amazing service completed by hardworking individuals.

Highly recommend! Chris and his team were true professionals in their communication and water remediation work at my beach cottage in Pacific City.
The documentation of the work with provided photos was really appreciated. Glad I didn't get my homeowners insurance involved it turned out to be less costly then my $2500 deductible. Don't hesitate to call them if you experience a need for a disaster damage specialist.

These guys did a fantastic job cleaning the mold in our bathroom and fixing our crawlspace. They were informative, on time and very easy to work with. We would highly reccomend them.

Although they performed the work and got to us quickly, I felt they were a bit misleading.

First, they charged $129 to give a quote and said if they were hired to do our work, they would discount the $129 off the work. When he got here for the quote, he said if he didn't do the work right then, the $129 would not be taken off because they would have to come back. So it didn't feel like there was a chance to ask around. Instead it felt like a pressure sales tactic to make sure they were hired. (We didn't have them do the work until the next day)

Second, I wish they were more clear that fixing the drywall was not included in the work. I think a reasonable person would conclude that part of fixing the problem would be covering up the several foot hole they cut out of the ceiling. Instead, they cut a hole in the ceiling, tore up flooring, ran a dehumidifier and some fans for a few days, came back and picked up their equipment and asked for about $1200. I think the hardest part is covering up the hole and if I knew that was not going to be included, I would not have hired them because it seemed like a lot of money for that amount of work. Although the drywall was not on the quote page, using phrases like, "we will get this as good as new" and "Vlad has years of experience with drywall" were a bit misleading without some sort of disclaimer about not covering the hole. Good as new is not a 2 foot hole in the ceiling.

They were quick to respond and got the moisture out. However, it's a lesson learned to read the quote and be sure you know the scope of work whenever you hire a contractor. At the same time, I think Disaster Master could do a little more to make sure customers know the scope, especially considering this may be the first time customers hire someone to perform this type of work.

I was able to take care of patients in our community and Christian and Vlad stepped in and took care of my home from the severe flooding that occurred in my home. I never was faced before with flooding but having these guys come in quickly they saved my home! Even my insurance claim adjuster stated he wished he could work with these guys on every claim they were very organized and was there to explain what occurred and what needed to be done. Old houses have habits that require serious attention. This home is no exception. Christian's Disaster Master was attentive to staying in touch. He let me know what was going to happen and when. He followed up. He communicates well. I would hire his company again if I ever have difficulties.

We had storm waters unexpectedly come into our farm building through an unsealed gap. Christian and Vlad came out in a hurry to help us with their big dehumidifier machines and a generator to get the building dried out again. They've also helped diagnose and eliminate a nasty black mold patch in the bedroom. Fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thanks guys!

Just wanted to thank the guys from Disaster Master in a HUGE way!.. We had a not so pleasant surprise recently where the sewer backed up into our lower bathroom and living space. Paradise Carpeting gave me their name as I had no idea who to call! They immediately fit us into their schedule, came over here at the end of a day where they had been working hard on another area and got the area at my house cleaned up completely - staying till after dark and after work hours!!! They set up the room with humidifiers and checked on us and came back today to finish up and make sure everything is clean and healthy - my husband has cancer so it was not a safe environment for anyone but especially him. These are the most friendly, hard working guys I have met - kind and helpful and wonderful positive personalities - they just got in there and did the job and made sure it was complete - I would recommend them to everyone and would not hesitate to call them in the future! I felt lucky to have met them and appreciate the work they did for us!!!

They came out quickly to inspect water damage from a roof leak, were very nice and informative. I would highly recommend them!

WOW! these guy were great! We had so much water damage and when they showed up they made us feel so much better as they went to work and it was not long after we had our house back and the nasty smells were gone! They were on time and very affordable.. Super professional people and very nice. Our dogs even loved them..

Let me just say, they are awesome!! We had a kitchen fire and these guys came in, took everything out, cleaned it top to bottom, and did a PHENOMENAL job. Was super pleased with how amazing everything turned out. The carpets, bathroom, and walls looked basically brand new when they were done. Nothing smelled of smoke anymore. Along with their friendly attitudes, they really worked well with what they had and did such an awesome job. Another pleased family, I would highly recommend them. Thank you guys!

Christian and Vlado were quick to respond, and very thorough. They got to the problem and dealt with it immediately. We would highly recommend these guys to everyone. Seriously. The. Best. These guys are AMAZING! Not only were they fast to respond and super fast and efficient while they worked, they were so polite and gracious to us during a highly unfortunate circumstance. Our four year old flushed a roll of TP and the toilet ran water for who knows how long. It flooded out our entire master bedroom and hall. Their price was fair and was far better than everyone else we contacted. I always try to support local and I am so glad we found this company. Obviously, the hope is that no one ever needs their services but if you find yourself in a home disaster and need help, these guys are so great!
