We had them install a new fireplace insert and chimney repair. They did a fantastic job, and we couldn't be happier the results! The job was done at the quoted price on the scheduled day. They have expert knowledge and know what they're doing. Super friendly and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend to anyone needing this type of work!

TJs Chimney Service was great! I scheduled them for a dryer vent cleaning. They showed up on time, they cared about my property and keeping it clean, and they did exactly what they said they would. They were very informative as well. I would highly recommend them!

We had had a sudden problem with smoke backdraft in our fireplace insert. I called TJ's Chimney Service on Monday morning and they said that someone would come out the very next morning. Two gentlemen arrived, Jason and Derrick, and they worked for more than two hours not only determining the causes of that problem and fixing it but also adjusting the latch on our insert's door so that it sealed correctly. They also cleaned the chimney while here. Absolutely would recommend these two guys and would use again.

Austin was great to work with. Let me know what my options were but was able to fix my dryer problem in a timely way

Austin was wonderful, both in the inspection and cleaning and the repair we had them do. Kristina, in the office was super helpful and sweet! We love how it turned out and feel much safer having the repairs done!! We will use them from here on out if the need arises.

Just had our new fire place insert installed yesterday and it works perfectly. Heats the room wonderfully and we’re not loosing heat up the chimney like before. Austin & Client were friendly and explained what needed to be done. According to Austin, the stovepipe was not installed correctly by TJs back in 2019 according to what Austin indicated. The is bothersome.

They didn't have what we needed but the lady that answered the phone was very helpful and sent me to a place that did have what we needed. Greatly appreciated

The service was excellent!! Work was professional and clean. Questions were answered I asked during the install and a good explanation of operation of the new fire place. I would highly recommend their product and services!!

Austin came out to repair cracks and damage to the top of our chimney. He worked throughout the day, and I didn’t even see him take a break. He also waterproofed the whole chimney along with adding mortar to the base of the chimney. His work was top notch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again if needed.

Rob and Derek were very knowledgeable and helpful. Spotted some things I’ve missed and they are going to come back fix. I would definitely recommend them.

Scheduled a yearly maintenance and at that appointment requested a last minute add on to help stabilize our insert, which had become a little wobbly. This company repaired my mother’s chimney recently. She was extremely pleased with TJ’s chimney repair service. They did an outstanding job rebuilding her chimney. They were all very polite and respectful. She appreciated Gabe, Robert, Jordan, and Derick as well two other nice master craftsmen who helped complete the job.

Jordan was awesome! He even came out on a Saturday to do the maintenance work we needed on our fireplace. He kept us informed of what he was doing and why it was important. The price was fair and agreed to up front. Would recommend to anyone needing fireplace or chimney work and inspections!

Austin was very friendly, polite and professional. He took the time to help me understand what I can do differently this winter to reduce the build up of creosote. He further explained some characteristics of my particular stove and gave me tips on efficiencies.

Had chimney cap replaced and flashing around the chimney. Chimney cap looks good, the flashing around the base was horribly done and roof shingles that were replace with gray color and the roof is tan. About a year later nothing was done. I'm again getting rain water coming down the flue again. Did text Gabe on the issue with no response

I have been doing business with TJ's for at least 10 years. The owner and staff are knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. Thank you TJ's for taking care of me all these years, the brickwork still looks new and looking forward to my replacement wood burning stove! Deb

I made an appt for a chimney cleaning.
Waited 6 wks for a guy to come out and stay only 15 min. He told us it was unsafe and needed thousands of dollars of repairs, refused to clean it and charged $225 (only $25 less than the entire cleaning was supposed to cost). Tried to reach out to the owner but got no response.
Feel like i should get a huge refund an.

We needed a new gas fireplace insert and contacted TJ’s. They explained what a new insert would look like but also designed a completely new one for us. We loved the design proposal and couldn’t be any happier with our new fireplace.

The staff was very friendly, professional and talented. TJ’s did not consider the job complete until we were completely satisfied.

Looking for a service on an emergency repair, TJ's was very quick and responsive on getting me a quote. All though I didn't use them, the response that I did get will make sure that I call them back in the future when I have time to schedule the work!

So I haven’t had the services performed yet, however I have already paid for a portion of the parts.

I wanted to update my last review since it wasn’t that great. The communication between the workers and the customers still needs a lot of work but the lady at the front desk who answers the phones is the only reason I chose to give this company another shot. She was extremely professional, polite and understanding with the situation at hand.

However, the only other frustration I have is that the technician came out to my house almost 1 hour and 30 minutes early without calling and I wasn’t home. Luckily I answered the ring door bell or I wouldn’t have known. At the end, the technician was extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful. But he did tell me that I would have a scheduled date and time for the services to be rendered either that day or the next. Since I already paid 30% of the total cost, I ended up calling back a day later since I didn’t receive a call to schedule and once again the lady at the desk mentioned that the turn around time is 5-7 days (because they order the parts needed to complete the job).

I would just suggest that all the employees need to be on the same page with turnaround times for scheduling as well as making customer communication a top priority.

I had a new fireplace insert installed today October 25 2022. My install was scheduled for 8:30 and the installers showed up at 8:15 what service!! Jake and Rob did an excellent job and were very respectful of our home and very professional and great to work with. Jake also took extra time to explain all the functions and especially the pilot light mechanism and how to safely light and turn off. Also when I was looking for a new insert TJ's was at the top of the list so I visited the showroom. Brandon and Christine were very helpful in helping me decide what best fit my needs and situation. Hats off to all who were involved in my project. It was a very pleasant experience and I would absolutely recommend TJ's to anyone with fireplace and chimney needs.

Jacob came to our home and provided us with great information and insight. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We will be moving forward with any fireplace purchases or questions with TJs.

TJ’s performed a rebuild of our chimney’s firebox, a parge of the smoke chamber and installed a new chimney cap. The finished firebox and chimney cap look great. The smoke chamber looks nice and smooth. We can’t wait for it to get cold so we can light a fire!

Austin and Jake did a great job on our chimney. The deck was covered with a tarp and all was restored to its original form.

Jordan and Rob did such a great job with a tricky install! They went the extra mile to fabricate an extra piece on the spot that would suit my fireplace and made sure it looked perfect, and took time to line my insert up just right in the brick façade. I really could not be more pleased with this company. On top of the great work, the office people were pleasant and communicative, start to finish. I’ll be recommending TJ’s to everyone!

I contacted TJ’s in an attempt to get someone to look at and repair my gas fireplace. It had quit working and I had already contacted several companies and none would come out. The excuses ranged from businesses not servicing the brand I had or that they were too far away. When I called TJ’s the lady I spoke to was very nice and asked some basic questions and then scheduled for a tech (Brandon) to come out and take a look. I was obviously a little further away than their normal service radius and I was fully expecting to pay an additional fee (I was NEVER charged any mileage or fuel fee) Within several days Brandon came out and determined the problem. I did pay for that service visit. They called me several days later with a quote for the new part and several weeks later Brandon was back out to install it. He had some additional problems and had to order another part and eventually made a third trip out and got things working perfectly. I thought that their prices were extremely fair especially in light of the distance and number of trips that they had to make. Some problems are just not easy to figure out but they stuck with me.
I was very pleased with the service that I received! From the first phone call to the final fix the staff was excellent at communicating with me, keeping me informed and giving me options. Their customer service and professionalism were excellent! I would not hesitate to use them again in the future or to recommend them to any of my friends! Thanks!
